Do not move here. High crime rate. Not safe. Your car will get stolen. You pay $25/month to park here even if you're a resident and you still get your car stolen. You can't find parking when you get off work because everywhere is marked reserved and they want you to pay $75/month to park your own car as a resident. They claimed to have gotten security but there is no security on the premises and their cameras are all fake and the thieves know that. That's why the keep coming here. they stopped notifying residents of crime that happens is the complex so we won't expose them. The leasing office staff gives out the codes to the property recklessly so thieves go into the parcel pending lockers and steal your packages. Literally the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. i'm forced to break my lease because I have a minor child and rI can't live in this unsafe high stress environment. read more

Jaquelyn and Christina have been really helpful in getting adjusted and settled into this new community for me. The entire process of getting in was well managed. Covid is really testing businesses and Vitruvian West is taking all measures to provide a safe environment for all of us to continue enjoying - in a limited matter, but none the less with safety in mind. I have friends in surrounding complexes and I honestly don't see myself anywhere else other than here. it's an amazing place to live with amazing who are genuinely happy of being here. You can see the interest of keeping this place in order :) it's a beautiful community and management does well in staying on top of things. I see it everyday, the upkeep and engagement is the icing on the cake. If you're looking for a new place - this is going to be it. read more

This is by far one of the worst complexes I have EVER lived in. The goal of the staff is to get as much money out of you as possible, my roommate and I did everything we were supposed to do in order to have a smooth move out (emailed and wrote in that we were leaving) so that we wouldn't get charged a "month-to-month" fee which is what this complex automatically does if you don't write in that you are moving out - they automatically move you to a month-to-month rent even when your lease is x date to y date. In addition to this - you get charged $20 a month to walk your own trash to the trash shoot. OH! and if you live on the first floor the only way to get to that trash shoot is by going to the 2nd story and walking all the way across the parking garage. In addition to the money situation, this is the worst staff to try to get ahold of, it takes numerous emails and numerous calls for anyone to get back to you on anything, and most of the time they never get back to you - imagine that! Overall the place is a complete dump, the parking situation is horrible, the only bonus to this complex is the pool that you aren't even allowed to listen to your own music at which has been under construction for 6 months with no one working to fix whatever is wrong with it. I wouldn't live here again if someone offered me money (which they did try to ​do). There are plenty of other nicer complexes in the Addison​, midtown area that check all the boxes of luxury. You would think that a relatively newly built property with great (looking) amenities wouldn't have so many downfalls. Oh but it does! Do you like drama? Do you like to be stressed out? Then move here, this is perfect for you! They'll tow your car illegally under false premises, fine you for the smallest and often FALSE reasons, and your vehicles will be wrecked and vandalized and maybe even your apartment broken into! Do they care? Of course not! I've lived here going on 14 months and the last three couldn't come any quicker. Signed on for a 17 month lease where I'll have spent 20 THOUSAND DOLLARS to live here only to have it be a literal nightmare. They have you do everything through a sham app, where no one even responds or actually helps you. Never answers the office phone, not a single email is answered, or phone call returned. Do you like waking up in the middle of the night and evacuating due to an obnoxious fire alarm? Live here (: people let their dogs pi*s and sh*t right outside your door (: what a thoughtful gift! Talk about great neighbors. The cops are ALWAYS here but never actually doing a single thing, oh and you wanna lie about your income? They literally don't even check to make sure what you're claiming is legit. The elevator in building two will malfunction with you in it and drop a whole floor BY ACCIDENT! Why even go to six flags? Your stomach can drop FOR FREE! Apart from my obvious frustration and sarcasm, I hope this review can be seen for what it truly is and can save at least one person from the misery that is living at this complex. It's so bad I'm literally moving out 2 months before my lease is up and just paying the lease out while I live in my new apartment. Thank the lord I have the finances to do this. I lived here for over a year and enjoyed it very much. The interior finishes are very nice and the apartments are extremely energy-efficient. Options such as stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and washer and dryer inside the apartment were a few of many things I enjoyed. Maintenance team is the quickest I've ever had. Most of my service requests were completed same day. Bryan and Lisa were always extremely professional and helpful. If I ever sent an email, I had a response back very quick. The only reason I moved was to be closer to work and I still wish I would've stayed and just dealt with the commute. Vitruvian park across the street has all sorts of events. There is a bar over there and doggy daycare as well. Tom Thumb grocery store is in walking distance along with the Starbucks and Chase Bank. If you're considering living here, just do it. I would move back in a heartbeat. read more

