I have worked for this company for two years. Prior to working here, my full time job was hospice. So I have had the opportunity to visit a lot of assisted living and rehabilitation facilities. Hands down this is the facility I would put my family member in. Each and every employee knows the residents by name and always puts the residents first. We were extremely intentional when choosing a memory care facility for our loved one--a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Like most families navigating dementia, our top priority was stability and the best care possible. We made it very clear during the admission process that he often urinates on the floor. According to our research, this is a common reality in dementia care. We asked directly what circumstances could lead to discharge, and we understood that aggression would be the primary concern. Our dad has never shown aggression toward staff or residents and is, in our experience, well-liked by those who interact with him. During his stay, he was involved in two separate incidents where another resident struck him. Even in those situations, he did not respond with aggression. Despite this, within a short period of time, we were given a 30-day discharge notice related to the same behaviors we disclosed upfront and believed would be manageable. We also have serious concerns about the level of care and safety during his stay. Our dad experienced two falls requiring ER visits and facial stitches--despite no prior history of falls before admission. The most serious incident, as it was described to us, occurred after he wet the bed overnight. We were told he was assisted into the bathroom and left unattended while staff retrieved supplies, and was later found on the shower floor, bloody with significant injuries requiring emergency medical care. Based on what we were told, leaving a cognitively impaired resident unattended in that setting raises significant safety concerns. We attempted to work collaboratively with administration to address his incontinence, only to be told that this behavior had only been seen once or twice in the past six years, which was surprising to us given our understanding of dementia-related symptoms. To have a facility accept a resident with full knowledge of their needs, indicate those needs could be managed, and then later discharge him for those same issues was deeply disappointing. The impact is not just logistical--it is personal. Uprooting someone with dementia can lead to confusion, regression, and emotional distress that is difficult to reverse. Families depend on honesty, experience, and consistency when placing a loved one in memory care. That was not our experience. read more

My husband has dementia. I moved him to Ashford Memory Care of Springville with the expectation that they would know how to meet the needs of a person with dementia. My husband has been urinating on the floor at times for a year, which is common with people who have dementia. I told the director and others about this when I met with them to take care of the paperwork, payment, etc. And moved him in on January 27, 2026. After just 3 months and 11 days, I received notice that he was being evicted because he had been urinating on the floor! He was finally settling into his new life, and we have grown to love many of his one-on-one caregivers there, and they said they love him. This has been devastating, especially the realization of how such a move could affect my husband. All the care centers we contacted, as we were looking for a new place, were surprised and said that they treat issues with residents who urinate where they shouldn't regularly. Fortunately, it has worked out for the best. We have found a place that is more organized, with clear processes in place, consistency, and more staff. In comparison, it seems like Ashford was understaffed. Best of all, my husband was able to handle the move with only a little distress. read more

he Ashford in Draper is a wonderful Assisted Living with beautiful furniture and paintings throughout. All of the staff throughout the facility are very kind and compassionate. I love Kindell in Activities. She is one of the kindest and caring People I know. She Plans the best outings, crafts and other activities. She's as sweet as her southern drawl. Ashlyn is also another great employee there. She is a very compassionate individual. All of the kitchen staff are wonderful, helpful and caring. Nurse Alissa is another one of the great employees there. There's also Heidi, Lola, Alecia, Parker, Macee. Isabelle, Amber, Shaylee, Micah, Ashland, Kandace and many more who are all an asset to Ashford along with the rest Of the staff. They love the residents. I can't forget Erin at the front desk. She always offers a warm greeting and lots of love. read more

I have worked at the Ashford for almost a year and love the atmosphere here. The building is clean and beautiful and really feels like home. The owner is very involved in the running of the building and it shows in the high standards that are maintained by all the of the amazing staff. Residents always come first at the Ashford and the activities, meals, and nursing care are the best I have seen in any Assisted Living building. The Memory Care unit is unique in how open and inviting it is and families who come to tour are always impressed with the way it feels. I am so impressed with Ashford! The staff has been wonderful and so helpful. After dealing with another memory care facility and being very disappointed with the care and the entire facility, I am so happy to have my loved one at Ashford. There are always plenty of CNAs available and their activity staff is fabulous. The staff interacts with the residents and know all of them. They treat them with love and kindness. The building is beautiful and there is so much room for residents to walk around and it is decorated beautifully. There is beautiful art that makes the space feel so happy. There are several seating areas for residents and family to use. I love that they have activities going on all day! The residents are not just left to sit in their rooms and waste away. They have daily news, exercise, crafts, and more. The staff makes an effort to get the residents involved. I have been there all hours of the day and been very happy with what I have seen. read more

I recently took a youth group to volunteer at Ashford and was very impressed. The atmosphere was welcoming and the building was very clean. All of the employees were kind and helpful. They seemed to really enjoy working there. We played games with the residents and they all talked about how much they enjoy living at Ashford. I would definitely move my grandparents here if they needed a place. read more

I worked for the Ashford as a receptionist for several months and it was the best job I've ever had! I absolutely love the culture of this facility. The employees are great to work with. The owner Greg, is so professional and truly loves each of the residents as if they were his own family. It's not often that you find staff that cares about the residents in a facility such as this! I'm sad I do not work there anymore, as I had a baby and had to leave. If you're considering working here, I highly recommend it! read more
