Arriving all the way from Orange County, I thought I would give the imaging centers in Ventura County a try The office was extremely easy to find being in suite 120 at the intersection of the hallways, basically the center of the building. As I opened the doors, the interior seem spacious with inviting interior decorations. I am typing this review as I sit in the waiting room. The paperwork for me took about 5 minutes to finish as it was rather straight forward. The staff seem kind when they knew immediately who I was even as I was a new patient based on my appointment time. The ultrasound technician was extremely nice and courteous, having over 15 years of experience. The ultrasound experience was efficient as can be as I was comfortable, yet he was able to take a lot of pictures both ventrally and laterally with his ultrasound wand, with the right amount of pressure without it hurting. The ultrasound gel was warm and much appreciated it. The small talk was brief and enjoyable as I remained pretty much quiet throughout the entire procedure except holding breath when he says so. Afterwards, I returned to the office where I was able to reschedule my upcoming chest xray appointment with Stephanie. She had excellent customer service and was very polite. She even let me prefill a form so I don't have to fill it on the day of. Overall, I got my results back the next day. Instantaneously. I don't know about the other reviews on here but this has been the most pleasant experience I've come across in imagining. Coming all the way from Orange County. I look forward to my next appointment! Update: Amber, the x-ray technician for my chest x-ray was extremely skilled. She helped me remove my necklace, was very courteous, polite, positive, and radiant as she took my x-ray in an efficient manner. It literally took 5 minutes. The front office staff was also in the festive spirit with Halloween attire. In conclusion, this diagnostic office is probably the best office I have ever visited in my life! (And I've been to a lot of medical offices as an EMT).

The front check ins consist of 2 small sections, 1 has 2 front ladies with computers next to each other where you check in and stand up. The other small section to the right has another person with a computer and for someone to sit down if needed. However the section with 2 people you are literally standing next to another patient, me and my father were checking him in standing next to another patient as she was checking in. I attached a photo for reference. During check in, they did state they would ask a few questions, I did not think too much of it till they started asking him about his medical condition, past medical treatments, his current medications and history OUTLOUD. I got uncomfortable after a while and asked to complete it myself, why are we speaking this out loud? Is this not against HIPPA? They give patients registration forms to sign with a clip board and have them sit down... why not let your patients complete the medical questionnaire?! Why should patient standing next to us hear his current diagnosis, medication and current and past treatments especially if its super sensitive to him. My father and I noticed that after he mentioned specific words regarding his personal life, the patient to our right kept looking over. Again the answers themselves were sensitive and I don't feel my father got the privacy he deserved. After we left my father was really not happy with that and neither was I. He did NOT feel his information was private despite how many people are in the room or not, why does he have to say it outloud? If management is reading this, as a worker in the healthcare field myself... I would suggest patients answering that themselves on paper as this info is private. No matter if people stand next to each other at check in, we can hear everything here in the waiting room chairs. Other than this, I will say this place is very clean and nice and well kept.

She is the only person who can draw blood without hurting me. She is the sweetest, kindest, woman you will ever meet and is always a pleasure to talk to - she eases your mind and makes you very comfortable and relaxed. If ever I get a lab slip to another place (like Quest), I have my doctor give me a generic one specifically so I can go to Primex. There is never any wait! She's in the little beige building directly to the left of the drive up liquor store on Loma Vista across from CMH. (see attached picture) Also, just an FYI, I love this place so much that I created this Yelp listing because it is impossible to find this location online. I want everyone to know how great it is!

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Pinheiro. My surgery was scheduled a week out, and today's pre-op appointment was supposed to prepare me for it. After waiting 30 minutes on telehealth, I called the office and was told she had an emergency C-section. I completely understand emergencies happen, but I was never called, no voicemail was left, and this was not the first time I had an issue. Out of the four appointments I had with her, she was more than 20 minutes late to two and didn't show up at all for the last. When I spoke with the manager, I explained that I felt nervous and uneasy about moving forward with surgery because I hadn't been able to go over what labs/test needed to be done. I felt brushed aside as a patient. Instead of reassuring me, I was told Dr. Pinheiro was willing to pass along my records to a new provider. I was still willing to proceed and was scheduled to speak with her, but right as I logged in, the manager called back to say Dr. Pinheiro was no longer comfortable performing my surgery because I had expressed discomfort. In other words: if you speak up for yourself, this doctor may refuse your care--even if you've been in pain and bleeding for months. That is exactly what happened to me. I now have to start over with a new provider while still in discomfort.

Dr Williams asked me if I took calcium/D3. I have NEVER been D3 deficient and started taking calcium with D3 in it in when 50 years old as Dexa scan said a bit of osteopenia which has changed little in 25 years. We simply answered Dr Williams questions and I asked her to check my husband's hearing. The scribe and Billing Mgr will write in anything they can (true or not) to charge you extra! It was all routine exam, eyes, ear, throat heart, lung, and breast exam for me. No internal exams. We will be changing doctors asap and refuse to pay extra fees for routine exams and to answer questions. We are healthy, exercise, eat right, and NOT overweight. We reported them to Aetna FRAUD dept! I notified Dr Williams. She will be retiring in 2 years she told me. AVOID THIS GROUP with offices located in Ventura and Oxnard. I entered into an online chat with someone last Thursday or Friday explaining the technical glitch. That person said they report it to the appropriate party. This morning I went through the same process and selected "thighs" since there was still no "hip" selection option. I made an appointment for 11:25. Got a text saying to be there 20 minutes early. Arrived at 10:50. Explained all of the above to the person behind the counter. She said she'd fix the appointment to reflect "hips". I asked that she report technical glitch, and she said there was nothing she could do about it. Ok.... How about reporting the issue to someone that could fix it? Next she tells me that I'll probably need to wait 1-1.5 hours because they just took someone back that required extensive X-rays on most body parts. I had an "appointment" at 11:25 and they accept someone ahead of my appointment that will require me to wait 1-1.5 hours. She said that normally they just take walk-in appointments. Ok. But I had an appointment at 11:25 as confirmed via text and I was requested to arrive 20 minutes early. Which I did. I guess an appointment means nothing. What a joke. Maybe Rolling Oaks should switch to a similar appointment service as employed by Quest. They take walk ins and appointments and juggle them both perfectly.

When I called to make an appointment with Identity Medical Group, I felt comfortable and the appointment date was within a month, so I decided to move forward and book the new patient exam. Dr. Robert (Bob) Dodge's office is located in the 5-story building across the street from Community Memorial Hospital in mid-town Ventura. There is a 3 story parking structure below the building that offers free parking. Dr. Dodge's office is located in unit 502. There's 2 doors then enter into the same building. So here we are on the day of my new patient exam, 2/29/15 @1000. I arrive at 0950 and sign onto a sheet. At the front desk sat, Rosie-one of the receptionist who didn't seem warm and welcoming. After about 10 minutes Nicole, registered me into the system and collected my co-pay. Within 5 minutes I was called back by Hannah, who I'm assuming is the MA, proceeded in taking my temp, weight and vitals-she also performed pre-appt questions to get a better gage for my visit. She then walked me to the exam room where I waited another 5-10 minutes for Dr. Dodge. My first impression of Dr. Dodge is that he is very warm-welcoming. He has great energy and displays true passionate, concern about your care. He actively listens as you voice your concerns and reiterates back to you. I like that he was consistent in asking if I had any questions, to make sure I understood his recommendations. The overall physical/assessment appointment was about 30 minutes, and then I was done. I would recommend Dr. Dodge to anyone looking for a new primary care physician. I'm happy to have finally found a primary care physician that actually cares and who is quite knowledgeable.
