I was very pleased with everything about this practice and made my next appointment well in advance since it takes a while to get an appointment. That speaks to how pleased are with Dr. Wight. I usually get glasses from one of those 1 day turnaround places, but wanted to use a local company…read morethis time. When I arrived (this was on Saturday, November 1), I asked the woman at the front desk if could get my glasses on the same day. She told me no, that only one company in the area did that. I decided to do business with them anyway and asked how long it would be until my glasses arrived. She said approximately 5 days. When I finished my exam and picked out my frame, I paid in full. I then asked again how long it would be before my glasses would arrive. She said it would be approximately 5 days. On Friday, November 7, I called and asked if my glasses had arrived and I reminded her that she told me it would only take 5 days. She said "Well, they went out on Monday, so should be Wednesday next week (Nov. 12). I called today (Nov 13) and the glasses are still not in. That makes it 12 days, not 5, and my glasses are still not here. I will come back here and give everyone an update on exactly how many days it took for my glasses to arrive. In the meantime, I have decided that I will NEVER purchase from this company again.

The ladies in the front are always helpful with selecting glasses that best fit you, even if you're as picky as I am. Dr. Newcomb is very nice and definitely knows his stuff. The wait for your appointment isn't very long. My mom has gone to this eye doctor since she was 18 and has never had any problems in the many years she has gone to him. Still there have been no problems with the staff, wait, or time to get glasses.
