I had my friend of 32 yrs located at this facility, the facility itself was spacious and clean. What I have to say about the facility, is that the Administration team was great with working with us when it was time to transfer our loved one, they stepped up for us because we were doing something they had never done before. The patients brothers flew out to get their sister back home so they could manage her care closer to them. We needed to transfer the patient from Los Angeles all the way to Falmouth Massachusetts by plane and this was no easy task for the condition the patient was in, but they helped make it happen and for that we are truly grateful. Anytime you have loved one in any facility you have to commit to doing your part. This was a trying time and The Administration team was there to make the difficult transfer happen. The family member is now at another facility near her brothers in her home State Massachusetts safe and sound. Seacrest is okay for patients with certain needs. The day to day staff does a good job and are very caring . This includes the RN's, LVN's, CNA's, office help, custodial staff and the physical/occupational therapists. The negatives are the dingy atmosphere, the system of handling medical situations and the staff doctors (who are hardly ever present) and try their hardest to avoid making contact with relatives of patients who are worried about their loved ones. These doctors (with the exception of the wound care doctor) imo are just collecting an extra paycheck as a supplement to their offsite independent practice. read more

We love our Seacrest family. Always blessed to visit everyone. The care here is the best. My mom is taken care of, and my big sis needed short-term care, too. God willing, many more happy visits with mom. Can't say enough about the Seacrest family. They all do an excellent job caring for the patients. It's not an easy job by far taking care of the sick and elderly. My review was removed. So now I am posting again, but I'll be sugar coating my review. My dear friend Pam, 98yrs old, spent 2 weeks here. She hated it, and so did I. She was constantly ignored. They wanted to charge $600 per day for her to be there. (a measly $18,000 per month if she wanted to be a longterm resident). This place was an absolute mess. Alarms constantly went off (indicating a resident needs help in their room) and no one seemed to care. When Pam was finally set to leave, an ambulance arrived to transport her to a new facility. But the employees didn't want to let Pam leave because THEY failed to prepare her discharge papers on time. read more

Please don't come to this place for rehabilitation. The worse place for someone to try to get rehabilitated before going home. Just stayed there, and I wouldn't wish this place on anybody. No pharmacy available for pain killers or any type of medicine for at least 2 days. The system is broken between the hospital, this hell hole and the pharmacy they contract. More than 1 patient I witnessed in pain for hours!!! Lack of staff. When you call, don't expect any type of response (even if you need supervision to use the bathroom) they don't provide it. Very few workers (counting them with one hand and 2 fingers are the most hard working and efficient CNA. Food is lousy and I bet anything they don't have a nutritionist to work with patients (anytime you need a person from a discipline they tell you they are on vacation" This place commits so many violations. I am shocked they are opened and not shut down! I feel for the patients unable to self-advocate for themselves or with no relatives to advocate for loved ones! Nurses hired through registry are clowns!! Patients have gotten the wrong prescription (if one does not inquire as to why one's medicine looks different). Observed by the patient to be watching tv and talking in a foreign language (African) and joking around while dispensing medicine in quantity VERSUS dispensing medicine per each patient!! Be Careful! Always check your medicine!! This Hell Hole should be closed down! read more

We entrusted my husband's care with Seacrest and had a wonderful experience. The staff treated him like family and gave quality care. The administrator was always helpful and willing to take time with any concern. The office staff was supportive of our needs and helped accommodate our children visiting later in the afternoon after school. Our father began living here in the spring. He is cognitively present with his sense of wit, intelligence, knowledge of day-to-day politics and sports, etc. ; but wheelchair bound. Fortunately, under their staff caring and warm people, my dad is doing well staying stimulated. Emma and Norma have generously taken care of his childrens' special requests. Carmelita, Shaylene, and Cecile make us always welcome. José, plus Shirley and Carlo in the activity room are enthusiastic and kind. I only wish that the grounds were larger. We have visited often and the facility is always clean and the workers always positive. Now, a turn for the worse. Dad confused and disoriented. However, the lovely staff is kind, patient, and positive. read more

It is more than difficult to leave a loved one in someone else's hands. Especially in this pandemic situation . And I was unsure to say the least. However, Cindy and her skilled caregivers took excellent care of my Mom. I was made to feel welcome and at ease in this situation and my mom was likewise content. My dad is here for some short-term rehab, he gets it about 6 times a week by the wonderful therapists. When he first came in, he can barely put pressure on his foot, but now he's able to walk nearly 20 feet! The Seacrest team is top notch! It's hard to see smiles behind a mask, but every time I talked to any of the staff they were kind and hospitable. It gets busy in the front when I try to visit my dad, but it seems like everyone in the front helps. I've been tested by the receptionist, marketer, and even the Administrator! They try their best to ensure the residents are safe from COVID and I really appreciate that. While staying in a nursing home is not ideal for my dad, I'm glad that he is one where people are kind the the care is good. Tip: Come to your visitation appointment 5-10 minutes early- they COVID test every visitor who comes in. Expect a line. read more

My Grandmother was a resident here twice, she ABSOLUTELY loved the staff! They tended great care to her when she needed assisted to bathroom, which was quite often so that was nice that they have such patience for residents. Overall care for my grandma was amazing to the point, she's up and back gardening ! Highly recommended ! read more

