Delicious! This darling coffee shop serves up a few morning pastries as well as gelato. It is much bigger inside than it looks and there is parking on the street in front of the building as well as a large parking lot behind the store shared with L.A. Fitness. You can enter from the back parking lot as well. The decor is charming. There is ample seating with both large and small tables. The coffee is sooo delicious and yes, you will get a beautiful milky froth design in your cup if you order a latte. I deducted one star because the prices are a tad high and they use lavender syrup rather than fresh local lavender sprigs in their lavender coffee. We use to frequent the location near the Buffalo Farm before they moved to Mill Creek. Now I just pass it on the way to LA Fitness. I took my family and friends here last fall to get some gelato/ice cream. When the order came, my friends laugh. I looked and saw two tiny melon ball scoops of ice cream. When I ask what I paid for I was shocked. My kids are small but when a child can 1 bite two scoops...I have a serious issue with that establishment. I'd suggest you go down a few blocks to Cold Stone....you will get more than your money's worth. read more

My friend suggested we get coffee here and I'm so glad we did! I admit I'm such a Starbucks junkie, but it was so refreshing to try somewhere new and locally owned. Spotted Cow is really cute and conveniently located in the Mill Creek Town Center. I like the open layout of the shop, even if the tables are placed close together and you don't have much privacy when talking. The staff was friendly and eager to help us decide what to order. I got an iced mocha and a pastry for $13. More than I'd pay at Starbucks, but I felt the pastry was well made and amazing! There are plenty of tables so we had no problem finding a place to sit. I wouldn't recommend going to this location , the coffee tastes like water down with burnt shots and the staff there will kick you out after a two hour limit if you don't purchase another coffee. I also saw the staff not following safety guidelines, they don't wear their face mask correctly, they lack sanitizing tables and allow people without mask to enter. read more

The place is packed with mostly who I assumed to be local high schoolers...the hipster, coffee house-dwelling ones of course. The decor is super cute: a cross between country and industrial-inspired. This place is one of my favorite coffee shops. The atmosphere is always great. Fireplace, many tables, and even live events. I've seen the owner a few times and he would always bring his dog over the summer and leash him infront of the shop. There would be a mat, water/food bowl, and even a cute sign saying "Hi my name is Bu. I've just met you and I love you." next to the dog. As far as their coffee, I would highly recommend their Vanilla Chai Latte. It's one of my favorites! I've never had a Chai Latte as good as theirs! I would also recommend their gelato (however their scoops are extremely small). Each one has a unique flavor but my favorite is their Chocolate Coconut. (Lots of coconut bits) The only thing that I would complain about is their wifi. The first hour is free, but after that you would have to use a code after making a purchase to get wifi for 2 hours. It's really inconvinent if you're planning on staying at the coffee shop for awhile. But I'd definitely recommend stopping by and trying their coffee/gelato! read more

Spotted Cow usually has pretty friendly service. It's of course always a good start when a coffee shop roasts their own beans. Their atmosphere is really nice as well! Their gelato is wonderful and they have a great variety of flavors! Parking in the town center is tricky as always at certain times of day. It's not my favorite coffee, and they tend to take a bit longer to make drinks so I can't go if I'm in a rush. Not my favorite coffee shop, but it is good when I'm looking for a drink while I'm at work nearby. They also will make great tea lattes which is always a plus. I really like this place. Their baristas take their time to make a perfect cup of coffee each time. Their affogatos and extra foamy lattes are to die for. It has the unique coffee shop ambience with plenty of comfy furniture to sit in and lounge around. They even have live music on the evenings. The only reason why I can't give it a five star is the fact that it takes forever to get a cup of coffee. If you are not in a rush and are hanging out, their coffee is worth it. Unfortunately, if you are getting it to go, it will take 20 minutes to get your coffee. Also, they only have one person at the time making the coffee, hence the wait. read more

Walked in on a busy Sunday afternoon. Lots of space for studying, catching up with friends, and people watching! They have a concise beverage menu, which is nice! I also enjoy that they serve 8 ounce beverages here, for some reason, many places only serve 12 ounces and up. The ambiance is a little loud, so I'd highly recommend headphones if you were gonna get some work done, but other than that, a great place to be! My go to order is a white mocha, and Spotted Cow did not disappoint! I could taste the white mocha, but also the espresso. I love medium roasts and this is one of the few places that I've been to in Washington so far that have it! Most other places are dark roasts, which I'm not the biggest fan of. It's great that they also roast their coffee in house! When we were there, the roaster was actually starting a batch. The cashier and baristas were quick and efficient. I definitely recommend the Spotted Cow and will be back soon! read more

