AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!…read more I recently threw a birthday party here and it exceeded my expectations. You have the party room for 2 hours and then you can enjoy the other two hours in the pool. They made the whole process of checking in so much easier by asking for a list of the guests and checking them in. Make sure guests know they MUST wear a bathing suit to get in. Overall, we had a great stress-free birthday party! :)

I genuinely enjoy this facility and wanted to share some feedback regarding the current pool safety…read morepolicy, specifically the requirement that children under 48 inches remain within arm's length of a parent or guardian in the toddler pool area. While I appreciate the facility's commitment to safety, I believe this policy may benefit from review in certain circumstances. My five-year-old is slightly under 48 inches tall and is a capable swimmer but he was still given a yellow bracelet because of his height. During our recent visit, a staff member (she seemed to be the one in charge) told us about the arm's length requirement while my son was playing in the shallow toddler pool area, which only reaches ankle depth. I fully support close supervision requirements in deeper water or for infants and young toddlers. However, the current policy creates some practical challenges in the toddler pool area: 1. The shallow depth of the toddler pool presents minimal risk for older children who can swim. 2. Multiple parents attempting to maintain arm's length proximity in a confined space leads to congestion and difficulty navigating around one another. Which can make things even more difficult trying to keep an eye on your child and your child's constant movement when you have a parent in front of you trying to keep an eye on their child. 3. The policy becomes impossible to enforce when children use the toddler play structure and mini slides, where parents cannot physically maintain arm's length distance. Maybe some parents can fit going up the structure, but we certainly cannot fit going down the slide. We would have to go back down the steps of the play structure and then try to get to our child who most certainly is farther away from us because kids do not sit still. I believe a modified policy that considers both the child's swimming ability and the water depth would better serve families while maintaining appropriate safety standards. Perhaps children who demonstrate swimming competency could be permitted greater independence in ankle-deep water, while maintaining stricter supervision requirements in deeper areas.

I have been a member of this gym for several years, but unfortunately, the quality of management…read morehas significantly declined under Mr. Love. I recently had a very concerning experience after leaving an honest negative review. Mr. Love called me directly, and instead of addressing my concerns professionally, he was dismissive and made me feel guilty for speaking up. During that conversation, I explained ongoing issues: limited access to equipment due to overcrowding and frequent classes, the steam room often being closed without any posted cleaning schedule, and staff behavior that can feel rude and unwelcoming. None of these concerns were taken seriously. A week ago, I experienced another incident. As I entered the steam room with three other members, we were abruptly told to leave because it was being cleaned. There was no prior notice or posted schedule, and the staff member handled the situation in a very rude and inconsiderate way, despite the fact that we were already undressed and ready to use the facility. Following this, I spoke with a manager, Beth Douglas, to share my concerns. From the beginning, she labeled me as "agitated" and "difficult," which was both unprofessional and dismissive. I was not even offered a seat during the conversation while both she and the maintenance manager remained seated, which made the interaction feel uncomfortable and disrespectful. Instead of addressing the issue, I was told to consider finding another gym. After informing them that I was recording the conversation (due to being labeled unfairly), my membership was terminated. I also attempted to contact corporate to escalate these concerns but was unsuccessful. After reading other reviews, it appears that similar complaints about management and staff behavior have been raised by others, with little to no action taken. It is disappointing that a gym at this price point fails to provide not only consistent access to amenities but also basic customer respect. A gym should be a welcoming place that supports well-being and stress relief, not one that creates additional frustration. I cannot recommend this location based on my experience.

This was my first try with this spot after doing classes off and on at Swim Kids in Gainesville…read more This was much closer and when I checked it out it looked like a nice pool. The front desk lady was very nice and thorough in explaining the options. They're a little more competitive on pricing than Swim Kids. But after this first class I can say I really wasn't wowed by the instructor. She didn't really seem to have the personality or temperament for smaller kids. I barely saw her smile or say an encouraging word. To be fair, the levels at swim kids and kids first don't correspond, therefore my son was signed up for a level 3 which was way beyond his skills and ability. He was younger than both of the other kids there. He's going to move to a different timeslot, one level down. But when I asked who will be teaching the level 2 class, the administrator stated it would be the same teacher. She's probably just a kid herself, but I did like the bubbly personality displayed by the instructors of his previous swim school. It was just the first class. Hopefully it will get better and I'll update the review.