My mother-in-law has been a resident of Seacrest since the beginning of August 2023. She is very happy and is well cared for. The staff is always helpful and friendly. We visit frequently and are thankful we do not need to worry about her when we are not able to be there. read more

I have to say this is the worst place you can leave your love once. They don't change there patient. They don't feed them. I inspected the facility my self and the hallways smell like feces and urine. The poor old people go from bad to worse. If you love your loved once please don't take them here. And if you want to work I highly recommend you to not work here. They are de organizer and don't have diapers for the patients. They use sheets and that irritates the patients skin. They don't care about the patients. The have poor security and poor skilled staff. I see a lot of playing around and lousy nursing. It is unexceptionable. It's so sad that a facility like this is still standing and has not been shut down. Or have all the staff replaced for good people. read more

My mother didn't even last an hour there. She was2 days post operation from a spine surgery and had strick orders from the doctor that she couldn't be twisted and she had to get on and off the bed by herself. She arrived at 9pmand when he was being adjusted to the bed they placed her on a lift. She was screaming that she was being hurt. They put her down and once again they try lift her up with the lift or harness. Once again she yelled in agony and this time the nurse dropped her mid air into the bed. My mother still had her belonging with her and called me right away to pick her up. I called the front desk right away and they told me I had to pick her up right away and take her from The facility before she was put into their system and so it looked like she was never there so I could pick her medicine from her pharmacy. When she was in the hospital she was always walking and going to the restroom by herself. They caused her so much pain that hour she was in Seacrest that she couldn't walk by herself to the restroom. Mom also said there was a elder black woman screaming of pain and all they did was tie her down and didn't do anything to comfort her. My mother is 66 years old and I was so upset of her experience with this facility. Please if your putting your elders make sure they are treated with dignity and respect here. read more

This place is so homey and supportive. My granny has been there and I have visited many times. The staff love my granny and she has gotten so much better since arriving. She can almost run down the halls now (she's not) but so much improvement. I'm so thankful. It has been a good environment for her to get better safely. read more

I do not recommend this place to anyone. My mom suffered a stroke that affected her left side of the body. She became immobile and therefore, needed 24 hour care. We were given a few places to select from and because this facility had a 5 star rating and no fatalities, we chose this place. Worst mistake we ever did for my mother. They neglect all the patients, they ignore, they come around whenever they have a chance, they are short staffed, the food is disgusting, they never have the needed supplies, it is loud and patients are not able to rest. Since my mother was not mobile, she needed them to assist with urinating and she had to wait sometimes 1-2 hours before they can come and assist her. At the moment we found out, we advised my mother to pee on the bed if needed and there was two instances when my mother had terrible encounters with one of the nurses (Augustine). The first instance this nurse was yelling at my mom for peeing late at night and was pointing her finger at my mothers face. Second instance, again after peeing, she dug her nail through her glove into my moms arm and cut her to bleed. We had many complaints and as much as we would raise our concerns, there was not an action plan taken. I can keep going and going about the terrible care this place offered, but this is just a few that I would like to express. It was bad up until she was discharged by choice), they neglected to provide us with enough medication as needed and failed to fill prescription. Did I mention the visiting rules, their visiting hours are during work hours (11am-6pm), only 1 visitor at a time in the room, or they would have to take the patient to a waiting room with other family members. They "recommended" to book a visiting appointment, but at the same time would require it. If you are a working individual, these restrictions are hard on visitors and much more on the patient having to be alone in such a depressive environment. If you love your family members, do not take them here. read more

My brother has been here for more than a year now. He is not always the easiest person to get along with, but the staff here is great with him. His physical health is better than it ever was, and they were able to heal a pressure sore on his foot that had been there for years. Very happy with the care he gets here. Also, whenever you go, there is a positive energy here. It just feels like a good place. read more

My wife has been a resident at Seacrest for the previous two years. Although during the previous year I would not give this facility an above average rating regarding the care she received, a change in supervisory personnel, and a new (director of nurses) has succeeded in upgrading my previous opinion of Seacrest. The overall nursing staff has been remolded into competent, care giving personnel. I would now rate Seacrest as above average and recommend this facility to anyone seeking a convalescent hospital for their loved ones. J read more

My mom has been at Seacrest for about 4 months now. She is 88 years old. When she arrived, she had been neglected and abused at another facility. After a bit of a real hospital stay, she went to Seacrest - she was very underweight, weak, depressed, recovering from pneumonia, and had a feeding tube in her nose. Fast forward to now, she is doing great. She had a permanent feeding tube installed, and is eating well on her own too. She has gained weight, strength and is very happy there. I cannot say enough about how caring and nice the staff is. They are fully staffed, and every patient is treated with dignity and respect. They have group type activities, and adhere to a strict schedule for meals and bathing. They get her up in a wheelchair and have her participate in social events. She is always talking about movie night, and really looks forward to that. When I miss a week getting down to see her, she doesn't seem to notice the time going by, (but does not have dementia). Everyday is a good day for her, and we are blessed for having her at this facility. read more
