This place was amazing! The owner was very helpful & helped us pick the best wines for each person in our group based on their pallet.

I've driven past this cute little winery in downtown Alden so many times, but we finally stopped, and I'm glad we did!

A perfect stop between Traverse City and Mackinaw City, this charming, cozy, epicenter of hospitality has so much to offer. The market has a fun selection of locally-curated items to its own homemade pies, soups, salad, and in-season produce. The Tasting Room is a comfy spot, appointed with more tchotckes, nibbles, a fireplace, and an array of respectable wines and ciders to try. You can stroll around the grounds, see the scenic views, and relax over a flight of unique and tasty beverages. Most definitely a must-visit stop!

On our latest visit while they were out of bottles of my favorite cider, which is the hard red, a combination of apple and cherry it was still on draft so we enjoyed a flight of four and hiked up the short hill to enjoy the scenic overlook that is waiting for you. Everything we tried in our flight was delicious and we ended up with bottles of everything to bring home. My personal favorites were of course the hard red but also the cheeky cherry, which is a sweet cherry wine and the botanical which is a semi sweet pear tasting cider. Service is always friendly and accommodating. On our way out, we visited the farm shop and picked up some cheeses and a apple cider donut for the road. Cheers!

We decided that we would go considering we got the same recommendation from multiple people. In the winter it looks closed until you get up to the building, but it was definitely open. As you walk up you observe all their outdoor domes, and a lit fire for anyone who wants to enjoy the snow, or may have pets. It was beautiful. As you enter you walk into this huge open space with a massive fire place and high tables. In the middle is a bar where you can just walk up and order. We got lucky and attended the afternoon they had live music. The live music really made the whole experience amazing. I enjoyed all the wine. I wound up trying half of the menu because each one was delicious. Overall, this place was an absolute treasure. Beautiful exterior, beautiful interior, superb service, and live music. Highly recommend following them on social media so that you can attend when there is music. Really makes the experience that much better. Also, the owner has the most adorable dogs. They are so beautiful, and well behaved. If you're lucky they will come say hello.

My only reason for not 5 stars is that I felt it was a bit over priced. 2 glasses of red hodge podge and 1 sisters sangria were $42.
