Came here excited to support a smaller business, but got really rude service at the meat and cheese counter. I loaded up my cart for a Sunday bbq then got to the meat counter and the lady was so rude to me. I'm guessing because I'm Mexican but don't speak Spanish, she looked at me with such disdain and rolled her eyes while I ordered. The other women at the hot food counter and the other register were super sweet and personable. I still love this little market and take-out place. Their prepared foods are delicious, but my colleagues also like their meats. I enjoy their chips, beans, rice, tamales, aguas frescas, tacos, ceviche, chicharones, salsas, guacamole, champurrado, and fresas con crema. They also have cases of baked goods like pan dulce and conchas if you're looking for that. They have fresh and dried chiles and your Mexican grocery basics. The people here are nice and helpful. So, I loved it so much I picked up a couple pounds and now my family loves it. I also love the free chips and salsa on Sundays when you walk in. So, I picked up the guacamole and roasted salsa and any produce needed while there. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. Always welcomed in and the staff smiles a lot. Raffas market, carniceria and restraint has so much to offer. Pollo asado (grilled chicken) is cooked on weekends only. They start early in the morning and you can get it at 9am earliest. The workers here are always super super nice. At the carniceria they usually only speak Spanish but if they notice you can't speak it, they will have someone come over to translate. Chicken was $15 for one. Bag or tortilla chips is $6. Chicken comes with a free container of salsa. The carne de res was $13 a pound I think? The salsa and chips were not that good unfortunately. I have had their guac and pic de gallo from there before and those were amazing. read more

Stale chips! Next I got over charged for only 2 cokes and to chip bags. Total was $31.18! They add some T1F charge of $11.52! Bag of chips was $7.49 each! Never going back to this place!