I lived here for 14 months. From Jan 2022- March 2023. I have a pretty throughout and honest review of each specific aspect that I think is important while looking for an apartment. Apologies in advance for any typos or confusion. Unit/apartment: 2/5 stars It was really small but good enough for a single, childless person with no pets. The appliances and finishes were nice as well. The tub was painted over white when I moved in and upon cleaning it, the paint chipped away which made my tub look like it was dirty. When I asked maintenance about it, they said they would just paint it over again and I wouldn't be able to use the shower for a day or so, I didn't think it was worth it to change. I cleaned my bathroom regularly but sometimes it would have this smell, as if someone used the bathroom (#2) and that would be a little disturbing because I am assuming that I was just smelling one of my neighbor's bathrooms. My toilet also made a REALLLY weird noise almost every time I flushed. I got used to it but my guests would always be slightly concerned about it. It wasn't an issue I took up with maintenance. There was also a sulfur smell in my bathroom that would constantly come back, maintenance said they couldn't do anything about it but it really did make me insecure when guests came. Also facing the courtyard, I didn't get much sun in my apartment which was kind of a bummer. Also, the walls are paper thin which is to be expected in an apartment but I could hear almost everything going on in my neighbors apartments. Also, facing the courtyard was very inconvenient because I would constantly hear people yelling/ kids playing and screaming with no consideration for those living there. I really liked the electronic door and using an app to unlock the door/ change the temperature in the unit without getting up. Overall community: 2/5 A MAJOR issue for me was the fire alarm going off at all times of the day. It was so inconvenient, woke me up multiple times throughout the night and I honestly could not imagine having a child or pet and having to deal with that. It's a blaring alarm in the bedroom of all the units. The pool, gym, the clubhouse are really appealing and also a major reason why I wanted to sign a lease here. I rented the clubhouse for an event and it was a very smooth process. When I first moved in, they had basically no rules at the pool. The gym also had a lot of people that didn't live there or trainers that would use the gym as their own studio which was very weird. They attempted to fix this issue after a fight broke out at the pool. They issued bands for residents and 2 guest passes. This made it a little inconvenient to have get togethers at the pool. They also had two security guards. The parking garages are very tight and not built well to accommodate the entire community especially with hoe crazy people drove. The gates break often. Some people had break ins. Even tho there is a no smoking policy on the property, people smoked all the time. I actually got into an accident which was very annoying. The girl was at fault but didn't have insurance, I couldn't get a video from the security camera bc I didn't call the police ( a mistake on my end) but if you get into a wreck, call the police and file a report so you when access to the security camera. The also use a system called parcel pending for packages/deliveries. I liked it a lot and didn't have an issue with it until I was getting ready to move out and they lost one of my packages. I tried following up multiple times but their customer service sucked and I didn't want to continue to be frustrated so I let it go. Location: 5/5 I loved the location of my apartment. Very conveniently located in the metroplex. Good amount of restaurants and grocery stores around. I felt safe here. I really enjoyed taking walks on the lake. Leasing office staff: 4/5 So calling is not reliable at all. They have a text message system which they are pretty responsive too. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was a little frustrated when I got into the wreck in the parking garage and just hearing back from the Leasing Manager was almost impossible. She didn't respond to any of the emails I sent. Also when moving out, I had a balance that wasn't right and I had to email and send a follow up email. They use apps to pay rent and have an app that allows you to monitor the thermostat. If you decide to sign a lease here, I suggest linking a bank account to pay rent bc they do not take out the service fee to do so. Also, you HAVE to read all the emails they send. It's a lot but they choose to relay a lot of important information via email. read more

