In the past, I've always felt like a number at optometry offices, which is why I don't have an optometrist that I see regularly. Healthcare has become an area that is more about quantity rather than quality..however, seeing Dr. Nguyen was completely different. Her office is welcoming and very hip! It was so easy to vibe with her and speak openly about my past vision problems. She took the time to explain my vision health and answered all of my questions. They were all super friendly and welcoming As a new patient, I had no problems with the paperwork and insurance. I called ahead of time to make sure that my insurance would cover the visit, and she went above and beyond and called the insurance company herself! Overall, I was in and out of my exam in less than 30 minutes! Definitely possible during your lunch break, or a quick stop while running errands. Dr. Nguyen answered all of my questions regarding my eye care and health. She even used pictures to help explain what was going on with my eyes. She has been my optometrist for the last 6 or 7 years but it been like 4 years since I last visited. It was my fault but after doing my yearly physical, my primary doctor told me to go do my eye exam. I made an appointment and arrived early. I was able to find parking easily, I remember before it could be a hassle. My eye sight changed from the last time I did an eye exam here so I needed to get new prescription lens. I still like my Oakley frame so I prefer to keep using that one. So I had to get it sent out so they can put new lens on it. Make sure to have backup prescription glasses because it can take 2 or 3 weeks to be completed. Keep in mind that if you pay credit card there is a fee so try paying cash or having your debit card on you.

Brenda at the front desk is fabulous--as is the wonderful optometrist I had the pleasure of receiving my eye exam from (I wish I got her name but she is a younger woman and had super cute circular glasses frames!). I expressed to the doctor that my previous prescription I received 4+ years ago from an entirely different doctor (under insurance) felt a bit too strong, and it had felt strong ever since I got those glasses. After doing some tests, she proceeded to tell me that my previous prescription was for astigmatism...I definitely don't have astigmatism lol. No idea how that happened, but this doctor was able to adjust my new prescription right away. I even got to see the retinal scan/images that were taken of my eyes and it was fascinating! I had never been shown that before from any other doctor. Overall, the appointment was quick and easy, and the staff is very nice and attentive. For $95 (no insurance), it was well worth it! Will absolutely be coming to this location again in the future. No complaints--thank you! :)

The worst experience I have had in 25 years of wearing glasses…read more Not only did I have to wait over an hour for a scheduled appointment, but Dr Katzaroff gave me a prescription that was so off, I couldn't read at all. I scheduled another appt. with him and again had to wait almost an hour. The second prescription was as bad as the first. Since then, I've left several messages trying to resolve this, but he has not returned my calls. I am now out several hundred dollars and I am starting all over with a more competent optometrist. BTW, when I told my daughter this story I found out that she too had a HORRIBLE experience with DR. K and wound up having to go to another optometrist for a new prescription. Lastly, if after reading this you are foolish enough to go there, wear a snow suit. He keeps his office at near arctic temperatures. When I asked him why it was so cold, he answered it was the only way he could keep himself awake. I think it's not working. Dr. K is asleep at the switch.

I had Dr. Hair who has a lovely demeanor. I had to do my prescription twice because my eyes weren't adjusting to first prescription. Plus I tend to talk a lot, LOL! So... distracting the doctor. I have to work on that. Costco validates go another hour over what is allotted at Westfield for parking. Always make sure you have a paper ticket before exiting and mind the time. Check to make sure they take your insurance.

The front staff are so nice and welcoming. Hailey was amazing, efficient and very helpful. Dr. Frisch has an extensive resume of education, training and many years of experience in his field. He is very thorough with his exams, explains everything in detail and also has the best personality! He is kind, warm and genuinely loves what he does and cares about his patients.
