Customer service can improve ALOT! I have called their service department 2 times into days. NO call back after I left my name and number. The second time calling the VM was full and I was hung up on. I called again and the young woman was rude and dismissive of my concerns. Just kept loudly telling me this morning has been very busy. Both times I have taken my car into vision ford in Alamogordo for recall repairs to be made I have left the dealership with more damage done to my mustang than there was before. First time was leather on the steering wheel had been torn, and just recently upon getting home from work being done there was curb rash on my rear wheel, and they denied all responsibility and would not even help advise me on where I could even go for repairs to be made. I will not be using this dealer ever again. If you need work done by a ford dealer I would recommend taking a trip to Las Cruces, or El Paso. read more

Absolutely the worst service I have ever gotten. They had my brand new truck for over a week just to tell me there's nothing wrong with it. I scheduled a time to come pick it up and when I got there the battery was dead from it sitting in their lot unmoved for so long. I took our 2019 Ford Explorer that we purchased from Vision Ford in for a recall notice. For this recall our Explorer needed to be inspected to determine if the recall was needed. I dropped it off first thing in the morning and by 4PM nothing was done, so I picked it up. I contacted CASA Ford in Las Cruces and scheduled the same recall service, which they took 15 minutes to determine additional work was not needed. We have been getting our vehicles serviced at Vision Ford for the past 30 years, but now the service terrible and we make a special trip to CASA just to get some great service. read more

I had a warranty part on my car go bad and was told it would take a full week to "diagnose" my car and then 6 weeks to fix it. I had to call the manager to get my car even looked at. It took 3.5 weeks to fix my car. They let it sit for weeks in the weather and wind. When I did get my car back it was disgusting! I asked why they didn't clean cars anymore, the response was "the detail guys left before your car was done" well drive it across the street through the drive threw car wash! Or keep it another day and clean it. The inside smelled like a greasy garage and the dust inside was even ridiculous. My car wasn't spotless when I took it in but this is still unacceptable to return it to me in worse condition than when I left it. read more

Took my truck in with a check engine light...it indicated knock sensor...and I have to reset it 3 or 4 times a day...they ordered a ECM/PCM. The truck is still there 3 weeks later. They gave me a 1800 number to fund out why the part isn't showing up...not sure why I should be doing this...but I did call and now after talking to that person I can no longer reach them as well...no updates no call backs..This dealership need help and customers should go elsewhere read more

We had our truck in for service. We had to take it in several times because they didn't fix the problem. After the third time, they refused to honor the warranty. At one point the truck was in their service department for over 5 weeks. We picked it up and the issue continued. I was I contact with them continuously. They kept saying to take it back which we did. Every time we took it back it came back worse. Now they say they are done and will not honor the warranty. So words of wisdom to you Don't go to Vision Ford in Alamogordo because they don't honor anything they say. They are a disgrace to the Ford family. read more

Took our F250 in to diagnose and repair a turbo issue. They found an actuator was faulty. Agreed on having them replace it for us. The problem arose when they tried to replace the actuator and in turn damaged the turbo itself, presumably because they most likely did not use the proper tool to either disconnect or reconnect the actuator to the turbo. Then they wanted to bill me an additional $5000 to fix the problem they created. Will not be using their services again. read more

I went to Vision Ford Lincoln in Alamogordo to get the battery replaced in my key fob. When someone in the service department replaced the battery the fob would no longer work with my car. Horrible service department, they do not offer "loaners" for a $45,000 car that is under warranty. Parts were ordered for my car and the general manager sent them back because I had to reschedule the appointment being that I had to pay for my own rental while my car could be worked on. Short story, I called the dealership in Las Cruces, they gave me a loaner for two weeks fixed my car and included an emergency kit for free! Vincent the assistant manager sold me a truck that was way out of my price range. I told Vincent I could afford a Max of 30k on a truck and he brought me a truck worth 45k and told me it was 30k I didn't find out until I said all most all the paperwork and when I said I didn't want it he forced me to take it. He wouldn't let me talk to the manager and he lied on the loan application commiting bank fraud in the act I had to call the bank to cancel the loan because he wanted his commission. Avoid this dealership at all costs, sales and service departments. I never write reviews but after multiple bad experiences with this dealer can't help it. SALES - Over a year ago my wife and I were trying to buy a used car from them and we agreed on a price and after they started putting the paperwork together decided to come back and tell us that they needed more money than what we agreed on by 5000. Should have taken that as a sign about business practices and avoided them at all costs. SERVICE - But my truck needed some warranty work performed and they are the only local ford dealership. So I called and scheduled an appointment to have a warranty part replaced, I need my truck for work so I had to schedule a day off as well. I arrived at the service department at the scheduled time only to have the service desk tell me they would need the truck over the weekend and into next week just to look at and determine if they would even perform the warranty and then I would have to schedule another appointment to have the actual work done in the future when they could order the parts. The ford service manual charges 0.4 hrs labor to perform this job. Their technicians are either so incompetent or this dealership is trying to avoid performing any warranty work that they can't accomplish a 0.4 hr job in 4 days or more. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS - they use the most disgusting business tactics and have no respect for their customers or clients. read more

