I have thick eyebrows that grow super fast, including my upper lip. Stephanie always gets them looking perfect. She makes both my brows look identical with the same arch, same thickness, and same distance from my nose. I've never been this satisfied with a waxer before. I would say this location doesn't have great customer service. I booked an appointment online well in advanced and even filled out their pre-checkin paperwork 2 days prior to my appointment. I showed up to my scheduled appointment (6/25 at 3pm) to find a note on the door stating they had closed due to a power outage. There was no indication of the date/time of the closure. That's understandable but a notification via phone/voicemail/email/text would have been appropriate. They have no issues with marketing communications or providing appointment reminders a day or two before you scheduled appointment. When I called their store phone number an employee answered the phone. I don't know who answered because her phone etiquette was terrible. She asked if I received a voicemail about the store closure then asked if I needed to be rescheduled. Not once did she apologize for the lack in communication because god forbid she understand that when clients make appointments it's usually around the time that fits best for them. read more

It doesn't hurt! (As bad as I've been lead to believe). I had been going to get sugar waxed for over a year. The hairs never got thinner (like they claimed it would) and no; It never got easier. It hurts just as much the first time as it did the 11th time . Fast forward to having a membership with sugar wax... (you lose the service you don't use) and when I got I'll I couldn't go. Sorry but I don't believe in that type of customer service. Fast forward to today. I'm going on a trip and decided to give waxing another chance. Best choice I could've done. I tried to do it online (which is easy but call for better guidance. They help guide you) anyhow...Alexis helped with my appointment and Zooey knocked it out of the park. Thank you both! I booked my appointment on Monday, for today Wednesday 7/24 at 7pm. They called me yesterday (Tuesday) to confirm. It was confirmed! Then today they called to tell me they were closing due to their ac not running. I had called again later today to see if they had re opened just to be sure because that is my closest location. When i called they told me they're open but my appointment was cancelled due to not confirming. Then they said i can rebook for tomorrow and when i told them i need it today, they told me they can't because the girl had gone home. So im not sure what is going on with this location but luckily enough the Temecula parkway location was able to take me. I'm extremely disappointed. read more

I think ewc needs to rethink their business model. Went in for an appointment this week and was informed my wax technician was QUITING! I am a creator of habit. Also no one wants a bunch of people looking at their muff. They already only allow a Brazilian in a 15 minute window. Which I like to call an express wax. If you add on multiple services. The time limit doesn't change most technicians will rush to fulfill this commitment. Leaving you with a half done job telling you that you hair cycle isn't in sync. Well of course not you only had 15 minutes not 1 minute more to rip the hair from my lady bits. Now when you call you don't go straight to the center you get a weird call center that I rather book my appointments online or drive to do in person. They invested in random people answering the phone instead of putting the money where it counts to the technician and receptionist. Not a great way to invest your money. If I knew a bunch of these changes were happening I would have never brought the wax pass only 2 people kept me going back to this place and now they are no longer here. Wonder how long it will take them to figure out the need to do something different every 4 weeks I was going in and there would be a new name. This place has a HIGH turn over rate. EWC I really hope you get it together. I would like to give it a 1 star because good people are leaving. Nothing worse then going to your appointment and you check in no one talks to you. The only reason why it's getting a 5 star is because Alexis is the best!! Her communication skills go above and beyond. She has a knack for making people feel comfortable. I appreciate the conversation before and after my wax appointment. Also kayleen she took her time she would ask what I needed. I appreciate the jokes and good laughter.
