Great food. Really enjoyed it. I did not give a 5 star only because of an issue we had. We sat down. Ordered some tapas. They came out great. Then we ordered the Parillada. A couple then was seated beside us. They ordered about 20 min after we did. Then they brought out their Parillada. Not ours. The waitress said sorry. But we still waited. The couple next to us was done and then ours came out. And we were still charged no manager came out. . But I just wanted to have a nice dinner with my wife, so I just paid. Now, the food was great. But I was teed off about this.

We dined at Barcelona Wine Bar for Mother's Day. The restaurant decor is modern and beautiful. I must also not that our service was truly exceptional. We shared a glass of cava, which was crisp and delicious. I chose the aperitivo board and my husband ordered the paella mariscos. My husband lived in Spain for a while so he had high hopes for the paella; alas, it was very salty and the calamari was missing. It was so salty that we only had one or two bites. I keep telling my husband that he just shouldn't order paella in the US anymore. The manager was extremely accommodating and offered many options to help! The aperitivo board was divine. The items were bursting with flavors. My favorites were the marcona almonds, the aged manchego, and the potatas bravas. The table bread and oil were also fresh and delicious. There was another dish that I'm not sure if we ordered or if it was included, but the fish flavor was too strong for me so I passed on that. My husband enjoyed it though. I'd love to try some different menu options for our next visit.

Nice atmosphere, we enjoyed wine at the bar. I tried a wine flight, told bartender Jeff my preferences and he poured 3 fun glasses. Good noise level, really attractive atmosphere. Didn't eat this time but the food orders around us like tasty. Definitely worth a visit

Tapas tapas and more tapas! One better than the other. We did run into a huge problem though, explained in more detail below. Wife and I started our quick little anniversary getaway here, and they nailed it. The place itself is gorgeous. Huge patio with greenery, baller bar area in the middle of the upscale open space, which gives a modern and chic vibe. That problem I mentioned? Deciding what we were going to order off of the amazingly stacked tapas menu. One sounded better than the other, plates coming out to the left and right of us...we were deer in headlights not knowing what to do, words didn't come out when our friendly and knowledgeable server came by. As far as problems go at a restaurant, I guess it could have been worse. With helpful guidance and knowing our love for anything foodie related, we just started picking one by one after a few sips of our well balanced cocktails (another large menu with anything and everything for fellow cocktail lovers out there). Had to go with a meat and charcuterie board first. A decadent manchego, a creamy French that was smooth and tangy, plus a 20 month cured ham that was salty and smoky. Honestly everything that came out after was a 10/10. From the wild mushrooms, Wagyu carpaccio and bone marrow, to the pork belly, corn bunuelos and steak paillard...everything was cooked to perfection with amazing spices and sauces that complemented each dish perfectly. (See pics and captions for more details) These chefs and mixologists know what they're doing here. 2 managers came by our table to make sure everything was going well. Top notch service, top shelf food and drink, modern and upscale decor and vibe. A perfect concoction for a special night out with family or friends.

Came here recently with a friend for ~girl dinner~ and Barcelona continues to reign supreme when it comes to tapas. We went on a Monday, which was perfect because wine bottles were half off. So of course we split a bottle of cava (or two) between us for the evening. We had a wonderful time chatting and sipping our cava - it was a beautiful evening, and they had a steady flow of customers but not too crazy. While there we got an order of the spinach & chickpea cazuela, burrata, charred squash, croquetas, mahi mahi la plancha, and wagyu carpaccio. My favorite tapa hands down, always and forever, will be their croquetas. They are the best I have ever had, and I go to places to try their croquetas to see if they can beat Barcelona's (they never do). I also loved the burrata. We were torn between that and the goat cheese. I am happy we went with the burrata. The charred squash and mahi mahi were not my favorite but everything was still very good overall. Then for dessert we split the olive oil cake. Again, I will try olive oil cake at other places and I have never found one that has beat the cake at Barcelona for me. Between the two of us, I think it was $70 each with tip, which feels like a bargain for everything we got. So in short, definitely give a Monday Girl's Dinner a try.

Classy lively and delicious Came here for Friday night with some friends. Great selection of wine and tapas we had an amazing time here. Venue: lively, has tables, and full bar. It was sprinkling so I didn't see much people in the patio but available. Ambien lighting with lively music. Gets very busy. Simple and modern decor. Food: tried various tapa. Generally they were all good. Ordered charcuterie- simple choices recommended by the server was decent. Pulpo (octopus) was on the drier side but good flavor. Goat cheese was good but I felt it needed more syrup. Wagyu carpaccio was good- mild taste. There was another cooked Wagyu tapa I was not a fan. What took the show that was not on the menu that night was the bone marrow. Get it! Love love love. The wine recommended by our server was exceptional. All in all, I would come back. Service: he was attentive and provided exceptional service.

