Here's my French gel manicure, which I love!

Absolutely fabulous! Just had a gel, Mani and pedicure with V and she was meticulous! I already booked my appointment for three weeks from today. You get your moneys worth it's clean. Everything is sanitary and the vibe is great.

I absolutley love my nails! I didn't have an appointment, and luckily they were able to take me right away. Nails came out exactly as I hoped the would. Staff was friendly too!

Chipped and streaky polish not even 12 hours later.

The staff here is extremely rude, the quality of work is poor due to their cheap polishes, and it's not clean or Covid-compliant. The staff will speak about their clients in Spanish in front of them, and the Nail Techs don't listen to what you want. I specifically asked to keep my Length and the nail tech filed them so short there was no more white. They claim they're not using fans because of Covid (even though every other local salon is) but they don't enforce mask policies. Regular manicure is $15 and they have knock off nail polish, any OPI/Essie is old and separated.

I usually go here just to get an eyebrow wax on my lunch break. they are quick and reasonably priced. recently I went to treat myself for a pedi with gel polish and a full set of acrylic with gel polish. I could not be happier with my result!! the tech totally was down to help me reach my nail goals. very talented. the girls are hilarious and welcoming as well. they didn't mind at all that I wanted my tips a little short. some nail techs get weird about it but they were cool about it. I recommend vivis to everyone in the area!!

I went to take off my acrylic with them, didn't even get them done there, and had to leave because they didn't know what they were doing I was telling them they were ripping layers of my nail off with the acrylic pieces and they said it was fine that it would look good/ be okay. This isn't the worst nail salon I've ever been to, but it isn't the best either. The staff here seems friendly and the prices are reasonable, but I prefer sticking with my usual place. I was happy with a gel manicure I had done here last year, but was disappointed with a regular manicure I got today. The technician look her time, but the quality of the polish did not seem to be very good. All of my nails had air bubbles when they dried. I was on my lunch break so I didn't have enough time to ask her to fix it. I also wish the atmosphere was a little better. No music or TV, just a woman having a dramatic conversation on her cellphone half the time I was there.

decided to try Vivi's again after bad experiences before, not just me but several people. (made my friend bleed once, and put nail glue in the wound) Thought I would try again as that was years ago, but nothing has changed. I one, did not feel welcome and felt employee was rude because I asked her to change something. I already specified what I wanted done, but she did the opposite.I received a very poorly shaped acrylic set. Many nails were glued on crooked. The actual gel was not filed enough on top, making my nails look chunky and unfinished. asked for coffin shaped and each nail is crooked and doesn't match. A day later the gel also became faded and scratched. huge waste of $90 go literally anywhere else. read more

This salon is my new favorite since I moved to the neighborhood a year ago. Vivi and her staff are the most talented and professional. They are friendly, clean, and very efficient. From nails to eyelashes and waxing they do it all.... and do it great! I recently read a poor review that was one stay by a person named Lys. I am confident she is mistaken on this salon. She mist have the WRONG Vivi. There is another one in W. Islip that matches her photos and is not affiliated with Farmingdale salon. YELP should take this down as it reflects poorly on their business reputation that they work so hard to obtain. Highly recommended!!! read more

I only went here because i didn't have time to go to my usual spot. It was very unorganized and the color selection was limited for pedicure. Some of the nail polish on their display looked old and dried out. I didn't feel relaxed. I would not recommend this salon and also it was overpriced for a sloppy rushed pedicure. They did my prom nails and they look atrocious. The shape is wildly uneven and the color is bumpy. The design was messy. I think the owner did my nails and she was distracted the entire time, Answering calls, talking to incoming customers. Terrible experience read more

I think by far this is one of the best salons that I have been to. I got my nails done by a lady named vivi and she did sooooooo amazing. All I did was show her the picture and she copied it to the bone. I got a lot of compliments unlike all the other nail salons that I've been to and I highly recommend this place if you want good quality work for a decent price. read more

