Another exceptional visit & project well executed from iCustom Oakridge Mall!!…read more Since we decided to do a very last minute and impromptu trip to SoCal's Universal Studios, iCustom was the only option in satisfying my custom ideas|dreams. Our arrival was met with multiple groups of people already waiting to be helped. Don't let this discourage you, the staff works pretty quickly. Depending on how intricate the order is, the wait may be longer but I appreciate the staff not rushing customers. My advice is coming in with some screenshots of what you are in need of. The employees will give their own recommendations and adjustments that would ensure a beautifully made product. Cost is pricey but fair! Project can typically done within a day or so. These guys work quickly!! 5/5 stars. Our tees came out great and our whole group coordinated well for our Universal trip. The star details on the design were left out but the finished product was still very pretty. RANDOM TIP: I find handwashing our tees adds longevity to the print.

BEFORE YOU PAY, CHECK THE POSTED PRICE BOARD AND CONFIRM YOUR PRICE…read more 1/5 -- I DO NOT RECOMMEND iCustom at Oakridge Mall I gave iCustom multiple chances because our first few experiences were actually good. In the beginning, they took the time to work with us, go over the designs, sizing, placement and colors, and make sure everything was right. Unfortunately, as we became returning customers, the experience completely changed. By our fourth order, I felt like we were being rushed out instead of receiving the same attention we received in the beginning. Rather than sitting down and confirming every design, they acted like they already knew what we wanted. That resulted in problems throughout an order of around 15 shirts. There were misspellings, changes to my logo/design, inconsistent shades of green and red, front and back designs that didn't match, different font sizes, different logo sizes, inconsistent placement, and other issues. This wasn't one small mistake on one shirt. I continued finding problems as I went through the order. I purchased the blank shirts myself from another store for about $15 each, so even though iCustom eventually refunded what I paid them for printing, I was still left with roughly $200+ worth of my own clothing that had already been printed incorrectly. Another issue I believe customers should pay VERY close attention to is pricing. During my own visits, I personally received different quotes for bringing in my own clothing. On my first visit, I remember being quoted around $35. When I said I wasn't paying $35 because I was supplying my own shirts, the price came down to $25 and eventually $18. On another visit, I was quoted around $40 until I pointed out that I had previously paid $18. Later, after noticing the posted pricing board in the store, I was charged $15. I've also personally been present when other customers brought in their own clothing and asked about pricing, and I heard different prices being quoted to different people. That's why I strongly recommend that anyone shopping here LOOK AT THE POSTED PRICE BOARD YOURSELF BEFORE AGREEING TO A PRICE. Don't assume the first number you're verbally quoted is automatically the posted store price. Ask questions, confirm exactly what you're paying for, and get the price settled before handing over your clothing. As a business owner myself, consistency and transparency are extremely important to me. A customer shouldn't have to negotiate their way through multiple different prices to figure out what they're supposed to be paying. We also contacted customer support about the problems with our order. We explained what happened, but we never received the follow-up we expected, and I never heard from the manager. A returning customer should receive the SAME care and respect as a first-time customer. You shouldn't become less attentive because someone continues bringing you business. In the end, this situation became a blessing in disguise because it pushed me to find another print shop charging around the same amount, but the experience is night and day. The new shop actually has us sit down at a table. We go through every shirt and design. We discuss exactly how big the print should be, where it should go, what colors we want, and which graphic belongs with which clothing item. They organize everything before printing. If we don't have a finished graphic, they'll even work with us to create one. THAT is how custom printing should be handled. After experiencing the difference, I personally will not be returning to iCustom at Oakridge Mall and cannot recommend this location based on my experience. MY BIGGEST ADVICE: READ THE POSTED PRICE BOARD, CONFIRM YOUR PRICE BEFORE PAYING, AND MAKE THEM VERIFY YOUR SPELLING, COLORS, SIZE AND PLACEMENT BEFORE THEY PRINT ANYTHING. Your clothing costs money. Your brand represents you. Once something is printed incorrectly, a refund for the printing doesn't necessarily replace the clothing that was ruined. I learned that lesson the expensive way. The big guy excuse is he works a lot. We all work a lot. That's life . That don't mean treat people less or work lazy !

The quality of their work is excellent, and some of the shirts they made for me years ago are still in great condition today. I've tried a few other companies in the past, and in my opinion, they don't even come close to the quality and service I get from Graphic Effect. Edgar, the owner, is always very responsive, professional, efficient, and easy to work with. He gets everything done in a timely manner, and he always makes sure the finished product comes out looking right. Their pricing is also very reasonable, especially for the quality of work they provide. They're conveniently located in the North Valley area of San Jose, near Independence High School. If you're looking for custom T-shirts, company uniforms, hoodies, hats, sports apparel, event shirts, or anything custom printed for your business or personal use, I highly recommend giving Graphic Effect a call. I've trusted them with my company apparel for years, and they've never disappointed me. Great quality, great service, and great people. Definitely a five-star business in my book!