I love this spot. The manager and our waiter/waitress were super friendly and attentive. I love the small plate concept to allow you to try a few good dishes. We tried the meatballs, green beans, potatoes, shrimp and empanadas. Everything was delicious. The dishes were plated well and arrived timely. This is a great spot to hang with friends. The bar had an amazing selection of cocktails and wines.

Walking into the Barcelona Wine Bar is like Is like stepping into a time machine that got a taste for Rioja--where the ghosts of forklifts and iron hoists now politely make way for stemware and jamón. The brick still whispers industry, the steel beams still hum with work, but now they've dressed up in ambient light and velvet shadows, trading grit for garnacha. A cathedral of labor reborn as a cathedral of leisure. The drinks arrive with confidence--robust, balanced, and unapologetically strong, especially the Old Fashioned. Yet for all the grit in the glass, it's the friendly smiles behind the bar that make the space glow even brighter than the Edison bulbs and the only thing smoother than the drinks is the service, Cheers!

Had some of the best Tapas here when I was in Raleigh. Located right outside the Dillon Hotel in downtown Raleigh it was walking distance from the hotel and one of the few place opened past 10. Sat at the bar, the bartender was friendly and helpful. We ordered a nice Vinho Verde wine and a few small plates. The food was over the top . One dish was better than the other. Gambas al Ajillo- Shrimps sautéed in garlic, wine, and oil. Albondigos - spicy meatballs in a red sauce. I can highly recommend thes meatballs. Super chill vibe and a great place for date night. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for drinks and small plates, and easily found a seat at the bar. My husband had a cocktail and I had sangria, both were good. Love the vibe here and the people are friendly. If they ask if you want bread before your meal, say YES! That was one of my favorite things, comes out hot and fresh. Small plates enjoyed: 1. Charcuterie with salami - recommend, spicy chorizo - not spicy and would not get again, and manchego cheese - recommend. 2. Marinated olives - well marinated and tasty but I was hoping for a mix of olives and they were all green. 3. Empanadas - very good and would def get again.

Went here over the weekend for a birthday celebration. The food was amazing but any large dish will take an hour. I was totally fine with it as we enjoyed wine and a few tapas. I would highly recommend a reservation as it was packed and there is little to no waiting room inside the restaurant. They did have the patio open with plenty of fires going to keep people warm. Everything I had was very good

    Melissa F.

We had a very nice Catalan bottle of wine and sat outside on the patio. The server was attentive even though it was Halloween and there were a lot of distractions.

Their roast beef panini is on par with Portillo's a long standing Chicago beef restaurant (IYKYK). I've NEVER had a beef sandwich that was better than Portillo's but Postino you managed to take a hometown classic and elevate it to a point beyond my expectations - if you get this sandwich I recommend getting it on the ciabatta bread versus focaccia. Let's not overlook the tomato soup - it's so rich and flavorful. For a lighter lunch my go to is the tuna panini with broccoli salad. They are known for their boards, I've not had the bruschetta yet but it looks delicious. My favorite board is the hummus. One thing I hate is when a restaurant gives you a big bowl of hummus and not enough pita. That is not the case here, you'll get pita, toasted bread, and a variety of vegetables to scoop up the velvety humus covered in cherry tomatoes, red onion and feta. For date night enjoy a Violet Femme a gin cocktail that tastes as lovely as it looks. The service here is top notch! Everyone is fantastic. I'll have to come back to this review to note the serves names we've had because they have all been exceptional. Now let's talk about the vibe! Postino's nailed the indoor/outdoor feel. Plenty of windows that are open on nice days, plants galore and the decor gives you a cool like rockstar but classy feel. 5 stars doesn't feel like enough.

The space is cozy, not too big, and lovely. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly & attentive. We even got to meet the Chef and let him know how amazing his curated and creative dishes were! We sat at the bar and were able to be seated right away. We each opted for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon (or two). On to the food! The menu is extensive but not overwhelming. Plenty of delicious and appealing options of small plates to share, but also a few larger ones. We started with the Goat Cheese Stuffed Piquillo Peppers & Truffled Deviled Eggs. Both of these were amazing. The Peppers melt in your mouth and had so much flavor. The Deviled Eggs had the perfect amount of truffle flavor and were perfectly cooked. Next we opted for the Baguette of the day - this one was served with Salami, Burrata, and Arugula. The bread was perfectly crispy and all of the toppings fresh and delicious; this was a perfect combination! Lastly, it was between the Lamb Sliders Trio and the Paella! I really wanted to try the Paella, but my sister and I decided that we would try something a bit lighter and the Sliders looked so elevated, unique, and delicious. They sure did deliver! Served with fresh Goat Cheese, Guacamole, Fresh Jalapeño, Caramelized Onions, and Sriracha, which we got on the side. This dish was absolutely amazing! So different. You wouldn't think to put those flavors together, but it was so great and we would hands-down get it again! All of the food at Vinos Finos was delicious, fun, and fresh.
