1st time I get in, I got two amazing good looking glasses Buy 1 Get 1! I was in a rush they matched my pace I appreciated them for that. (Busy working mom) My SECOND TIME GOING IN! Oh my gosh where do I start. I lost my Grandaddy. So I ended up keeping a few things. His very thick prescription glasses were one of the items. I was very nervous and embarrassed to call and ask VisionWorks if they could help me take out his glasses and change them into sunglasses (sorry for my run-on sentence) When I called I was treated so kindly, Ms Edie helped me by double checking what I wanted. She offered to put some "Demo lenses" in. I was ecstatic that they were willing to work on a frame that didn't come from them. I drive up there tell a Mr Jacob what was said on the phone, I didn't even need to finish my explanation (insert tears here) they were all aware of what I requested and were waiting for me to arrive. They asked me what colors I would like I really didn't know I said black/brown. I asked them how much this would cost and they shook their heads and said "at no charge this time". So I leave before I cry in the store. I'm beyond grateful. I get back a few hours later and they are ready, another man Mr John helped me to adjust the frames to fit my face a bit more. And I tried them on and here I go crying in VisionWorks. I can't even describe how much this touched my heart. I miss my Grandaddy terribly. But this store has helped me with my grieving process and I'm sure there aren't many stores that can hold that title. Sending ALL of my Love and Thankfulness. read more

Wife wanted her Christmas present, so we ventured out to Visionworks because she got her current glasses from there in Maryland. Spent two hours looking at different frames and JACOB H. was very helpful in helping her select some funky glasses. She asked the opinions of others, but he was very knowledgeable and professional in helping her out. Thanks for all your help Jacob. If your there next year, we'll be back for some sun glasses. Coming from New York and with NYS insurance, I was worried about getting new glasses and contacts in Fayetteville. I called prior to my appointment and Jacob looked into my coverage to give me the information I needed. Once I got there, it was again Jacob who made sure I was being helped; he saw me try on probably 50 frames and struggle narrowing it down, so he came over and patiently offered his advice. Thanks to his help, I have an awesome new pair of statement frames that fit my face and personality! Jacob also went over several financial options with me to make sure I was getting the most affordable deal for my specific situation. When I picked up my frames, a woman with a brown bob haircut whose name I did not catch took so much time adjusting my glasses so they sat properly on my face. I appreciate that so much - frames tend to be loose on me but her diligence has mine fitting perfectly. Overall, this was an excellent experience and I'm so grateful to the whole team. read more

I was in denial when I was told I needed bifocals. My first pair of glasses I bought at AAFES three years ago. They were OK. Service was OK. Second time I bought glasses online at Zenni. They were cheap but I didn't like the online buying experience. Last week I got a new prescription and knew I had to the do the dreadful task of finding new frames. I walked into Visionworks wanting some Coach frames because those where the kind my friend had and they fit me well. Sheila informed me they did not carry Coach. I told her how much I hated shopping for frames because I felt nothing fit my face and I really wanted the Coach frames. She assured me she could help me find something I liked. Sheila went above and beyond to find frames that suited my face and also my personality. I had such a great time shopping for my new frames. Sheila gave me her 100% attention during the entire process. She was very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Thank you Sheila. You are definitely an asset to that store. They promise my eye contacts in a week and when they call me to pick them up and I get there they only have it for one eye like am a Damn pirate. These people need to be specific when they calling people around I take time out of work to go here for nothing and still don't have the contacts one week two days and waiting. The people at Visionworks were all very knowledgeable and eager to help the customers. Within seconds of walking through the door I was greeted and offered assistance. As someone who has worn glasses for over 20 years, it was nice to have people so willing to help. Since I have a specific preference to my frame's shape Jacob was able to help me find exactly the right pair within fifteen minutes. We pulled different colors and materials to narrow it down to the right pair. I had overheard other customers, first-time glasses wearers, speaking about their desire to find exactly the right frames for them. Their employee was patient and explained the different options clearly to them. Each concern they had was handled with care and clarity. I highly recommend Visionworks! read more

I called Vision Works today to schedule an appointment. I wasn't sure if I had VSP insurance and had no way to get that information so I called Vision Works twice asking the representative if they could check to see if I had coverage so I could go get glasses at there location. Both times I was told essentially to figure it out myself and was offered absolutely no help from the representative. If that's how the service is at this location BEFORE you get there I can only imagine what it's like when your there. No thanks! There are plenty of other places I can spend my money. read more

After a bad experience from another office, I went into Visionworks looking for a new pair of glasses. I was immediately greeted and assisted by Lisette. I was so impressed with how she actively listened to my concerns. She was able to pick out a handful of glasses. I always have great customer service at Visionworks. If they're busy the wait time is not that long at all compared to many eye wear stores. In fact, it's probably the best store in Fayetteville. Every employee is friendly and attends to customers as soon as they can. read more

Large selection of kids frames. It is in a convenient location, right next to an optometrist. 2 pairs of kids glasses for $99. Left off a star only because the staff, although friendly, seemed a bit scattered. Nothing that would keep me from going back though. read more

Vision works is amazing! I took my son here to get his eyeglasses after a less than desirable experience with the eye doctor and Kathleen made the entire experience nice and easy! She was extremely knowledgeable about our insurance and was an absolute pleasure to work with! Edie assisted when we went back to pick the glasses up and she was also a pleasure to work with. Don't be fooled by their sales promotions. They advertised 2 pair for 150. (new ad says 2 for $89.) I ordered the $150 deal and the sales clerk said she never heard of those sales and the cheapest she could do was $358.00! Two weeks later the stem piece fell off (just like the 2 pairs I got there last year) so I got out the 2nd pair and when I gently cleaned the lenses, one fell right out! Boy did I GET SCREWED. When I sent them e-mail, they wrote back "Sorry for the Inconvenience." They didn't hold up to their ad, they double charged me and the glasses fell apart. Don't think I'll be going back there again. read more

Multiple visits w/ complaints, everyone is always very nice but the fact is that the glasses are not satisfactory and despite several visits I can say I see better with my old glasses and use them for relief from the new ones, ironic isn't it? Prescription has been checked and verified, 7 year old glasses work better. I guess I am out over $500.00 dollars for my BOGO offer. Some savings! Everyone is sure it is the other party at fault (doctor v Visionworks/Visionworks v doctor). Not worth the aggravation, time and especially the money. Hope I'm not wearing these glasses while trying to find another place to have my prescription done correctly. I may never find the place from all the blurred and distorted images I see. read more

Nice selection, however they are not affiliated with a local eye doctor. You can not get exams there, you have to go next door. I am a regular patient with the eye doctor next door, however when you file you vision insurance, it tends to require you paying out of pocket since the doctor and VisionWorks do not bill together. Do not be fooled by the sign on their large glass window that says Optometrist, or the fact that they claim they do eye exams on their webpage. They do not. Please check with you insurance prior to visiting their office if you plan on getting your exam and purchasing their materials. read more
