I went here twice on the opening week and I can honestly say that this place has amazing, if not the best bubble tea I've ever had! The first time I got a Lychee fruit tea, which was my personal favorite. It had the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness, and the tapioca pearls were perfectly soft! The second time I got a Lychee slush and it was also very great and refreshing on a hot day, just a bit too sweet for me personally. Regarding the food, I tried the takoyaki and curry chicken. The takoyaki was soooo good! They were warm, soft and the octopus had a great contrasting firm texture. The curry chicken was okay, I personally felt like it was a bit salty and I couldn't pick up much on the curry flavor, but still good! The owner was also there on both days and she was very, very sweet and patient while we decided on what we wanted to drink and eat. I'm so happy that Vivi's finally on the island!! read more

Finally, a bubble tea place worth mentioning on Staten Island. The Vivi chain finally made its way to the forgotten borough. I visited a day after it opened and was informed of their BOGO offer. NOTE: If you do get the bogo, you have to get the same drink. I got the 3Q bubble tea and its just regular milk tea with 3 toppings (grass jelly, pudding, and tapioca). The tapioca is not as good as other boba places I've tried out. The pudding was delicious and grass jelly balanced out the overall sweetness. Vivi's decor is super girly and instagrammable, they also have a backyard space (haven't explored it yet). The workers were kind and answered all my questions as well. Vivi's location is perfect and located on the main strip of Forest ave where there are other restaurants to eat at. read more

This is the only ViVi where they serve the popcorn chicken is a small plastic container. Other ViVi always serves it in a white paper bag with the skewer sticks. It's half the portion here compared to other ViVi locations but at the same price.. I would not recommend this place. read more

I'm so thankful this place is so close to my house I remember seeing the place under construction while on the bus and I immediately had to find out when it opened, so I could go on opening day. I've had their 3 Q milk tea, passion fruit tea, and brown sugar latte. So far, no complaints and the staff is really friendly and can speak English. The drinks have the perfect amount of sweetness at regular level. I especially liked the brown sugar latte because it tastes like caramel and the milk reminds of the milk from Hong Kong, which is slightly sweeter than standard American milk. I've yet to try their fried chicken, but I've heard it's good. They've got takoyaki too and it makes me wonder if they'll have ramen one day because some of the Manhattan locations do. read more

NEGATIVE FIVE STARS: Customer service sucks!!! We were there, ordered 7 drinks, (10.26.18 @ 7:30pm). The girl gave me a wrong drink and said they never or never do red bean match SLUSHY. She gave us a look as if we're the one wrong. Its advertised on the screen and on their cashier's monitor. So long story short, i accepted the wrong drink! After few minutes, the girl finally made a new one and yelled on the counter with an attitude saying "here's the red bean matchy slushy, can somebody get it?" She almost squeezed the plastic cup while putting it on the table. She is so mean, as if we're not customers. Customers are not always right, but we deserve to be treated right!!! They shouldn't be doing business is they cant show any kindness or being friendly to people. That girl need to be fired!!! read more

Been a fan of ViVi since it was on Bayard Street in the city, the drinks are always good, the milk teas tend to be a bit sweet but if you just tell them to put less sweetener then its perfect. The popcorn chicken is delicious and the potions are generous, be prepared to wait about 5-10 minutes for the chicken as its made fresh but it is absolutely worth the wait. read more
