    Bad customer service, bad attitudes, bad hours. Beware you will pay out of pocket for your exam despite having insurance. Don't go.

    I spent well over $500 on one pair of glasses. I did get in the day I went online requesting an…read moreappointment. Went through a quick "eye exam" then began talking w/an employee of my options. This young gal seemed to know her selling spiel, but she also shared a tad much with me of her personal life. All seemed to go smoothly UNTIL I went to pick up my new glasses. I chose bifocals with a simple black frame. The lenses were to darken when approaching sunlight or brightness. All seemed wonderful but... ...slowly over perhaps 4 to 6 months, a strange film began showing (or diminishing/peeling?) from both lenses. It was on the inside of both lenses only, not the outside of lenses. Both lenses also began this odd occurrence from each inner lens nearest to the nose bridge, in a curved arc. I could take a fingernail, gently scratch this weird "film" and could see my scratch, yet I could NOT remove ANY of this odd "coating". If anyone else has had this happen to their expensive indoor/outdoor glasses from Stanton Optical, please do share. Thank You

    On 3/3/26 I took my son into Stanton Optical to get new glasses and it was an evening appointment…read moreand there were two people working, Lina, one of the managers and another girl. When it came time to purchase the glasses, I wanted to get the true-blue added to his main pair of glasses since he is a student and gamer. We were there to do the $79.99 deal and I happen to see the discount for their insurance on the screen when she was putting in the discount for the lens. I didn't even realize Stanton Optical took their insurance. Lina had to manually calculate it, and it was going to cost more than just buying the 2 pairs for $79.99. The system had went down and a discount that was supposed to come off for the lens wasn't coming off so Lina called support and they were having issues as well so she told me that she would give me a call when she figured it out because it was close to closing time. When she called, she left a voicemail and said that they could not add the true-blue and the total was $79.99. The next day during my lunch break I went back up to pay for them, and another manager, Jonathan, was working. I asked why I wasn't able to get the true-blue on them and he called Lina to ask and I could hear her through the phone saying "Good luck she probably can't afford it anyways." I sat there surprised, hurt, confused. What did I do to make her think that I couldn't afford his glasses? I couldn't stay any longer because I was on my lunch break for work and I was already over my time. Jonathan figured out that, in order for the true blue coating to be added, the discount needed to be changed to the Bogo option that was $139.99. Which was totally fine but had I known that I would have brought him back up to look and see if there were any other pairs that he liked instead of the ones he chose since there is a lot larger selection instead of being stuck with the 79.99 frames. I do not appreciate being profiled and discriminated against thinking I was broke and I wouldn't be able to afford the glasses. Since coming to Stanton in December 2024, I have purchased 9 pairs of glasses that have costed me over 600 dollars and only ONE pair was purchased using insurance. It truly is crazy and sad because I would NEVER walk into Stanton Optical and look her pregnant stomach and think "I bet her baby daddy left her and she's about to raise her kid by herself". All because I asked about their insurance. I am very disappointed because this situation should have never been a situation. If Lina is saying this about me, I can only imagine what she is saying about her patients that do in fact use their children's insurance.

Dr. Phillips went through options that had never even been suggested to me and gave me something new to try. She also corrected my vision that was "up to date" or "accurate" according to the original doctor I was seeing. I was also having issues with my glasses, and the optician was incredibly helpful in figuring out alternative solutions and bringing my lenses up to date with current technology and improvements. I would recommend Lifetime Eyehealth Associates to anyone and wish I had made the switch sooner!

Shea helped me pick out glasses and made it a lot easier than I expected. I only gave three stars because this place is super expensive! I've worn contacts/glasses for almost 30 years and have never paid so much for them. They also charged me $40 for my follow up appointment for my contacts which was really strange to me. I probably won't be back due to their prices, which is unfortunate because they have such an excellent staff.