Vitruvian West - I love how big the complex is - Apartments Near Me - Addison, Texas

NOISY! NOISY! NOISY!!! We came from Frisco and rented this apartment here specifically for my son to have a good learning environment. It is close to his school, and it is very convenient to go and back from school every day. The people in the office are very nice, especially Taylor, who is really nice. Before I moved in, I looked around here for a long time. I really like the park here. but after moving in, our nightmare began. It was really really noisy, Sometimes music can be played until 3:00 am , shaking walls of my room, I complained so many times, even I called the police twice, the police came, and it stopped After a while it came again. At that time, there were many colds and viruses in winter, plus the SAT test, all kinds of noise, which seriously affected the study and health of my son, This period was really the cruelest stage and nightmare in my life. I'm out of anger, the noise management of this apartment is really a shit ！！！so I moved out, It really took me half a year to heal my heart. I recommend this apartment to people who like noise and can shake each other's room。 read more

DO NOT move here unless you like bad management, having the fear of getting your car/ car parts stolen all the time, fire alarms going off in the middle of the night, and super thin walls that you can hear your neighbor's phone vibrate. Yes that's right, the walls are so thin here that if your neighbor's phone is vibrating on the other side of the wall, you can hear it in your apartment. Don't let the pool & gym distract you from these reviews. I made the mistake of resigning my lease because my first year "wasn't that bad" and it was the worst decision I made. I'm so happy to be out of there now and it's a breath of fresh air; I forgot what it was like to have nice management and to live in a place where you don't hear your neighbor's every move/ conversation. 1) FIRE ALARMS: I gave them a break in the beginning because I understand new buildings can have finicky fire alarms, but now the buildings are at least 2-4+ years old now, so there really is no excuse. I lived here for 2 years and the fire alarms go off at least once a month, many times in the middle of the night. One time, it went off for 2 hrs nonstop from 8-10PM (maybe it was 10-12AM?). Another time the alarms went off at 3AM and I had guests over, which was so embarrassing. 2) I woke up one weekend without internet and to an email from my utilities company that my services have been cancelled. After calling both my internet provider & my utilities company, I was told that there was a new service turned on for apartment, therefore they automatically turned mine off. It turns out a new tenant moved into the complex and they thought they lived at my address, therefore they changed everything into their name. I don't understand how this could've happened because when you sign your lease, the leasing office writes down your new address on the lease, so unless the tenant had the wrong address.... anyways the leasing office claimed no responsibility nor did they try to help resolve any of this. I lost $150 because I had to pay "early termination" fees to my internet & utilities providers and the leasing office only reimbursed me back $50. 3) An apartment above mine had their pipes burst during the winter freeze and it flooded my apartment DURING CHRISTMAS. I had family over for the holidays, so this was crazy. The leasing office didn't do anything to help with this and we had to get an Airbnb for a week. Literally every week, I was told that they were coming to fix it. When they didn't come, I would message them and they mostly ignored my messages. They claimed that the apartment was "livable" even though half of it was covered in plastic and the drywalls were open. Not to mention, I work from home and my office was my living room. I had to cram all of my living room stuff into my bedroom, so then I had no space in the bedroom too. I work with large product samples that got delivered to my apartment, and during that time, the office refused to accommodate for this. I was told multiple times that I couldn't use any of the meeting rooms in the other buildings and could only use the clubhouse. There are only 2 conference rooms in the clubhouse, and there were at least 4-5 of us that were affected by the freeze. That meant that a lot of us were having conference calls out in the open instead of in a private area. You would think a decent management company would make an exception and accommodate their residents while multiple apartments were getting fixed. This was the clearest indication of how awful the management was; during times of crisis, they refused to help their residents. 4) Yes the pool can get rowdy, but when they have security there, they will harass you to show your wristband again, even though you already checked in with them. They enforce strict rules at times when it's uncalled for, so they basically ruin the pool experience anyways. If you have more than 2 friends, sorry but they can't come to the pool even if there's no one at the pool that day. read more

