I have been going here for eye exams and contacts and glasses for years. I recently ran out of contacts and need to get an eye exam. They informed me that the optometrist is now remote. Since I have a cataract developing, I need a live optometrist to monitor its development and let me know when to see an opthomologist for a consult. The receptionist told me, "oh, you"ll know when to go. My dad was told he would just know when his vision is bad enough." Huh? Should a receptionist be giving advice like this from a professional optometry business? I asked if I could get an extension for a month or two on my contacts and she refused to even ask the optometrist on staff. When I asked her for my prescription she was trying to mislead me until I informed her that my records belong to me. So she printed out my prescription and wrote in large red letters "this prescription has expired. Do not fill it"" I told her my daughter gets her contacts over the internet with needing a yearly eye exam. This company hates its patients. Period. She had nothing to offer except rudeness and lack of concern Oh and their robot that answers the phone is really ridiculous. She used to go on and on answering questions you didn't even ask. 5 minutes of monologue from her when all you need to know is what time is my appointment. At least that's better. Now she says things like". I can help you schedule an appointment. Oops something has gone wrong. Please call back later. No I will get an agent to help you". Are you kidding me?. I will say that the optometrists I've seen there over the years have been wonderful and the products have been fantastic. But what's going on there now is heartbreaking. read more

Horrible. The lady tried charging us full price for glasses and the exam. Which insurance covers. Come to find out she never installed the insurance. "DO YOU EVEN HAVE INSURANCE" was her response after I asked if she put it on there. She made a profile with the wrong dob blaming the insurance making duplicates. But we saw her make one of her own. Left with no glasses or contacts because they needed to call us back. WHAT WHY?? THATS WHY WE CAME HERE BECAUSE I NEED TO SEE. HORRIBLE ! on top of that she gave us attitude and was rude. People make mistakes but don't take it out on us for messing up. read more

I have never left one star for a rating in my life. I would have gone lower if Yelp gave us a zero option. Two days ago the company sent me a survey and I gave them high marks even though my wife and I spent more than 2 and a half hours in the store for a routine exam and frame selection. They were having system issues with a new system. Our separate receipts seemed off. My wife's should have been only $35 more than mine and it was almost $100 more. When I went back they said it because her frames were more. I said they were only $70. The associate rang them up for $100. I walked over, grabbed the frames from the shelf and showed the associate the $70 price tag. Then she said oh sorry we just got new tags and these are priced wrong. Then she spent another 20 minutes to tell me that the real reason was because they put my eye exam under someone else's insurance. So they didn't charge me for my co/pay. So in order for her to give me back my difference for the frames that they mis-priced they were going to charge me for my co-pay which was more than the difference. Outrageous customer service. My wife and I have been coming here for 3 years. Never again. Hours of our time wasted for them to turn around and charge us more money for their mistake. I tried calling several times to discuss the error I cannot even get past the automated system. No one answers the phone. Such a waste of time and frustrating experience. read more

Came her for a routine contact exam. I've been wearing contacts since age 13. I made an appointment with ease. They also take my insurance. I was bombarded with upgrade solicitation from the moment I sat down. $12, $39, $ 39-69 fees in excess to what my excellent insurance covers. I have had an eye exam yearly for 20 years and never have I been forced to pay for a contact fitting. What is a cheap bract fitting anyway? It's not like your going to cut the contact to fit me personally. The lady was rude by keep going back and forth to her manager because I questioned the process. Finally I left. The manager looked down as I walked out and did not even say a word. I expect more from a big box chain. Update: although I didn't keep the appointment they placed an authorization on my insurance. Now I have to jump through hoops to get an appointment somewhere else. This seems like the insurance fraud to me. Not happy. read more

Great place to get glasses! 2 pairs for 75.00 plus an eye exam and tinting for sunglasses came to 169.00 for both pairs. How reasonable is that! First time buying glasses and I am very happy! The business overall was quite professional and knowledgable for my first visit. They gave you a fair amount of time to look around before asking if you needed any help. In particular, Melissa was really helpful in giving advice concerning style, color, options for purchasing frames and lenses and was willing to hold glasses for some time before I made a final decision. I brought my prescription from my Dr. The staff was very friendly. I worked with Veronica. She was soo friendly and she explained things good so I could understand what I was buying. It was alittle pricey but was cheaper than Lenscrafters and I got 2 pairs. I love my glasses. I gave a 3 because the store manager was really fake and wouldn't leave us alone. I would go back if I knew I didn't have to deal with her. read more
