It was an hour before I was seen by a tech to the pre-test. My mother chatted with the tech who informed her that this location is short staffed. As a business owner, I am not upset that there is a wait or that it was caused by low staffing. I understand this. What I'm pissed about right now is that no one in this facility mentioned the egregious wait to me and my family. I do not have time to sit a doctors office waiting on a an exam for over an hour without notice. I should have been advised the moment I walked in that the appointments are running significantly later than schedule. I am TIRED of businesses in the Atlanta metro area treating their customers like their time is not valuable. To be clear, everyone was friendly and helpful with regard to the services and this is not a review of the services --- but NO ONE acknowledged that they had people waiting in here for an hour and half to be seen. This alone earned this location 1 star for me. I will opt for an entirely different optometry office not associated with this chain next time. UPDATE: After waiting nearly 2 hours, someone by the name of Ms. Graves came out and apologized for the wait. I told her that an apology is not enough for a 2 hour wait that no one warned everyone about. She made excuses as to why they didn't notify us. Then she invited me to reschedule. Now what customer service manager would tell someone who waited for 2 hours that they should then come back and waste their time again? When I said no I was going to just do my exam since I wasted 2 hours already, she said "well for everyone else you all should go look for your glasses". Like I was crazy for complaining and every other person who was quietly letting them disrespect their time was welcome to look at their frames. Ultimately I left WITHOUT AN EXAM because I didn't have anymore time to waste and didn't want to spend any money with this establishment. Please train the staff to handle the significant delays better. It's disrespectful and you ought to be ashamed!

I brought in a new set of glasses and only needed to lens put in them and I chose their BOGO buy One get One Free, Plus Free eye exam promotion that includes their Frame and lens. In my purchase I included one of the best lens and all the bells and whistles they had to offer, knowing that my second pair would have the same. This is where things got bitter... on my second FREE pair half the amount of the first pair was added. The agent stated that any additional services was not covered. All the additional services was paid on the first pair and should have been covered in the buy one get one free promotion. To make a long story short I told the agent that Stanton Optical is using a form of Advertisement scams using Deceptive Claims to draw customers in their store. They also claim same day services and then make an excuse what they can't have it ready the same day. This kind of business should be avoided at all cost! *** After discussing my situation with a manager, we were able to reach a fare agreement. I respect a company that is able to make adjustments to keep a customer and Stanton Optical in one of those companies.