I have lived in Vitruvian West for almost a year I decided to stay again. The apartments are quiet the management are nice and respectful also the maintenance men. If I submit a service ticket they come right away and fix whatever I need. They have a really nice pool and a two-story workout center. You can also reach the office by contacting their number and they will get to you as soon as possible highly recommend the apartments. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. *LISTEN TO ALL OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS* Imagine paying over $2,000 a month on rent at a 'luxury apartment complex' just to wind up staying with friends all the time because you feel so unsafe at your own apartment. I read through bad review after bad review before moving in here last March, and chose to be optimistic. The apartments are beautiful, new, and I love the location. The other residents, the staff, the area around the complex, the lack of safety, constant partying in the courtyards and pools, and cops being called every single night for shootings, stabbings, parties, robberies, drug deals, domestic disputes, etc all outweigh how beautiful the actual apartment homes are. My roommate and I (both single females) felt so unsafe here. We couldn't enjoy how beautiful the neighborhood and park was because of the high crime rate in the area. Our neighbors threw outrageous parties nightly (leasing office of course never addressed it or just told us to call the cops) and our neighbor would constantly yell at us in the hallways and threaten us (again... leasing office said call the police). We were on a corner unit as well, so considering the fact that the doors never fully latched, our stairwell was accessible from the street which left us feeling pretty vulnerable. We both ended up staying with friends a majority of the time because we didn't feel safe enough to be in our own apartment. The pool is pretty, but again, we rarely got to use it because it is constantly overran with huge groups of mostly non residents that sneak in the gate and party, smoke weed, drink, throw glass bottles on the ground, and sell drugs in the parking lot. I've never been so relieved to move out of a place- and so sad because it could be so beautiful if the staff cared enough to stop letting trashy disrespectful residents ruin it for everyone else. We had a group chat amongst a few of us to keep everyone alert to what areas of the complex to avoid at certain times to avoid parties, walking into the middle of a domestic dispute, and keeping each other up to date on which floor or building the latest fight or shooting was happening at, or why the cops were there again. Anyways long story short believe all the reviews, don't try to be optimistic, and only move in here if you want to be pissed off every day of your lease. :) read more