I'm quite surprised that there are no reviews on Vision yet. I was very happy with the customer service that I received. I was not actually looking to purchase a car when I got there. I started looking around and found a 2012 Mustang Coupe Candy Red Metallic. It is a great looking car. Had all of the bells and whistles that made it a great car. Customer Service -Customer service is great. I was greeted by Anthony, a young man with a fervent desire to make sure my needs were met. His ambition and perseverance was great. He really went out of his way to make sure I was getting the car I wanted. Price -Price for the car is 29,500 dealer cost. USAA Recommended purchase price is 31,667.00. This is with the additional options of: Shaker 500 and Comfort Seats. This particular car had a paint additive and tint which came out to an additional 995 in options. The MSRP for the car was 36,000.00 with the additional options came out to 37,000.00. With the price of 37,000 you are looking at approximately $5333.00 more than what is recommended to pay for this car. There is a price guarantee through USAA that you can print out and take to the dealership to show what you should be paying for the car. This will give you some leverage when negotiating a price. After showing them the price I received from USAA we came to an agreement of 33,700.00 for the car. This is $2033.00 more than the recommended price to pay for this car. The average price paid for this car is $33,500.00. My motivation to pay the little extra was to get the car sooner and to support a local business. There was dealership in El Paso willing to go 1300.00 below the recommended price of USAA, but you never really know until you actually go see the dealership. I still chose to go with Vision for their customer service and in support of local business. Post Purchase Customer Service -Vision has been great about getting me what I need after purchasing the car. I noticed on the vehicle that the tint was not up to my standards and asked that they redo the tint. They didn't hesitate in doing it over again and washed the car for me after the tint was complete. Advantages -Great customer service -Great Negotiating Price -Friendly Staff -Determined to find what you are looking for Disadvantages -Limited Inventory: the limited inventory is a disadvantage, because it limits the choices you have for selecting the car you want. The inventory for Mustangs was 2 new and a few used. I was not looking for a used vehicle so I only saw the new Mustang Premium Edition Red Candy Metallic V8 412hp and a White V6 Mustang with around 300hp. So if you were looking for another color or other features you would either have to order it or get it from somewhere else. -Price is marked up very high. In this case the same car was advertised on their website for 32,700.00 and the car on the lot was advertised for 37,000.00. Be sure to do your research. Like with any business they are needing to make money, but you should at least walk away feeling like you got a deal. Most people would say they hate shopping for a car. They would tell you that they hate the haggling and the negotiating and that the dealer is always ready to give it to you the wrong way. I think in most cases that is probably true, however my experience with Vision was quite the opposite. I have purchased a number of cars over the years and this is by far one of the best experiences that I have had when dealing with a dealer. When looking for a car: do your research, find the car you want with all of the options you want and most of all have fun. I can see myself purchasing another car from Vision. It's your typical car dealership with typical car salesmen; trying to get every dollar out of you that they can. You can get a decent deal if you are willing to play the game. For us, that was three days worth of haggling and walking out. The funny thing about them is they act like the internet does not exist. It's such a great tool to use for bargaining for a fair price. Do your research. Know what price is a fair price to pay. Print out that research to take with you, and most importantly, be willing to shop elsewhere. Truth is you can get a better deal in Albuquerque or El Paso if you don't have three days to negotiate a deal. read more