Viví did my eyelashes and I'm in love with them. I have very sparse lashes due to chemotherapy and she has bought me back to life. She even drew in my eyebrows for me. I'll definitely be returning to do microblading on my brows and a fill in for my lashes. Viví is very professional, sweet, and kind. The salon is very clean and everyone is friendly. read more

I am so happy Vivis Nail Salon was requested to me. I left another salon that I felt was not very personable and always way too crowded. Vivis nail and spa is a wonderful fit for me. I am very upset . I have been coming here since March 2020 and had Leah as a nail tech so far she was good until starting in April she painted my nails with the fashion name brands tattoos that fell off after a few days of getting it done . Yesterday May 28 I had an appointment with Leah she did a "Marble " Nails for me 5 hours later my nails ruined .. Next Day May 29th I returned to get my nails repaired and I have to say I am very ashamed and brokered hearted to see Nail Techs laughing at myself and my nails for one I am a well paid customer who never complains so I should not be laughed at .. the disrespect I am. very hurt I don't think I will be returning ..If a staff does not know how to do nails do not let her do nails than and if you are aware of this matter she should e doing manicures only . OVERRATED & SNOBBY LADY who I believe is the OWNER is super UNPROFESSIONAL and rude!!! I have been here a few times because I go to school in the area and I would strongly recommend you don't waste time or money at this place .Worst nail salon EVER the lady told me the wait was 10 min .. 40min later they blatantly seated TWO other walk-ins before me cause they "forgot " Also they are really dirty don't sanitize the nail stations or wash hands after each client so.. enough said lol read more

Came to Vivi's for the first time today since my regular place was closed. I called and asked if I needed an appointment or if I could just walk in and I got lucky that they were able to accommodate me. They're all so friendly and I was very happy with my gel fill in. The prices are reasonable, but I noticed something about a massage costing extra on their sign. I didn't say anything but I was kind of surprised they don't include a little shoulder rub- that's my favorite part at the end of a mani! I thought my nails came out well, and I do intend to return - I liked how fast my nails were done. But the underside of my nails weren't cleaned either. I think I need to return a few more times to leave a more accurate review- but this is what I've got for now! Thanks for squeezing me in today Vivi I look forward to returning! read more

I always get the SNS powder manicure. Usually lasts three weeks easily from the place I go. Thought I would give them a try. Went on Wednesday. Today is Friday and it's all chipped off! Biggest waste of $35 ever. I am so upset. The girls are very nice but do not waste your time or money. read more

Extremely happy with this place, they always accommodate me with my busy schedule, Vivi and Anna are the best, they go above and beyond for you to be happy with their work, Vivi even guarantees the gel manicure to last more than a week if not she'll do it over again. Who does that nowadays? No one that I know, I don't understand the negative reviews without pictures to prove it, if I'm not happy with something I make sure to post pictures to backup my reviews but I guess not everyone think the same way read more

I've been to so many nail salons and they never work out for me. I love this nail salon so much and the owner vivi is so humble beautiful inside and out. The nail technicians are very attentive and joyful. I've built a very strong friendship with one of the nail techs, Ana from the first day she was sweet, funny and amazing with the way she does acrylics. I always get them done by her. Maria has done my acrylics about 2 times and both times I loved them And the prices are very comfortable. Please give this place a visit. You won't want to go any where else. read more

I went to vivi nails maybe 6 times total. Today I had to go in for my nail to get fixed since it broke. I was there on Saturday for a filling. When I went today they fixed my nail with a tip and UV gel plus color gel and they didn't charge me! I used to only to go to "the best spots in Queens" and found it hard to find a good spot in Long Island - Farmingdale. I couldn't believe they didn't charge me! Came to Vivi after a friend of mine recommended her to have my eyebrows microbladed. She was very professional and explained the procedure in detail. Microblading is a treatment where they tattoo eyebrows onto your face using a small tool with a tiny blade. The salon was clean and Vivi was meticulous and took her time perfecting my eyebrows. She is truly an artist when it comes to Microblading. I would highly recommend her!! read more
