I recently called them again to ask for my husband's PD because we found glasses online that he liked and we are updating his prescription. Literally one year my super expensive glasses broke. Which is actually less than one year because when I received them the prescription was off and I had to have them fix it. So if I am going based off of that it was less than one year. I called to get prescription and they will not provide me with all the details needed to order a new pair online. They refused to assist even with all the money I spent. Run. They push you to spend on unnecessary items. I had to get the lens correct and the $200+ I spent is out the door. Glasses totaled $558 the $200 were to get bifocals I did not need ask them to correct which they are doing but they will not credit the 200 on unnecessary bifocals nit even a store credit. Manager Edward did not care. There site states they take quality in there work but they do not. All they care about is the money you shell out. The eye doctor is good but the that owner of this establishment is not at all professional. I will continue my complaint to BBB and every other social media possible. Economy is hard and people like this makes it harder.

He walked through what he was doing and explained why he was testing certain things. He was comprehensive and offered some tips that I hadn't heard of before. Christine, who I believe is new to the practice, was truly awesome and helping me pick out frames. She picked up on what I was leaning toward and ended up picking out some frames I would not have noticed. She made the process fun. Dr. Hochberg mentioned that Cigna is good insurance when working with them. When you go back and ask them to adjust the frames and ask them to measure your PD, they don't. So you spend 4 hours on hold and speaking to customer service only to find out they don't actually do anything but call the store directly. If the store decides no, America's best company does nothing tO intercede on their customers behalf. I have wasted my benefit on an exam, and $500 on glasses I can't wear. Deciding if I have the fortitude to deal with the store directly again as their customer service did not make me feel valued or respected.

Extra stuff was added to my bill (a warranty for $25 that I was never asked about) and the cost for various extras was never discussed with me. They forgot to charge me for my exam. When I went back in to clear things up I got some serious pushback and attitude from some staff members who spoke about me like I wasn't there sharing inaccurate information about why I came back. Fast forward to today and I called to get an update on my order (you can only get updates by calling). My first call had a lot of "umm" and "hmm" that resulted in me being told they'd need to call me back after a deeper dive into my order status. I call back after about an hour and a half and I get put on hold, which is fine. My update was that I should expect a call early next week. Or, maybe late next week. That was it. I call corporate customer service and had a really lovely interaction with someone who quickly tells me my order left the manufacturing facility at a specific time yesterday, was in-transit with UPS, and was expected at the store on Tuesday. She had no clue why the store staff wouldn't just tell me that during my first or second call. The questionable customer service and ridiculous wait time are not worth the low prices. My family has had four other complete pairs of glasses from three different companies delivered between June 30th and today. America's Best started the process on June 29th. There were opportunities to mend the interaction, but this location just didn't seem interested in getting that done. Go with Zenni if you want a quality inexpensive frame delivered. Target Optical if you want designer frames in-network. Warby Parker if you're in a place to wait for reimbursement.

Dr Bob. St Main Street Optics saved the day!! He worked with me diligently and with tremendous courtesy to allay my apprehension's and ultimately help me with an updated prescription...
