The staff here was very friendly once it came to the inside workers. The staff working security looked like they didn't want to be here whatsoever. It was easy finding where I was sitting for the evening because there were many signs and ushers to help point the way. The box that I was staying in was amazing, only consisting of about six people. The three in the front were a little lower so I didn't have any of my view blocked. I noticed if you are higher up in regular seats, you may need to shift around the people in front of where you are sitting. The theater had a great sound system and the place was very clean and up to date. Prices for food and drink was crazy, going from a start of $15 and up from there for a glass of wine or mixed drink. I felt safe the entire time I was here from the security they had, including police.

What makes Mango Rita's so special is the incredible lineup of tribute bands they bring in every week. If you grew up on the music of the 70s, 80s, and 90s like we did, this place is a dream. We've seen amazing tributes to bands like KISS, Duran Duran, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe and more--and the quality of the bands is outstanding. In fact, the shows are so good that we sometimes plan our trips to Fort Myers around which bands are playing! Beyond the music, the atmosphere is fantastic and the crowd always seems to be having a great time. It's one of those places where everyone is there to enjoy the music and have fun. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, J.J. and her husband, and hearing their story. They previously owned one of the largest nightclubs on the East Coast in Maryland before bringing their passion for live music to Fort Myers Beach. After Hurricane Ian destroyed their original location, they rebuilt their vision further inland--and we're so glad they did. They're a wonderful couple and you can tell how much heart they put into this place. If you love live music, especially classic rock and iconic bands, Mango Rita's Rhythm Room is an absolute must-visit. The best prime rib I've ever had should get 10 stars. My sister had the Patty Melt. She's so hard to please and she loved it. They have a full bar and ice cold beer. We were also full and we couldn't even finish our prime rib. It was really enough to split. It's pretty big but so good. Bring it home the next day it's just as good. We had the brownies and the cookies and let me tell you their homemade butter pecan ice cream made me a believer. That has been my least favorite of ice cream until now. Gabby offered great service. Asian inspired fish dinner however was a win with deep Asian tones and flavor that supported the generous cut of fish. Husband loved and said it was the winner of the week. I will always come back as we do love the food but the night was a little off and hope it's a one off.

Unless you purchased VIP tickets there was no shade for patrons. Additionally, no one was allowed to bring chairs so can you imagine standing 12 hours in 95 degree weather without shade---we saw plenty of evidence of red lobsters walking the grounds. Sure you could bring a blanket, but the grounds were covered in litter, empty plastic water bottles and aluminum beer bottles strewn about, despite garbage cans nearby and no staff to clean the grounds during the festivities. The festivities took place next to Jet Blue Park and the setup was pretty basic: many vending stations to buy water and beer (Bud Light, Bud, and Miller Light), a tent labeled MERCH around it where you could find t-shirts, food stands consisting of BBQ, chicken, and a few other offerings. We came in the evening after dinner. We found free parking, however, regular parking near the venue was $20 per day. I agree with other patrons that security was a little too restrictive. People should be able to bring their own light chairs. Of course this was a rock concert so when we were standing at the last show of the night only a few paces away when the Mosh Pitt erupted. I was reminded why I shouldn't hang out too close to the stage. I'm not sure what I expected but it was underwhelmed by this experience. It's hard to believe this whole thing would set folks back 360$ for the two days. Needless to say we won't be back.

One of my favorites bands growing up was Def Leppard and when I heard they were playing so close to home I had to see them! I have been putting this review off because I simply cannot find words to appropriately convey my feelings about it. I will start by saying that parking was a breeze, $20 but there was a lot of spots available when we got there. We got there in time to see the last three bands, Papa Roach, Chevelle and Def Leppard. There were two stages. Papa Roach and Deff Leppard preformed on the same stage, while Chevelle played on another. We initially wanted to see all three, but after Papa Roach, we decided to move up to the front of the stage to wait for the main show. People was pretty cool and orderly for such an event. You would think that all those head bangers and all that booze and weed would equal a bad combination, but everyone was pretty respectful for the most part. We got pretty close to the front and jammed to some of the best tunes of the 80's. Def Leppard was phenomenal! They still got it even after being around for 40 years. This was a very small fry venue for them, but even so, they put on an amazing show. Lights, sound and displays were full on. Best concert Ive seen. And I have been to some pretty big shows, but this one, even on a smaller stage took the cake. I was so sad when it was over. The whole experience overall was great. It was a lot more organized than I thought, in fact I was a little weary that I'd see fights, people getting sick all over. Not the case. Leaving also was very easy. I would do is again in a heartbeat. Fort Rock ROCKS!

What an experience…read more.. I'm a self-proclaimed thrifting fanatic, and I grew up loving to go to flea markets and priced-per-pound places with my grandma. Maybe it was the heat, but this fleamarket just wasn't hitting when I visited. SETUP: You can really get your steps in here! Park and remember where you parked, then head in. Tons of shops to explore - like miles of it - and it's all covered. It's open air so no AC, but many shops have fans and some have AC running. They have each lane color coded on the floor, so you can remember you started in the red lane, then went to blue, etc. We still got lost haha. FOOD/DRINK: There are restaurants and bars here! Very fun to get a beer to drink while you walk. Most of the food was food truck style - pretty greasy and hot, which didn't appeal to us. SHOPS: This was the disappointing part for me. Maybe it's just not my style, but I was bummed to see it was mostly cheap bulk items and poorly made stuff at that. The t-shirt shops were selling cheap, misprinted Fort Myers stuff - but the prices weren't that crazy good? And they didn't have true tourist stores with souvenirs more than just t-shirts. Some of the shoe stores had some decent deals, a few record store scores, and I LOVED the few well-curated vintage shops inside. But otherwise, it was a lot of stuff I happily passed on. Some of the vendors were a bit pushy (the spa/skincare ones) but otherwise most left us be to browse. Even as a fan of thrifting, I found this to be overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time and likely won't be back.
