Tried their açaí elixir ($9.49) and the matcha madness smoothie ($10.99). Smoothies are a little on the pricey end. However they do not contain fillets such as ice or frozen yogurt. So do with that as you may. When you enter it's a quaint establishment, 3 tables ranging from 2-4 seats. You can either place your order with staff or use the kiosk. I thought they took allergies seriously but apparently they dont. Came in and ordered a juice and a smoothie. The smoothie I ordered came with strawberries and I told the girl, no strawberries. Apparently, she didnt care and added strawberries. I drank about a quarter of it and my face started itching and I look in the mirror and im covered in hives. I recently visited this place and had a disappointing experience. The wait time was incredibly long. After 30minutes, I asked them how long it would take and the staff just went into the fridge and pulled out my order without saying anything. I don't know how long it had been sitting in there for. Because they don't call out names or offer any system to let customers know when their order is ready, people end up waiting around aimlessly. When I told her I had been waiting and no one called out names, all she said was "it's not my fault" then walked away. Terrible customer service. My boyfriend and I were passing through the area on our way to San Francisco when we stopped by to try this new place! This location is pretty relaxing and it's not chaotic for a food place! I live in Pismo Beach but I come here every time I visit my sister and girlfriend and decided to drop in and order the small vitality bowl which is my go to, normally I just give my sisters name and number so she gets the points but for some reason the dude didn't know how to put in her loyalty rewards number? He said he did but when I texted my sister she didn't have any new points not sure if this guy was lying but he sounded extremely confused the entire time like it was his first day and I had just asked him the most confusing question....I know I'm probably being dramatic about this, but if you don't know how to do loyalty numbers just say so brother and I'll have my sister order it online, there was no one I could talk to about adding my number so I'm hoping the owners see this on here and do better. read more

As I was parking in front of the entrance, noticed an employee leave the store and go in to his car and then back inside, all while wearing blue rubber gloves. There was another customer that went in right before I did, the employee rang up the man in front of me, left to the back, then returned with his açaí bowl, still wearing those same gloves (noticeable because of how wet they appeared moist/wet underneath as if he'd been wearing them for some time). I'm pretty sure the fruit atop of an açaí bowl requires some handling to arrange so I changed my mind considering how many things the employee had touched and was still wearing the blue gloves. read more

Wow. Todays experience was seriously sad. I was really looking forward to my bowl today after a long crappy day. I called in and here was verbatim how the conversation went. Them: Hello? Me: Hi I'd like to make an order for pickup! Them: okay. Me: *questionably* okay... *cheerfully* well can I please get a nutty bowl and add cacao nibs? Them: Yeah. Me: *uncomfortably* Thanks!.... How long will that be? Them: 10 minutes, bye. No greeting, no name, no idea if I even called the right number in that moment. Didn't even ask me my name for the order. Awkward uncomfortable and short responses with zero effort of even bare minimum "customer service". When I came in I was still polite and even still tipped. However, to make matters worse, I brought this bowl home and there was something in it that tasted so fowl that I actually gagged and spit it up. This entire bowl is now going to waste and so is my almost $16 I spent on it. If I could get my money back on this I would but after this interaction today it's not even worth driving all the way back to duke this out with people that clearly don't care anyway. Sad. read more

This is the worst location. And it's NOT the fault of the kids that work there but that of whoever manages/owns this place. Typically only have 1 person on staff and poor kid has to manage the entire place all by themselves. You're looking at a solid 45 minutes-1 hr wait for your food. Friendly People, Good Service, Healthy Food. Man alive I forgot how good these bowls are! It's been quite a while since I visited this restaurant, so I decided to give them another try. I'm glad I did! Today, I ordered the medium size tropical bowl. The young lady at the counter was very helpful in explaining the different type of bowls they offer. They were a bit short on staff, but they definitely hustled to get me my order, which I received in 10 minutes. Wow it was really tasty! The tropical bowl, like you would expect, has tons of fruit in it: Strawberry, banana, apple juice, mango, pineapple, flax seed, honey, and of course acia. It also has coconut sprinkles on top, and granola mixed in. The tropical bowl tastes as though it would be 1000 calories, but it's actually only 450. I am astonished! You can see the calorie count on the display board up front, but you have to look sort of hard, since the font is pretty small. It was even better than I hoped for! This is a perfect light meal to take outside and enjoy on a spring afternoon. There are about six tables outside, as well as a scattering of other chairs. It's pretty tight inside, so I definitely prefer the larger outdoor seating. This bowl was about $12, but I got 10% off using my Yelp check-in special. They have sandwiches, which are quite a bit cheaper, but honestly, the bowls are the thing to get. Yes, it's sort of expensive, but on the other hand the portion is pretty large, even for the medium. Also, this is not your typical fast-food type of meal. I am always looking for a healthy type of meal, and this restaurant fits that need. They have bottled drinks in the fridge right next to the counter. So all in all, a very good experience. read more

Ordered a vitality bowl and a superfoods bowl over the phone with granola on the side. Came in to pay and they charged me for extra granola, and it wasn't even on the side. Explained to the lady that I can't have gluten, and I give the granola to my sister for her bowl instead. Lady had my bowl remade, didn't give a refund for the extra charge. It was only 75 cents, but she didn't even offer. Nothing like "oh I'm so sorry can I give you a refund" or any slight apology or offer of refund was offered. It seemed like she didn't really care. My sisters bowl had 4 full strawberries unblended in her bowl. Took up lots of space, frozen so they were hard to eat. Probably won't come back for a little while, or will try danville and Dublin instead. TLDR: 2 stars because they charged me extra when I only wanted granola on the side, but remade my bowl.