This place is come a long way since I moved in last year. April and her staff have actually made me wait to stay. I am considering renting a home but the location and amenities here are just hard to pass up. The fact this staff LISTENS to their tenants is huge for me! We live here for a couple of months and every couple of night the fire alarm Will Go On in middle of the night and we have a newborn it's a really bad situation to wake up at 1:40 a.m. not the first time and not the second time not the third time Not the 4th time the 7th time the alarm goes on in the middle of the night... In the first and the second time I thought it's normal for a new building you're doing testing out but half of a year after and still it's going on?!!!!!?!?!!!?!?! As a professional in the Dallas area, I would advise anyone against moving here. *** I lived at Vitruvian West for 4 months and paid heavily to break my 14 month lease because of the magnitude of unsafe living conditions. Pros: - Nice pool - Updated amenities/apartments - Maintenance & front desk people kind - Addison Police are very nice and do the best they can to help Cons: - SAFETY. Police are called nearly every weekend for altercations - SAFETY. 7/8/22: the roof to the apartment caught fire (building 1). Took over an hour & 2 fire trucks to extinguish (did not originate from resident apartment). If someone set it purposefully - what kind of security do we have? If it was an "accident"- what kind of coding standards are they skipping/not up to standard? What if it's a resident apartment next? - HEALTH HAZARD. Residual water damages from the roof fire leaked as far down as second floor. Mold, mildew in the walls. Smell. Paint peeling off from moisture. - SAFETY. 7/11/22 someone attempted to break into my personal apartment at 6am. I called 911. - SAFETY. Poor phone reception: this seemed unimportant given I paid for internet and could text on iMessage until I needed to call 911 and could barely be understood. - SAFETY. 7/11/22 The unknown suspect returned to my apartment a second time. I caught a photo through the peephole and turned it in to Vitruvian staff along with a detailed description of his appearance, the police report number and the first and last name of the officer overseeing the investigation. No actions taken by upper management. No warning sent out to residents in the building. - SAFETY. When I personally spoke with Addison Police, the officers told me candidly ever since Vitruvian West began constructing bld 2 & 3, the standards of renters has greatly diminished adding hazards to safety. This might not be you, but this could be your neighbor... - SAFETY. 8/3/22 domestic disturbance and 911 called, police arrived to handle the "scene" Vitruvian West is akin to the Titanic...don't allow the "luxury" to draw you in - this is a sinking ship. PLEASE rate this helpful if you found it was useful to you - I cannot warn enough people. The recent staff is incompetent and tells you false information. Cars have been stolen from the garage and multiple times all the rims and tires have been stolen leaving cars on blocks. DO NOT LIVE HERE. PLEASE. There are so many reasons you should avoid this apartment complex at all costs. I so wish we would've decided to break our lease sooner to get out. 1. Safety - high amount of crime, car break-ins/vandalism (some have been done by residents living there/our truck got broken into), and illegal drugs (have found needles in the stairwells before). The doors and gates to the garage are always broken, non-residents park on the street and try to follow you in, a lot of non-residents getting in the building/pool, and cops get called a lot. This was my biggest concern and one of the main reasons I left, I simply did not feel safe walking around here, especially at night. I had to fight management the first few months I lived here to get some more lighting/security lights around the building as it was absolutely dark on Westgate Dr. 2. Community - the quality of residents: the people that live here treat the place like trash literally (leave trash everywhere) throw big parties, are super loud, invite tons of guests, and do lots of drugs (lots of people smoke on their porches even though it is a non-smoking complex). These are not classy people and management definitely has not done anything to help change the community here as they don't take care of this bad behavior/absolute disrespect of the property. 3. Cleanliness - to put it simply, the apartments I lived at in college with a bunch of college kids were 10x more clean than Vitruvian West. The hallways, garage, doors, trash area, elevators, stairs are disgusting. I always felt dirty after walking around. There is trash, spilled liquid from trash, and dog feces and urine everywhere (in the building, on the sidewalks outside, onetime found dog poop on the 2nd floor of the community center.) One time it took the cleaning crews almost an entire week to clean up some dog urine in my hallway. Besides this, just the never-ending smell of trash from mismanagement of it just adds to the whole unpleasant experience of living at Vitruvian West. Also, I think the building has a black mold problem, always had some growing in our apartment & maintenance could never seem to fix it.) All of this goes to say, I did not have a good quality of life living at Vitruvian West and a lot of other residents I spoke too would tell you the same thing. Sure, there are some people out there that probably don't mind this place, but they are also probably also the ones that are trashing it/don't respect the property. So if you are looking for nice, safe, and clean luxury living in Addison, this is not the place. Management was always making empty promises that things would get better and they never did. And if there were all these problems with the first phase, there's no telling how bad it will get with the new 300+ units that got added this summer in phase 2. This place had so much potential when I moved in in 2018 but went downhill so quickly. The pool and gym were really nice, the apartments themselves weren't bad (had nice finishes) and I loved the location living next to Vitruvian Park. I feel bad writing this review but I feel like I should warn people of this place so they don't have to go through what we went through. I hoping that management can get things turned around ASAP at Vitruvian West and that future residents have a much better experience living there than we did! (P.S. Bad starting !!! I used apartment locators to find this place. Apartment locator send me the deal and I arrived the property. Apartment locator advised me to see Madison. I arrived no one looked ar me for 10 min just sitting the lobby. I got up and went to this 2 apartment agents sitting there and surfing on there cell phone. I asked I am looking for Madison she was like it is me and I am busy I can't help you. I was shocked !!! and turned around the lady who is seating at the office and came to me and askedme if everything is okay? I told her I had appointment with her and she is busy and showed her the deal. She said they don't have the deal anymore are you serious?? The deal was one month free for one bedroom apartment for June. They declined me on the spot. Who wants to live this kind of entertainment not me!! This message is for the apartment owner if you hire people like Madison you will have a bad review and your business will be affected. I can afford more than the price you have right now. This is 2018. Don't judge a book by cover. I won't go back to that place. read more

