They did not use up to date lifting techniques and the equipment was subpar. I decided to leave. Later the owner, Beth, called me up and did not ask why I decided to leave during the class or why I no longer wanted to join but instead she told me they have a drop in rate of $20 per class and she was calling to get a payment by phone. I told her I was never told about a fee. Of course she didn't mention this "fee" before I went into the class, it is not posted on their reception desk, not on the door, and not on their website. I was not at a position where I could stay on the phone and told her I had to go and would search the website again to see if perhaps I had missed the fees notification. She then started getting rude with me. When I got home I searched the website again and their group class schedule and again no mention of any "drop in" fees. This place may do better if they charged a $5 drop in fee just to use the gym or sauna but I wouldn't bother with the classes.

The vibe is upbeat, and the staff, while not the most outgoing, was helpful. I went in the late afternoon and while there were a lot of people there it never felt crowded and I was able to get my workout in without any issues. Free lockers on the gym floor for personal gear were a nice touch. My only complaint was having to pay for the day pass. This location does not allow one to try the gym for free, unlike a lot of other PF locations in the region. Still, that wasn't a show stopper and I'm looking forward to using the facilities and checking out some of the amenities.

The polo field was immaculate, the pavilion serving drinks was comfortable, the announcer was entertaining while educating, and the cocktails and BBQ truck were perfect! The polo games were really fun to watch! Between games they had a goofy but fun horse race (blow up horses) for kids and adults. I highly recommend Banbury! Fun for adults of all ages and kids! Circles in front of the goal as a No Fly zone like most leagues abandon at u5. Poor communication from the league and teams aren't permitted to practice more that an hour (1 day) per week! Some teams didn't have a coach up until the first game. Uniforms are expensive, only 8 game seasons (could be 10), and All Star teams are first come first served basis which comes with a fee of $55 for just 2 additional days of play. (A double elimination tournament). 1 star for the volunteer aspect but little else going for it unfortunately. Hope they can rebound but parents would be better off making the hike to prince William county until they can put a better more organized product on the field.
