Dr. Johansen (recently retired) is kind, empathetic, patient, and adamant that I had the best care. My surgery was postponed due to COVID-19, and he advocated for me in a way I have never seen from a doctor. Post-op, he called me 1-2x a week to make sure I was doing okay. I also had the opportunity to build a relationship with the administrative staff (specifically, Cynthia and Chris). I had to call them frequently to ask for paperwork support. They were always patient and hilarious. Because of my health, I've been to a lot of different healthcare offices - very rarely will you find people SO invested in you as a patient. They're quick to respond to emails, and will go the extra mile to make sure that you are taken care of.

Instead we were on time, yet we were the ones that didn't get seen. Maybe the office should revisit their current policy for late arrivals. If they are 10-15 minutes late have them reschedule their appointments so as not to back up clients that come in on time.. 1 Star

The person who posted that review went on a 2 mile bike ride right after surgery so that's definitely not the doctors fault. I had an incredible experience with the doctor, nursing staff, and the entire office. I am someone who is scared of doctors and they made my care as calm as possible. I had an incredible surgery and my after care was better than I could have imagined. I had no complications and my surgical scars are almost completely gone. They took no accountability to say "we include excessive bleeding" as being normal which I call BI will never go back and do not recommend them to anyone. If I could I would give them ZERO stars. I waited weeks for this appointment and received this message as I was walking in from the parking lot 3 min late. I have previously waited 20 min when they were delayed and had no issue w it. Another time I was 7 min late (traffic) but paid for my session anyway. I do understand that a business needs to keep customer bookings on time but the experience of being cancelled 3 min in was beyond extreme, that could be the difference between 2 people's watch's. You need to set expectations of how early you want clients to show up and wait so that they will not be considered late and cancelled.