*PSA*please read the reviews before moving in* I wish I did* I only gave on star because I had too, of course it looks nice online and even the staff in the leasing office, super super nice! Just the ppl that live there are animals! Flat out nasty!! They don't regulate their own rules, honestly doesn't seem like they care! I moved my mom into a unit and am seeking ways to get her out asap, not only is it just being ran down by tenants and surroundings, it truly isn't safe, many break ins to cars and stolen items, fights all the time, loud music and very disrespectful ppl that have no consideration for anyone even there own living space! I feel bad for the few in the office that have no control over these issues, hopefully after enough of these bad reviews which there are many, they might really wake up and do more then take peoples money and provide the experience one seeks in a luxury community! And trust me it is not cheap! They charge you for everything and then don't even allow you to pick what you want to use as far as providers for cable, internet, electric, lol all 3 buildings are different which make no sense?? Listen to the reviews. My boyfriend and I signed a lease without really paying attention to the reviews and now we're paying for it. This place is way too expensive to allow the worst of people to live in. Expect to see dog feces throughout all the hallways and parking garages daily. Expect to see piles of trash bags in the hallways, near your door and in parking garages daily. I've reached out to the manager, April, multiple times and I've yet to hear back a response. The whole UDR company itself is so rude and their communication is nonexistent UNLESS you are wanting to lease, then they are responsive, but after that you will never get in touch with anyone unless you go in to speak with someone at the leasing office. Pros: - Nice finishes in apartments - Decent gym - Front office staff is nice, though had already changed in the months after I'd moved in Cons: - Frequent car break-ins and vandalism (see attached photos of two vehicles parked in the parking deck on wood blocks, taken on March 17, 2019) - "Luxury" rent, but "college apartment" issues - Parking deck is too compact, and it's frustrating to navigate on a daily basis - Trash areas require you to use your key fob at least twice to access via two sets of heavy doors if coming from apartment, then the trash rooms are often piled up with trash (imagine doing all this while carrying two heaping bags of trash) - Recycling is not a chute along with the trash, but rather some bins on the first level (the Savoye across the street had them in two chutes together) - Fire alarms have gone off on average once a month; there has yet to be an actual fire--the first one was a malfunction of the sprinkler system (circa September 2018) at 2:00 a.m. - Must pay a separate fee for a "parcel box;" I do not have one, so I always have to pick up packages from another location Some of these cons could be chalked up as growing pains, but I tend to think an apartment complex should be at its best when it's new--at least, that was my hope in moving into a brand-new complex like Vitruvian West in 2018. What I've found instead is a poorly-designed layout for parking (seems like no biggie, except that's a daily hassle that accumulates like a snowball of frustration over time); frequent issues with things that "luxury apartments" should not have; and a layout with heavy doors and key fobs that serves to complicate residents' entering and exiting, yet proves a poor deterrent against crime within the complex. read more

Summer literally just started and I'm already experiencing the WORST noise from the pool area. When I tell you that EVERYONE and their mother comes to this pool that don't even live here... I'm not even exaggerating. I'm so over the huge parties, the loud speakers, the weed smoking, the screaming... its just too much. The office gives you 2 wristbands per resident for the pool area... but not once have I seen this rule even enforced. It's sad that we pay $1300+ for rent here and we have to endure this type of environment and nobody from the office even tries to rectify it. This beautiful property is going to be ruined if they don't do something to fix it soon. Not only that but people that live here are disgusting.. leaving trash in the hallways, people spraying drinks all over the walls, some people don't even pick up their dogs poop. A lot of the residents that live here do not have any class and are just complete lazy. read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! It's been like 3x that the alarm goes off in the morning! Sometimes at 3am 5am or 8am! Also gate never works!! And if you have a car that you don't use as much they will tow it! They towed mines and I had the tag. WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX. read more

