    Dip Duo
    Coco P.

Food menu was smaller than expected. I had ordered the lamb meatballs but they were extremely salty so I sent them back. The dip duo was good. The chicken thighs were basic small pieces of fried chicken thighs. I wouldn't recommend the food if you are really hungry. This is more of a small plate snack type of food and let's have some great drinks. Now the drinks stole the show. Sorry I don't have any pics of them. They were delicious. The prices were average for downtown. The rooftop was amazing. It has 2 sides with lots of room. Nice couches as well. Our waiter was amazing. The tip was already included and we even added extra. Great service makes all the difference.

Urban Oak is beautiful inside and out. Dine outside on the covered or uncovered patio for casual laid back vibes and rooftop views. Choose indoor for more intimate, sophisticated dining experience. No matter where you pick, the upscale menu offers high-quality options using modern flavors and local ingredients. We have dined on the covered rooftop patio and ordered takeout. Surprising to us, our favorite items were the spicy rigatoni and olive oil cake. The sauce for the rigatoni was incredible in flavor and mouthfeel. The olive oil cake had a nice flavor and texture. Presentation wasn't the best, perhaps a homemade strawberry sauce would look better than the couple shriveled berries. The employees are efficient and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The prices seem reasonable and I like how they include items on the menu from boulted bread, Trophy brewing, Ponysaurus, Sunny Creek Farms, and more local businesses.

Urban Oak is a nice little oasis rooftop with nice city views, in ans outdoor seating and a huge square bar. Nice ambiance, music, vibes. Perfect for small or large groups. Service was timely and attentive from staff. We had rounds ans rounds of champagne, and it was a nice chilled evening. Minimal noise level. I also had the lamb meatball which I felt like were a bit over cooked so they tunes out hard and rubbery. Luckily, it didn't sway my opinion of my experience. Next time I'll have to pop in for a solid meal to see how that goes. Would recommend, would go again.

First, I want to give a special shout out to the staff! They were so incredibly friendly, helpful in explaining the menu and checking back frequently. I attended as apart of a Yelp event and had a lovely time with the other Yelpers in attendance. The dishes were flavorful but the standout for me was the rigatoni + the dessert and the amazing decor. This venue is perfect for meeting up with friends before a night out as well as a lovely date night spot. I cannot wait to return and explore more of the menu!

What a view! You can see Raleigh's skyline, while you enjoy good food, friendly staff, wine and crafted cocktails! I really enjoyed the spicy Rigatoni- delicious!

I had the pleasure of being treated here for my birthday. The restaurant was beautiful. Urban Oak is located at the top of new beautiful Tempo Hotel. I enjoyed the experience. Our server was extremely attentive and even made a few suggestions. The spicy lamb meatballs were delicious. The watermelon salad was a hit for a nice summer day. Very refreshing. I also enjoyed the crispy chicken thighs and rigatoni pasta. My Moscow mule and sangria were great tasting cocktails for this day hanging out on the rooftop. Everything was very good. I look forward to returning.

Only had a round of cocktails but it was a cool spot. We were going to have dinner here but the menu was so small and underwhelming.

Cute rooftop bar with good shareable bite options. Enjoyed date night before attending a concert at Redhat, which is within walking distance. Stared with cocktails - Isn't She Lovely and Panther Modern. Both were good. For food we had the Boulted Bread, Chicken Thighs, Meatballs and Salad. All were very good. Our waitress was very good and accommodated us moving inside when it started sideways raining.

We enjoyed gorgeous outdoor seating on the patio during our business dinner. I wish I had taken photos of the views as they were stunning. We shared a variety of small plates and a couple of large plates. The only plate I didn't get a photo of was the rigatoni. All of our food and cocktails were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. Service was great. After dinner, we went to the bar and had an after dinner cocktail. The bar area was really cozy as well. Highly recommend.

    Patatas bravas

Came here for small bites & views-- the rooftop & interior is really pretty & well decorated. It definitely has a cute ambiance! I ordered the patatas bravas which I usually love, but the pieces were huge, which I did not expect. The yellowfin tuna crudo was really refreshing and good if you especially like curry. Wasn't too impressed with the small bites menu but would like to return for dinner!

Such a great spot in downtown Raleigh. Best cocktails and bartenders. The fish dip and onion fritters are so good!

From the staff to the manager to the food, everything was on point. The food truly speaks for itself. They serve small plates, which we love because it gives you the chance to try different things and experience a variety of flavors. We started with the fried pork belly on tostones. It was perfectly seasoned, topped with avocado, and every bite just melted in your mouth. Next, we had the tamarind sticky ribs with a tamarind mango barbecue sauce. This was a perfect example of how simplicity can create complex flavors. The ribs were cooked just right -- not completely falling off the bone, but tender enough that when you bit into them, the meat pulled apart so easily. They were juicy, full of flavor, and had just the right touch of spice from the chili flakes. Then we moved on to the mini arepas, and oh my God. They had slow-cooked pork, guava barbecue sauce, and fried papas on top. The arepa itself was crispy on the outside, warm and fluffy on the inside. The savory pork paired with the sweetness of the guava barbecue sauce was incredible, and the crunch from the fried papas took it to another level. Now, I have a bit of a sweet tooth, but my wife does not. I wanted dessert, and we were leaning toward the tres leches, but our waitress highly recommended the bread pudding. I am not usually a fan of bread pudding at all, but her recommendations had been on point all night, so I decided to trust her. I am so glad we did. They take a Mexican bolillo, soak it overnight in tres leches, then pan-sear it to create this crispy caramelized outside while keeping the inside warm, soft, and sweet. It is topped with crema and toasted coconut, then they pour warm guava syrup over it and serve it with a scoop of coconut sorbet. The layers of flavor in that dessert were unreal. Honestly, it may have been the best dessert we have ever had. And remember, my wife is not big on sweets -- she usually only takes one bite of dessert, but this time she tried to eat over half of it. Lol. I highly recommend this place. The food, the service, the drinks, and the atmosphere were all amazing. And after dinner, you can even head upstairs to work off the food with salsa lessons and a dance club. This is definitely a spot worth checking out! Me alegra muchísimo haberlo hecho. Jajaja.
