We had eye coverage from work and somehow still got charged $500 and no one would explain why or where the charges came from. After asking around for another eye doctor, who made us feel like long time family members, they also stated our daughter did not have bifocals like my wife was told! So I took the virtual one! I get there the day of appt ! The lady is checking me in asked ......oh are you diabetic? I said yes! Oh then you can't have the virtual visit you have to see the doctor!! This happen to my wife 3 weeks prior too. Anyway I tell them I will be looking elsewhere, as they are so unprofessional. It's been 3 weeks and I called to make an in-house appointment, that is 3 weeks out now. The 3 weeks are passing and it starts with a email to confirm my Wed appointment, then next day they call to remind me of the Wed appointment in 3 days. Now I get a call from shopko optical pertaining to insurance. I don't have optical insurance, so she rudely blurbs out the eye exam is about 180.00. After this Wednesday appointment it will be my last time. You sure can tell the associates they hired to replace the original worker suck to maximize. I will be letting the doctor know after my exam.

The ladies in the front are always helpful with selecting glasses that best fit you, even if you're as picky as I am. Dr. Newcomb is very nice and definitely knows his stuff. The wait for your appointment isn't very long. My mom has gone to this eye doctor since she was 18 and has never had any problems in the many years she has gone to him. Still there have been no problems with the staff, wait, or time to get glasses.