The maintenance manager, Armando is the BEST! He comes even late hours to fix things asap- the same day or the next at the latest. He is efficient and trustworthy. Vitruvian West is lucky to have him! read more

A lot of the residents here are horrific - very noisy and trashy. Even as I write this review, I am stuck listening to droning music and cheering at the pool and have desperately tried to drown it out for the last few hours. I found a heroin needle at the top level of the parking garage and have seen bottles of liquor and beer just lying around in the garage. So many changes were made, like the door locks to get inside from the garage (which ours still doesn't work since they changed it) and a new "smart" thermostat they made everyone have installed, which is awful and does not regulate the temperature well. The fire alarm has gone off more times than I can count, the most recent being at 2:30 am on Saturday. The garage is very narrow and the morons here drive too fast around the corners and don't pay attention to the fact that someone may be coming from the opposite direction. I have come close to colliding with others who were going too fast. Another downside is that we didn't know a third building was going to be constructed in front of Phase I. We had such a lovely view, but now we are looking into a big concrete parking garage, soon to be more apartments. For how much we pay to live here, the place is certainly not worth it. read more

So far this is a perfect place for me. Close to many different things including a park with a wonderful walking trail. There are even bars within walking distance. After moving I walked right over to VPT bar kicked my feet up and had a French 75 on the patio that overlooks the park. So excited for my future here at Vitruvian West. read more

This here is the definition of a falsely advertised, fake apartment in other words, whatever you see on their website is all a facade. You will be well served by taking your apartment search elsewhere. If you visit Vitruvian apartments during the "day", you'll be made to believe that the apartments here are all that but believe me, they're not. Now if you decide that people online are just saying trash and would still like to visit this fake "luxury" apartment for yourself, well... take a pen and jot down the following so as to make these observations for yourself. 1. Of course you have to park by the leasing office so you wont notice how tiny the actual parking lot is. The chances of you waking up to dents and scratches on your car is as high as the patriots winning another Superbowl . My advise is, go to the parking lot and look at the space for your damn self, also get ready to pay additional premiums to your insurance company. 2. Of course you'll go when the unlucky and frustrated current occupants (who never got a chance to read this review) living in the apartment building are at work, so you might not notice how paper thin the apartment is. However, If you are lucky enough, with your potential neighbors home, you'll be able to hear every damn sound that comes from them, even to the faintest pin drop (I am dead serious). You should know that noise from up top is so loud you'll hate yourself. It will feel like you are in a box and someone is pounding this box really hard from multiple directions at once. My advise for you is to walk through the aisle in the apartment building and notice that you"ll hear every sound coming from occupants homes. The bottom line here is that this place is not insulated or sound proof in any way shape or form, like at all, like zero. 3. Of course they have appliances set up and all but you should also know that all their appliances are older versions. When you have a new building and older version of appliances, you can estimate for yourself how much they invested in their "luxury" building. Now the noise from their old refrigerator or ice maker or whatever is in there, will definitely drive you crazy whenever it comes on (Believe me it will). My advise for you on this is to wait in the apartment till the ice maker in the refrigerator comes on, if you don't, you'll only have yourself to blame after you move in. 4. The only positives here which i can genuinely say is that, they have key less entry to homes and also, you need a toll tag to pass through the garage gate, which means you only need to have the remote key fob and that's it. My advise for you is if having key less entry and toll tag pass makes this place "luxury" then you are better off having one of Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen dragons burn your entire rent money to the ground. If you are already used to luxury living this place is NOT for you, it is a DORMITORY and SHOULD be ADVERTISED as such. read more
