I had my son-in-law install the part, who is an IT director, and once installed it just beeped and beeped. Never worked. I asked to cancel my service and stopped paying by turning off my credit card for auto payments. But OH NO, I have a 2 year contract & they threaten to send me to collections. They don't support their own product and god forbid if you want someone to service it. You do it yourself. I finally got pissed off and mailed it back to them. Of course, they said it worked perfectly. Do you think they would have given me a new console, since mine was several years old and now had parts updated by THEM? Of course not. They sent it back and I plugged it in, and it did the same thing. As pissed off as I was at that moment I ripped it off the wall and threw the damn thing across the room, then picked up the pieces and threw in the trash. I've been paying for this piece of crap with no service for over a year. Here's the best part, when I caught up on my past due payments a few days after I paid, they charge my new credit card, without my authorization, for $179. They could never explain what that was for. Now I had proof, so I filed a fraudulent complaint with my bank. I got the money refunded by the bank, and Link never acknowledged it, but it no longer shows the charge. Today I sent them a certified check for the balance and told them again to CANCEL my account. NOW my contract with this awful company is over. Don't do business with them, it doesn't matter that you've been a long time customer, they don't give a crap!

When I have an issue, I tried to resolve it with Elise, who is completely unprofessional, verbally combative, and snippy. Our system has ALWAYS been set to call us on our cells first, not the two way system. Of course, they proclaim differently. Law enforcement was dispatched, which we are charged for a false alarm. I guess 14 years as a customer means nothing to them. However, then they reply that they strive for the best customer experience and would love to make it right, if given the opportunity. FACT: They were given the opportunity and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to make it right. In reviewing several reviews on various sites and platforms, it is evident that their model in business has focused more on greed and less on customer satisfaction. For the record, I have no problem paying more for better service, and I understand that prices increase over the years. What I dont understand and nor will I accept, that customer service goes by the way side. I will continue to share my experience on every platform, social media site, and as a professional in marketing and providing public speaking across the US, thus will become my new opening of how not to treat customers.

Yes, you will pay more than you would in the kiosk at Wally World but there are several things they can do here that cannot be done in a kiosk. Bent / broken keys - they can usually cut them. They still have the old machines that allow the tech to apply his craft and cut broken or bent keys. The big boxes cannot do that. Re-keying - They do this. It's a nominal fee but they will do it and do it right. Odd keys - They have them and they cut them without any issues. The round, barrel keys, etc, that the big boxes don't have are in stock here. These guys are good to deal with. I've had several odd ball keys cut here and watched their service with other folks as well. They save you money and try and repair what you have before trying to sell you brand new. Need keys and locks? This is your shop.

I use them at a few of my commercial facilities and have found them to be very effective. Luckily for me, the only alarms we have received so far have been user error (power outage, someone not disabling the alarm in time, etc). I've received the proper phone calls when those alarms go off and the staff have always been great to work with. The hardware is simple and easy to use, and the phone app makes it super easy to disable an alarm before I walk into a building, which is helpful when I have my arms full and don't want to fumble with the keypad. In this wild world, I'm glad we have Mountain Alarm to keep us just a little bit safer.
