I use to come to this salon previously when Sam and Vicky were the owners. I came here for the first time for pedicure and acrylic gel nails. I am very satisfied for their outstanding service and how quick they are. I called in the same day and they were able to get me in. I was helped by Phillip and another lady that did my pedicure. I was in and out within an hour!! It's great! They also have variety of Colors and styles to do the nails. They have the dip in feature which is nice and even quicker!! I will definitely return. I came here a few weeks ago for a gel french manicure & a regular pedicure. Vivian was very nice & welcoming but i wasn't to impressed with the way she did my pedicure. She didn't ask me if i wanted my toenails cut down which i didn't even realize until i got home lol & she didn't do a good job at painting the nails, i had to ask if she could fix them. As for the gel manicure, i felt like it was super rushed & not what i paid for. One of the nails literally chipped the next day & i wasn't even doing anything rough for them to chip. I had to go back & get it fixed which they didn't charge me for. But it was overall a crappy job & didn't last long at all. i've already picked them all off since they were all so badly chipped anyways. I don't plan on coming back here. read more

Went in for a fill appt time was at 1:00pm at 1:35pm a customer walked in who had an appt at 3pm asking to be taken 2 whole hours earlier than her appt so Philip asked me to move to his wife Vivian's station so that he could take her. Unfortunately Vivian is terrible at nails and couldn't execute a French tip. After she struggled until 2:30 she polished over the French and put hideous gold flakes on them. I would like to start this review by saying I'm the first to skip a bad review and only leave positive ones. I moved to Temecula last January and work in SD, and have stayed loyal after years to my current nail salon, but for my honeymoon I was running low on time and decided to try this place which is close to my home. At first, I was impressed with the friendliness (from Vivian-wife) and the salon presentation. But after I choose the $50 pedicure and then the $15 Gel option as well as a fill and realized after a few days that both my toes and fingernails chipped I was bummed. I went back and even shared it when I returned and they never offered a discount to fix my nails and again after another fill they chipped again and so I decided to ask for a free fix. It was only 3 days after a $35 fill before tip and the owner said it was my fault. Refused to admit something went wrong on his end and told me to go somewhere else. This was shocking and says a lot about their business. Like I said, this is not an easy review for me to leave but I want to warn new customers to beware. :-( read more

The location is perfect and the work is great. However in Temecula a lot of nail salons are great and price should be considered. I went in due to time and location and needed a simple fill and one fix. Yes I have ombre nails, yet it is still a fill once the nails are done ( right?) I should of asked price , I usually don't and have expected a similar price in most similar nail salons... which has never beeen more then 30.00 for the exact same thing I got. Well after about 45 min, the quickest fill I ever had I was charged 45.00 more then I have ever paid. That's high for a fill, anywhere. read more

These days it is not uncommon to receive poor service, especially post-pandemic. But what I just experienced at Vivian's Nail and Spa on 7/28/22 was UTTER DISRESPECT and I need to share that with others. This was my first time at this nail salon- when I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by a lady in the front who asked me to take a seat and wait. I patiently waited for about 10 minutes (no big deal) until a gentleman (PHILIP- THE OWNER) sat down to assist me. I kindly greeted him and he said "Okay what do you need?" I told him I wanted a new acrylic set, almond shaped nails. I then asked him if I can show him a picture of what I want (for some reason, some nail technicians get offended when you show them a picture, don't ask me why). I proceeded to explain the kind of shape I want, then he cut me off and abruptly said "I know I know what that shape is." (At this point he has been rude like twice already, but I let it go). He then started working on my hands, which were placed oddly on this weird apparatus instead of a flat hand rest like other places. He twisted and bended my wrist, almost with hostility, then said "relax your hand." At this point I'm getting really frustrated by how rude and just generally negative this guy is (not to mention how physically uncomfortable he made me by twisting my wrist more than once). When he placed the acrylic tips, I noticed that one hand was much shorter than the other because he was rushing. At that point, I started to inspect one hand while he was working on the other. I was minding my business and staring AT MY OWN HAND when he snapped and said "Don't look at your nails until I am done." OK NOW I HAD TO SAY SOMETHING. I had given this guy multiple chances and I finally spoke up. I responded with "I can look at my own hands and nails anytime I want- you don't get to dictate when I look at my hands." His response was "when you stare at your hands before I am finished, it makes me uncomfortable." BRO, I just came here to get my nails done, not feed your ego or make YOU comfortable! It just went south from there, until I told him that I am paying for a service he has chosen to provide and I can very easily go somewhere else for that service. He left me there with unfinished acrylic tips and stood up and walked away (as you can imagine my jaw is pretty much on the floor by now). Ultimately his pregnant wife Vivian sat down and removed the acrylic tips for me so that I didn't walk out of there with unfinished nails like an idiot. Vivian was very sweet and caring, and I still gave her gratuity for her kindness even after the horrific encounter I just had with PHILIP. Luckily I found a nail salon down the street that gave me incredible service. I am tired of biting my tongue to appease business owners like this who should be grateful for the patrons that are supporting their craft. Clearly this EGOTISTICAL, INSECURE, CHAUVINISTIC, and RUDE person named Philip could not handle an honest and confident woman telling him exactly what he needed to hear. Perhaps he should visit Rose Nails and Spa down the street and get some customer service training from the staff there, I think he would really benefit from it. Good luck to anyone who chooses to go there, especially to Vivian who is stuck married to this guy. :( read more
