I really hate to leave a less-than-steller review for a small business, but I was just surprised that such a highly rated place did not meet my expectations. The staff were very nice and courteous. They took me in as a walk-in right away on opening. I needed a mani pedi, so I picked a color from their wall, which had a good selection of polish, though some looked very old and dated. Their pedicure chairs were nice and well kept. The service I thought was ok, since the technician took such a long time on my feet and hands. Unfortunately, the final product was not that good. My cuticles were not taken care of properly, which resulted in the manicure job flaking and looking messy immediately. It made me sad because if all I needed was color on my nails, I could do it myself and do a similar job. The pedicure was very uneven. I think they are used to doing gels, powders, and intricate nails, maybe they were having a hard time with doing a regular old manicure job. read more

Nice, clean place that was accommodating to me because I was stuck in traffic and arrived late to my appointment. I got nail extensions with dip powder and SNS with a design for $52, which is the best price I've seen for all of that. I just moved to Farmingdale and wanted to find a new nail place. I have been to a few others and wasn't happy and then I found Lojoso. It's a small quiet salon where you can relax . Have been coming here recently on a recommendation from my friend and I love the fact that they do all "that fancy stuff ". You can literally show a picture of what you want and they pretty much do it exactly as shown. It's a small place with only 3 techs so they are appointment only. Just keep in mind that it can be pricey for the fancy things but it really is so worth it bc they take their time and are obviously talented. read more

Since the opening- this establishment has been A+ Beautiful work- clean and happy environment! Clean- Beyond! Each person gets their own disposable kit- each foot bath is lined, and the employees do an excellent job! I was the last appt. I went in today and the place was beautiful! I was a very big fan of the salon there prior so I was extremely skeptical trying this new place. I'm so happy I tried it today. I had Rachel do my nails and she was amazing! She's extremely gentle, made me feel extremely comfortable& welcomed. I cannot say enough good things about this salon. First time here, and I was really blown away by their service. First impression, the place is super clean. The floors, manicure stations, pedicure tubs. Everything looks very well taken care of. Rachel took care of me for a gell mani. She applied this nail polish stuff, kind of thick, to take off my old gell polish. Which I never saw before, but kind of liked because the nails aren't scraped or filed down too much. The manicure was great, and I got an amazing neck massage that was part of the manicure. On the way out, they gave me a gift certificate so my next visit would be almost half off. I found this place online and I wanted to try it out because it got amazing reviews. I called to try and make an appointment but there was no answer. I decided to just drive over and see if I could get my nails done or make an appointment. Once I walked in, I instantly felt not welcomed. I stood there for about a minute and then finally one of the girls at the nail table asked if I needed help. I asked if I could have a manicure and pedicure. She said no because they were booked for the day. She didn't give me an option to book for another day, she just went back to doing the clients nails and looked away from me. I felt as if my business was not wanted nor did she care about me wanting to schedule an appointment to come back. It seems from the reviews that their service is great but I will never return to a place that made me feel so uncomfortable and not welcomed. read more

This is a new nail salon in N. Massapequa which happens to be amazing. To be honest, there are a million nail salons in our neighborhood and I have probably tried all of them. My sister suggested I try Lojoso on N Broadway. I am so glad I did. The place is spotless and they take amazing care to be sure everything is perfect. Rachel and Lojoso has now become my only place to go. I get a gel fill in and gel polish with her. She is quick and precise. Not to mention has a great personality. My last fill-in has lasted 5 weeks and if there was not new nail growth, I could go longer. She is honest and NEVER pushes any others services.