She really knows how to make swimming exciting for the little ones, with lots of singing, enthusiam, high fives, and encouraging them to use their imagination. My daughter has improved dramatically in such a short time! She is so confident in the water now and is starting to swim on her own at 3.5 yrs old. Another plus - the facility has a little toy area outside of the pool so kids can play there while they wait for their class to start or after they're done. All in all, we've been very pleased with the results! :) Definitely recommend.

My daughter attends this school for swimming and it has gone really well. She started at 5 months…read moreand has graduated to level 2 already! Now, the only gripe I have about the school is when they have subs for the normal swim teachers. I understand that life happens, but when the sub seems clueless to how the class is organized, it becomes frustrating. Not only for the babies, but also for the parents paying the school fee. I have seen it a few times where the parents are complaining about the class. The training could be a little cleaner or at least have a veteran teacher with someone who is new. Overall a great experience and will recommend the school to any babies or kids who need to learn swimming!

Signed up semi-private lessons for two of my kids last month. Two lessons a week, Thursdays and…read moreFridays. Billing period states June 27 to July 26. I decided to put the classes on hold after one billing period due to vacation plans. Gave them 30 days notice as requested. So there should be 10 lessons in total which ends today, July 26. My husband took kids to lesson yesterday July 25. He thought swim lessons has ended because instructor told him yesterday was the last session. I knew today's the last lesson at the back of my head because we have received only 9 sessions so far. I had to call them to ask why it was cancelled. No explanation given. They reinstated my session immediately. If you like this swim school, good for you. Pricing is competitive and kids have extracurricular activities. However I won't be signing up for another billing cycle due to their glitchy useless app for private classes, subpar lessons and overwhelmed instructors who take a few minutes off of each session. Below is more insight into my personal experience. Keep reading if you are interested. - I had the perfect disaster month of the year to sign up. June to July. Fourth of July fell on a Thursday this year. As a result, my Thursday session was cancelled. And they also cancelled Friday 7/5. No cancellation notifications received. We showed up for Friday lesson. Had to come back home. No makeup passes were issued - I had to call multiple times to schedule two makeup classes because they cannot schedule more than three days in advance for private lessons. I don't have any power in the app because I signed up for semi-private lessons. They have to do it from their end. Paid more money for zero convenience. Want app power? Go for regular classes that share time with three other kids. Your child will receive instructions for about 7 minutes per session and watch his/her classmates for 23 minutes. We see it as a complete waste of time. Upgrade to private classes and pay more. You will lose app control. We had a makeup class on a busy Wednesday evening. All swim lanes were occupied. My kids were pushed to the stairs near the exit and handicapped chair. My daughter kept hitting the chair everytime she comes out of water. This is the kind of treatment you will get here for paying more money for private classes. Messy management and the front desk has no idea what they are doing. My calls were always put on hold while they find out answers for me. Manager Gillian was only interested in selling the plan to us during first visit. No more interactions afterwards even though I see her behind the desk time to time. These 30 minutes lessons always end 3-4m early. No I do not appreciate that. Let kids stay in water for full 30 then discuss progress with parents after. Also I find instructors feedback are very generalized and not really helpful to parents. We worked with 3-4 different instructors over the past month. My kids favorite was coach Rachel but she often seem overworked. School has plenty of changing rooms so you don't have to worry in that department. Bathrooms are maintained clean. However, One swim dryer has been broken for the entire month we were there. They never fixed it. Overall this is a shady place that's not fully transparent with their operating practices. Also from my personal analysis there's a certain skill ceiling for kids here. They won't become swim experts because management is only trying to squeeze money out of your wallet for long run. Interest to kids progress comes second to them.