We were trying to find a coffee shop nearby and we thought this would've been a good place to go. We didn't realize it was the "grand opening" because there had been pictures for reference that dated back 2 years. We also didn't feel a great vibe from fellow customers because they were looking at us with dirty looks just because we were wearing sweatpants and hoodies post workout. The scone we ordered was supposed to be warmed up but when we received it, it was cold and lowkey tasted like cardboard with a side of blueberries. Lastly, our drinks tasted like straight up milk. Two stars for trying and great customer service at the register though. read more

Ridiculously amazing coffee-- better than many places i. Seattle. They roast their beans in-house and do it medium-light so you taste all the original character of the beans. I didn't bring in any out of store food/drink items.... (I only say this because it seems that these are the reasons other reviewers have had a negative experience) The barista was friendly and gave several tastes before I eventually decided on the caramel and salty peanut gelato. (soooo yummy) I can't really say how the iced vanilla latte was because I drank it after the gelato (wrong order!) and it was super bitter. I added sugar until I realized that it wasn't the drink, it was the super sugary gelato I had first. Eventually the gelato wore off and the drink was good. I loved the seating area, large couches and chairs with tables throughout. I could see myself hanging out here IF the children's area wasn't busy (as a single, childless gal I don't really want a bunch of screaming kids when I am hanging out or working). read more

I don't know what has happened, but the quality of the drinks have sunk to such an abysmal level that I can no longer stomach paying your (already inflated) prices. The last time I visited, I didn't even have the option of a real coffee cup, so I had to suck it out of a paper cup. And it took about 15 minutes of standing around before I finally got my drink. One of my favorite study spots up north. Whether in the morning or at night, although it can get pretty crowded on weekend nights. Wifi is FAST and reliable. Plenty of seats and plugs. Coffee is really good. Tastes fresh. Good selection of SF syrups. I usually get a skinny white mocha. I tasted my sisters regular mocha and it was also superb. As for gelato, not the best or creamiest gelato I've tasted in Seattle, but good enough for being one of the very few gelato places up north. My personal favorite is the hazelnut. Mango is the runner up. I tried a lot of flavors and these were the only 2 that really stood out to me. But that's just my opinion. read more

GELATO REVIEW: This is the worst gelato I've ever had. This is not hyperbole. Seriously. My wife and I ordered three different flavors between us: chocolate, rice, and pumpkin. The chocolate and rice were clumpy and icy to an extent I've never experienced with gelato. It was almost like eating shaved ice, but less smooth or pleasant. I imagine the rice flavor was supposed to be sweet like rice pudding, but it was syrupy sweet with an unpleasant chalky aftertaste. There were pieces of rice that were hard and chewy like chewy nuts in old ice cream that's been sitting in back of the freezer too long... And I think that's the problem here. Either there was a problem with their refrigeration system or they're hanging onto their gelato too long. I think the gelato had gone through several defrost-refeeze cycles, rendering our gelato almost inedible. The service was also "icy." While not overtly rude, the short-haired blonde cashier was either having a bad day or doesn't seem to like her job. Despite ordering quickly and efficiently, we still got the definite vibe that we were inconveniencing her. There was no "thank you" either. Sorry, Spotted Cow. With so many coffee and dessert options around, there's no reason to give you a second chance. read more

Not only does this place have amazing drinks, they make their own caramel and vanilla!!! It's probably the best caramel I've ever had on a coffee. The ladies working had awesome customer service and helped me decide between a few amazing drinks, the lavender almond latte and the caramel vanilla latte! And my sandwich is delicious! I'm too full to try their ice cream today but it looked packed with toppings and absolutely mouth watering, especially on a warm day like today. Came here today. Another great experience. The place had a new look too which was nice. I saw that they have a rewards program that you can opt into. I chose not too, because I don't come here often. Nestled at the end of Mill Creek Town Center, this is my new favorite place to come for Gelatiamo Gelato, which is the best that Seattle has to offer. I came here today for three scoops of Rice, Baci di Dama, and Stracciatella and each one was incredible. Zorana behind the counter was super helpful and friendly and made the experience that much more pleasant for my group of friends and I. The cafe is spacious and has plenty of room to study and relax.
