My family and I arrived to a cabin that was full of sand. It was all over the floor and bed…read more My daughter went into the bathroom and found poop floating in the toilet. There were flies that had been swatted and squished up against the windows. Their guts and body were plastered to the glass. The previous tenants had made coffee. The machine had been put back with the coffee grounds and let over coffee remaining inside the machine. When checking out, I talked to the lady at the counter who was mortified. She went to tell the manager 2 times to explain the situation. The manager never came out to talk to me or discuss the issue. We will not be visiting the campground again.

Worst customer service ever. Most rude manager in the world. World not address any of the issues…read more Blamed it on seasonal weather. And the blames no weather stripping on bottom of door due to early checkin(and the only reason we got early checkin was because no one stayed in cabin night before). Its so brittle at bottom of door which let ants and air in. He didnt care said its not his problem and ISNT GOING TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. JUST PLAIN RUDE. My niece who is 17 witnessed the whole RUDE behavior of the so called manager. For all the money we paid he said he didnt care. Do NOT stay in the cabins unless u like run down conditions bugs air conditioning that doesnt work (well works but doesn't keep cold) and RUDE behavior!! And I will mention I called on Saturday afternoon and they said they will send someone right over neve did. Next day Sunday stopped at offce 9am said send someone right over, NOTHING. Back to cabin 2pm and called again and finally sent someone over and was treated as mentioned above. If I ran a business I would be embarrassed to hire staff like this. RUDE and he didnt care a bit!!

Being an earshot away of any conversation your neighbors might have. I like my privacy. The cabins have all the luxurious of home minis running water. There is an AC unit, small fridge and even a microwave. A perfect way to throw some clothes and a some pillows into the car and go. This campground like many is geared toward families. There is a nice pool, games and climby things for all the littles. I was disappointed to learn that they planned to have a movie night. Isn't that the point to camp? To get these kids away from screens? I was sad that I had to listen to the booming speakers going through the camp for 2 hours so these kids could watch this movie. It was a complete distraction to the peace and quiet I was looking for. The prices of the cabins are kind of a lot at over $100 per night but they have 1 queen bed and a set of bunks. I would return but would prefer to come during the non peak time.

Very nice camping park with easy access to Waupaca and the Chain 'O Lakes. We had spots 7,9,11,13…read moreright up against Old Taylor Lake. It was clean and spacious with great views of the lake. Some other spots were nowhere near as spacious, so it depends on what you are looking for and what type of camping equipment you are bringing (rv or tent). The clubhouse was very nice and clean, with great shower and bathroom facilities. The electric at our spots were 20 amp, so it caused us a bit of an issue running A/C, fridge and an electric griddle. It is my understanding that some of the sites have 30 amp service, but not ours. Prices were very reasonable.

We rented two of the cabins and the amount of space inside was perfect for this family of 4! Each kid got their own loft, we had a bed with wonderful space. The number of things to do while there was perfect for the ADHD kids and the ability to sit and watch them do ALL THE THINGS was perfect for this tired momma! We played mini-golf at 6:45 am, horseshoes at 6:54 am, and playground at 7 am to just start all over again (multiple times)! Definitely plan your drinking schedule with the fact that the bathroom is not in the cabin but still close! We had s'mores on the fire pit and two nights of BBQ! We even swam in the lake and the kids LOVED the inflatables (even the 40-year-old fat dudes got out there). The owners were incredible and friendly. Really can see that they care and have built a wonderful community. We will be back!
