Exceptional Eye Care with Dr. Lomonaco Dr. Lomonaco is truly amazing! My family and I have been coming to her for many years, and every single visit reaffirms why we continue to trust her with all of our eye care needs. She is incredibly caring, patient, helpful, and remarkably knowledgeable. It's rare to find someone who consistently goes above and beyond for their patients, but Dr. Lomonaco does just that. Her staff is equally fantastic--friendly, professional, and always a pleasure to interact with. Even after moving out of the area, we happily make the drive (sometimes over an hour) just to see her. That's how much we value the quality of care she provides. The office is clean, well-maintained, and has enough space for smaller families to feel comfortable during visits. They also offer a great selection of glasses and frames, which makes the process convenient and enjoyable. While parking can occasionally be a challenge (it is The Bronx, after all), it's a small price to pay for such outstanding service. Omg I can't say enough about this doctor. She truly cares about every patient and takes the time to listen to every concern or question. I was having an issue with my contacts and my dry eye, didn't have an appointment, was in the area gave her a call and she took me immediately (unheard of in this day and age). She truly cares about her patients addressed all my concerns and corrected them all. She is a gem in Throggs Neck. I have been going to her now for maybe 2 years, she is very good at what she does, she explains thing to you in a very detailed manner. She has never rushed us and we have never left there not understanding anything. One of the best things is that she is GREAT with kids, she is very patient, and understanding. My son, King, starts to touch a big expensive piece of equipment in the middle of the exam and I'm starting to call his name sharply to say no, and she stops the exam to say it's ok, and explains to him what it is, what it does, and teaches him...... very impressed. She is no doubt a good person, and a great mother. Everytime I have been to her, I feel like it is a friend going to visit a friend. she has a way of making you feel very welcome and at home. I am not one to make appointments, I just stop in and ive never waited, shes just been available. If I had to say a negative thing about her practice, it would be that her glasses selection could be a little bigger, but given the space, I understand. read more

Picked her up right away called the emergency number spoke to Dr. Lomanaco and she said bring her right in with no hesitation. She took care of her of my daughter like her own. It was an awesome experience! This was the first time I have been to this eye doctor. I felt the caring nature of this eye doctor as soon as I met her. She was very thorough and asked many relevant questions. She tested my eyes and allowed me time to respond, and did not rush me. She has a very pleasant manner. Her staff was also very supportive of my efforts to pick out the perfect frame for my features. Both Dr. Claudette Lomonaco and her staff answered all the questions I had and gave me their opinions when I requested them. I have union coverage and there was a whole section of a wall with many kinds of eyeglass frames styles to choose from. There were metal frames and plastic frames of different colors. I found one that I really liked a lot! There were additional eyeglass frames on the other walls, if I wanted to upgrade, but I was happy with the union glasses. I was so happy I came to this doctor for my eye examination and new glasses! In the past, when going to other eye doctors I have been disappointed by their lack of rapport and empathy for their patients. Also other eye doctor's staff have sometimes been abrupt and rude. Not the case at Throggs Neck Vision associates, Dr. Lomonaco and her staff are the greatest! I highly recommend them ! read more