The staff there very responsive, professional and accurate (so many service centers can't get it right the first time). I drove down to the dealership from El Paso to look at a used Hyundai they had listed. When I got to the dealership the owner was in the facility giving away trips to Hawaii, TV's, bonuses and Ipad airs to his employees. After the event we got a salesman, a good guy, retired military and we shared small talk about military life and retirement. Anyhow the car looked great but the trunk wouldn't open and the sales man was typical in trying to convince me that it is under warranty and is an easy fix. I'm sure it is an easy fix, but makes me wonder why it hasn't been fixed and on the lot. Also he had mentioned that his boss has been driving it around I guess for personal use but I ignored it. So as a customer of course we asked for a mark down given the condition of the trunk not opening and the manager seemingly using it for his/her personal use. When the manager came I was instantly shut off and wasn't going to purchase the care because of his condescending tone stressing the market value of the car and in his opinion the audacity of me wanting a lower price because of the defective car. We checked the VIN number of the car and it was a repossessed car for missing a few payments. Seems like the car was partially paid for but the the manager refused to even make an offer lower than the listed price. He spoke for 5 seconds and left. I didn't even want to shake his hand, maybe if he wasn't so condescending I wouldn't take the time to even write a review. I'm sure he could afford a mark down by giving away less trips to Hawaii. read more

I had no issues when it came to buying the vehicle, but once the temp plate had expired. They didn't want to help me. Lawrence was extremely rude. They had a month to send me my plates and they didn't. They also did not want to send me a new temp plate the day before it expired when I had been told they would fax me a new one the day before it expired. DON'T buy a car from here! read more

I went to Vision on 25 October just to see what they had, how much vehicles cost and what kind of Payments I would be looking at if I bought. I did not intend to buy that night. I was pressured into buying a used 2016 Hyundai Tucson. I drove it home that night and to work the next morning. When I got to work my boss discovered a 1 1/2 in crack on the right back bumper. I took it back to Vision and was told they would get it fixed. The salesman called and said they would give me a loaner the next day, Thursday the 27th and that he would get it into Body Masters Friday. It did not happen but he did get it in Monday the 31st of Oct. I was told that I would have it Friday, 4 Nov. and that a Recall on a Latch would also be done. That Friday afternoon I was called and told that Body Masters was still not done with it. I was told Monday, 7 Nov. Today is the 8th and now I am being told they would not be done until Thursday, 10 Nov. I am not holding my breath that it will be ready then. It has been over two weeks since I bought the car. My experience began with Vision Ford, Alamogordo, NM. On 7/27/13 my transmission gave out on a trip to Cloudcroft, NM. Luckily I was close to Vision Ford and was able to limp in for an assessment. Sure enough I needed a whole "new" transmission. They kindly gave me a loaner, stating that my truck would be completed the following week. As I live in El Paso, TX I told them I would not be able to pick up the truck until the following Saturday 3 August 2013. On Wednesday, 31 July 2013, I called Vision to get a status report on my Escape. I was told the vehicle was done and waiting for me. At that point I offered to pay for the service and was charged in full by Vision. When I arrived on Saturday, 3 August 2013, I was informed that my Escape was in fact not ready and wouldn't be until the following week. The service manager gave me another loaner, a $200.00 rebate, and offered to deliver my Escape to my home in El Paso. I finally received the car on 7 August 2013. Flash forward to Saturday 30 July 2016 when my Escape's transmission again gave out again. I delivered the truck to Casa Ford in El Paso, TX on 1 August 2016 along with my 36 month 100% warranty, the original work order, and the 2nd loaner agreement form. Ford stated that my warrant was void since I had paid for the original service on 31 July 2013. Even though it was obvious that the car was not ready, hence the rebate and second loaner vehicle. Any attempts to work with Vision and Casa were met with, "I'm sorry, it's not my fault, " and "I'm sorry, I didn't work here in 2013 so I don't know what happened." I then explained that I had text message and voicemail confirmation that the Escape had broken-down on 30 July 2016, still within the warranty timeframe. This time Casa stated that Ford would not work with me due to the age of the vehicle and it's mileage. The service agent stated that he lowered my cost and gave me a discount on the rental, but I'm still out $2000.00. I will never EVER purchase a Ford product again. read more
