I waited approximately 45 minutes before being seen. When the doctor finally arrived, the examination felt extremely rushed. She did not introduce herself by name, and I felt that she was more focused on getting through the appointment quickly than actually listening to my concerns. She also brought her baby with her, and it appeared that she was trying to rush through my examination so she could attend to her child. The overall experience felt unprofessional and rushed. After waiting 45 minutes and paying $200, I expected a thorough examination, clear communication, and attentive customer service. Instead, I left feeling like my appointment was an inconvenience and that my concerns were not taken seriously. I understand that unexpected situations can happen, but the combination of the long wait, rushed examination, lack of communication, and poor customer service made this a very frustrating experience. For $200, I expected much better care and professionalism & a more in depth conversation about my eyes. HIGHWAY ROBBERY do not go here unless you're willing to spend $400 on a pair of no name glasses. unfortunately i hate to pay that. they service was nice until you need them to pick up the phone. i just picked up my glasses and there's a weird tint. the woman making the sale insisted i get poly when i said i didn't need it, im not sure if that's what's causing this weird clot or the light protector but ive always had that on all my prescriptions and it never looked like this. I'd rather not leave any stars!!!! I went there before Covid 19 shut down the City. I purchased a pair of frames which were a little pricy after learning that I could've purchased them from the manufacture at a fraction of it price. However within a month of purchase, my lenses kept falling from the frame. When they re-opened I informed them of this problem which I am still getting the run around about. I've also asked to get the Dr.'s name and license number, they told me that it will cost me 45$ to get a form filled out with his name and license number. I DON'T NEED THE FORM!!!! I just need his name and license number.... so that I can renew my driver's license on line. I would never return nor would i ever recommend this place to anyone at all!!! As a first time customer I was completely blown away. I went to Vision Quest in distress as my glasses broke and I cant see or work without them. I walked in and they are so friendly, curtious, knowledgeable and the customer service is amazing. I worked with Liz and she immediately found me a frame to fit my lenses, they examined me without an appointment and I ordered a new pair as well. I will always go back and be a loyal customer. I even brought my mom there and the service was just as amazing!! I have been recommending them to all my family & friends. My experience at Vision quest today was superb I walked in and everyone greeted me I was attended by a woman her name is Vivian She explained all my options and I immediately was able to see Dr. Hawasly. I was very satisfied with the exam And I am hard to please when it comes to doctors. This place is absolutely beyond horrible and they are scammers! After waiting for 2 hours they told me the doc is on her way. AND the doctor didnt attend to me the time of my appt because verifying insurence took too long. It only took 15 min and upon finding out my insurence was out of network i offered to pay out of pocket and kept waiting. I called my insurance and turns out they were never out of network! Horrible customer service. I got my current glasses on June 2016 with a one year guarantee. On May 2017, I had broken the left leg of the glasses, so naturally I took them to be fixed. One star because I had to return 6 times and they were racist! The first time, the glasses fell apart when I got home. The second time, the glasses did not even last my the ride home. It seemed like whoever was fixing their glasses did not know how to screw it in correctly. The third time I went, the lady apologized, and said that they did not have the correct screw. She insisted that she could send it to their offices where it will be fix correctly this time in about 2-4 days. I don't really understand why I wasn't told that they did not have my screw earlier; but I decided to once again, leave it up to them. After about a week, my glasses were finally finished even though I was told I would have them back in 2-4 days. If this wasn't bad enough, one of the sales associate was blatantly racist towards me. After picking my glasses up, I thanked them and started walking towards the exit. I stopped when I heard the word "miss"; however, there were other ladies in the room which is why I decided to keep walking. I went for eye exam on Monday morning and the eye doctor arrives late. The 2 Latin hood rats that work there have poor customer service skills. they worry more about ordering breakfast than taking care of waiting customers. when i was not interested in buying their highly overpriced frames and said i wanted frames my insurance covered, they just slammed a small plastic container with 20 or so glasses inside to choose from. they lost interest after i had to tell them 4 times over and over that i would only take frames my union covered. One star because of Iris who made it bearable and was fair enough with us. Went in to get a pair of glasses that the insurance covered. That went fine..again with Iris. We asked her how much it would cost to put regular plastic lenses with Crizal coating in a frame that we had in hand with us and she said $80. We went back to pick up the glasses we ordered and leave the frame for lenses to be put in and Iris wasn't there. Of course Lizzette the so called manager jacked up the prices twice as high. I've been in here before and have not had a good experience with any of the other girls EXCEPT Iris. I am an educated shopper and not easy to be taken for my money. I know my shit. My last pair of glasses had polarized transition lenses with the highest tier of Crizal coating in a Nike sport frame. And I paid for it happily because of the customer service at Metro Optics. Apparently it is common practice to make insurance discrepancies and blame the customer. Oh and lie about it and deny the deposit within solely an hour of the transaction once it was addressed with the employee "Lizette". The so call manager name Joyce very rude and unprofessional. She charged me twice the amount I suppose to paid. I went there on July 5, 2018. Told her I needed glasses because I'm a bus driver. Told her want insurance I had. When I got home I went thur my paper work and seen I was charge too much money. The difference of $399.00. Yup I said it so I went back on Monday with proof. She said Oh I mad because I got the paper in the mail. I told her no I did not. She told me she would not refund me, but can give me another pair for free. I told her it's not free because I paid for them. When I threatened to call my credit card company. She said she don't care who I called, she's not giving me my money back. The first day I entered this business back in April of 2018, I actually thought my needs were going to be met. I was excited that I was finally going to get a pair of new glasses. A huge disappointment and a big let down. A total of $1,685 for poor Customer Service. Charged for services that Vision Quest could not get right the first time and there after. Yes, I disputed charges with my credit card company and won my dispute,well somewhat. Here is the catch....Vision Quest credited my card $933.02, I am still charged $744 for the cost of labor that once again Vision Quest could not get right as I mentioned. Interesting how a consumer can still be charged for services not properly rendered. Did I mentioned I returned glasses due to improper prescription? Yes, I have no glasses, and Vision Quest is asking for 744.51 for there loss in the back and forth of correcting the glasses. Nice Customer Service right? I would really like to give them no stars. What a horrible experience. The women that work there are very rude and nasty. I went there because supposedly they are one of the providers that my insurance covers. They don't explain what frames, lenses, etc is covered. They automatically push you to the designer frames and try to get you what they want. When I refused and said never mind I would go elsewhere I was told i have to pay for the exam since I wouldn't be purchasing anything from them. They really don't know how to treat their customers. I will never go back to them and would steer very clear. What a disappointing experience. BUYER BEWARE! Got an eye exam and took my own personal frames to get lenses put in. I paid for all the extras (thin, scratch resistant, and anti-glare) and picked up my frame a couple of days later. I knew just by looking at them that something was wrong ( I get new glasses every year so I already know how they should feel and look) and asked the woman to verify my prescription and she said it was fine. After a couple of days I still felt uncomfortable with the lenses and took them to another optical store to confirm my suspicion. Vision Quest gave me the cheapest plastic lenses even though I paid a lot of money for the polycarbonate and extras. I'm positive it wasn't a mistake, it was intentional. When I went back the lady insisted I was wrong and even took them to the back to confirm. It wasn't until I told her that I had taken them to another optical store that she said they would change them. I was so disgusted. They are stealing from their customers! Everyone who has had a similar encounter should report them to the Better Business Bureau. read more