When searching online not many places do embrodiery on driver caps or they were overpriced. I inquired online and got in contact with the owner Edgar. I came to the shop with the driver cap that I had purchased on Amazon and the owner Edgar said they would be able to do it for which I was excited about and for a good price. I'm so glad I was found Graphic Affect to help me out. Edgar provided his recommendations on the font, color, and design to make the names show up nicely. DO NOT WORK WITH THE SHADY VENDOR!!! I don't often write reviews, I am writing this to save others…read morefrom my terrible experience. If I could give them less stars I would. So many things wrong with this shady business that I will have to number them. Expensive, terrible quality and shady business practices. I worked with Deen who seemed to be responsive and above board until there were difficulties with my order 1. First, they are not in San Jose, when I finally received my package it was in a dinged up box from Pakistan. I thought I was buying locally, but when I asked to come into the store I was given the run around that it was no longer in San Jose, but somewhere in Burlingame and I was strongly discouraged to come into the shop. That should have been my first clue. 2. I paid $2000 for 32 baseball jerseys which I was purchasing for my son's Marine platoon. I was required to pay upfront and when I asked what if something was wrong, I was assured that they would rectify anything that wasn't perfect. My bad for believing them, don't ever pay in full upfront. 3. Worst of all was the quality of the shirts. I had purchased one for myself, by husband and my other son as well and, thank goodness, I washed them before I sent the rest to Japan. There was white crud all over the shirts because the backing on the decals had not been removed. When I sent pictures I was told they had used a new vendor to make them and would remake them with the new vendor. Wanting my son's team to get the shirts by the time they arrived back in Okinawa from deployment, I spent 20 minutes per shirt painstakingly removing the backing, not perfect, but better than nothing. There were other issues as well: Poorly made button holes, loose threads everywhere, glue where it shouldn't be. 4. After sending a lot of pictures of the poor quality I was told they would remake the order with the new "better vendor". I have been calling every week for the last 3 months and they have been telling me they were waiting for the decals, or they had to change vendors again, etc. I opened my email this morning to an email from them saying that they are unable to remake my order because they cannot make it any better. In conclusion, if I had it to do over again I would absolutely not purchase from NBN Sports. They do terrible work and are completely shady.

Avoid NBN Sports - they are scammers. Earlier this year, I…read morepurchased basketball uniforms through NBN Sports and worked with Deen. He promised delivery dates, and while the first shipment came on time, it was completely wrong. He offered to fix it, but that's when everything went downhill. Shipments kept coming incorrect, double orders were sent, items were missing, and the product was still not what I had ordered. After months of back-and-forth -- with our basketball season already in its final weeks -- we finally received everything. In the meantime, I had to spend thousands of dollars just to give my team something to wear for tournaments because NBN failed to deliver. I lost a lot of money and NBN did nothing to make it right. Despite all this, my rep tried his best and eventually got the first order finished. Then he called and said, "Let me show you we can make it right." Against my better judgment, I gave them another chance. This time I ordered branded clothing and custom-designed shorts. I received samples (not perfect, but close enough), so I placed another large order in June -- spending thousands of dollars again. Since then, I have received nothing. No product, no refund, no communication. Deen has since left the company, likely because of how poorly management operates. Before he left he assured me the refund would happen but given management he was ignored as well. Guy Irmy has refused to pay me back. I've been told he was instructed not to communicate with me and to simply ignore me until I went away. Meanwhile, NBN keeps the money. At this point, I've had to get a lawyer involved and would welcome anyone else who has been scammed by them to join in legal action. They also run under different business names, which I'll add here later. Do not do business with NBN Sports. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and exploit their customers. I would post picture of their work but have nothing

When it came time to order graduation stoles, I knew exactly who to go to. I needed 12 graduation stoles embroidered, each with different wording. Although his shop is small and tucked away off the side of the road, don't let that fool you. Cam is incredibly genuine, detail-oriented, and takes pride in his work. He asked plenty of questions to make sure he fully understood what I wanted and even created a quick mock-up when I dropped off the stoles so we could visualize the final product. During the embroidery process, he also called to confirm the wording and placement one last time to ensure everything came out exactly as I envisioned. His turnaround time was quick, and he called as soon as everything was ready for pickup. I would recommend bringing your stoles to him as early as possible during graduation season since he has many orders to complete. I paid half upfront when dropping off the stoles and the remaining balance when I picked them up. The embroidery only costed me between $12-20 per stole depending on what was embroidered. The embroidery itself was excellent. The stitching was clean, professional, and didn't warp or distort the fabric at all. Even the backing was trimmed neatly, so it wasn't uncomfortable to wear. Overall, I highly recommend Cam's embroidery services, especially for graduation stoles. He's located just a couple of miles from the SJSU campus, making him a convenient option for students looking for high-quality custom stoles at about a fraction of the price of what the university charges.
