I had wanted to get my lip blush done for a while, but was very particular about where I would go as I had read some disaster stories. I did my research and found R & R and then had a consultation with Angelica. I had seen her portfolio on their website and on her Instagram and loved the photos. We talked about what my goals were, what shade I thought I'd like, what I didn't like about my lips ans all other things related to a big decision. My first session with her was great. I am one of the unfortunate people that has a bit of a lopsided mouth so we corrected it with the lip blush. It wasn't painless, but she did her best to make it as comfortable for me as possible. I was thrilled with the results. After six weeks, I went back for a touchup to do the final corrections. It takes a while for the color to bloom and you do have to go through healing first which basically feels like bad chapped lips. Her aftercare instructions were great and she was available by phone anytime. I also had eyebrow threading done which I'd never had before. It blows waxing out of the water. It really doesn't hurt and it leaves such a good feeling on your skin. Totally different than waxing. I went ahead and did the whole face, including the lip and chin. I'm thrilled with the results!! I am considering doing my eyebrows in the future. They also do piercings and conventional tattooing at this women owned and run salon. The place is clean nicely decorated and the staff are all lovely. Five stars!

I was fine with the $115 piece and the $50 cost of the service (although that itself is too pricey for the area) Add a bit on for tax. Tell me why this one piercing is gonna cost me ~$240 instead of $165??? As soon as this was mentioned it felt so scammy. After I've already gotten the piercing done I was then informed that I will have to come back, pay for another backing and pay for another service, and this is mandatory. The backing should be included in the price of the jewelry. If you're going to up-charge, tell the person BEFORE they get the piercing done. $165 was already a very high price for a single piercing with cubic zirconia. To then tack on $75 in hidden fees? So not cool. Could be one of those places that opens up, gets bad reviews, so closes and moves somewhere else to get a fresh slate. Especially since I'm the first reviewer.
