The worst manicure and pedicure I have ever gotten. The nail tech rushed and did the pedi in less than 15 minutes. The manicure looks like a child did my nails. My cuticules are all messy. On top of that, all of the nail polishes at the salon are old! Every nail polish I picked up was almost empty. The color I chose, the nail tech had to keep adding polish thinner to. They have the nerve to charge $55 for a basic manicure and pedicure, especially one that was done so quickly and looks horrible. If you are going to charge premium prices, give premium services. I have been coming to this salon for years (since before the remodel three years ago). The last year or so this place has gone downhill. They are completely unprofessional. They overbook, cut corners and gaslight you when you try to ask for what you want. I make an appointment with a specific nail tech and they'll double book him. I'll wait 30-40 minutes after my appointment start time and then they'll try to pass me around from nail tech to nail tech to "save time" and "get me started until he's ready." Several times they've tried to have the owner shape or even paint my nails and she is not a nail tech and does not do a good job. They try to pressure you into trying trends and then charge you extra for them. Truly have not had a pleasant experience with the staff in over a year. Paul is the only reason I keep coming back. There are a few nail techs who do good work (a majority of them don't unfortunately), but Paul is on another level. He gets my gel x done in 30-45 minutes and they always come out perfect. He doesn't rush, he's just that good. He's very nice, but keeps small talk to a minimum. It's the perfect experience for me and I always walk out pleased when he does my nails from start to finish. It's disappointing that I have to keep dealing with all the bs of this place, just so Paul can do my nails. I may finally go look for a new tech because the last few experiences have been so unpleasant. It's not the nail techs' fault that the ownership is poorly managed and unprofessional, but eventually I'll have had enough unless they start to turn it around soon. read more

Absolutely wonderful experience, very clean. I made an appointment in advance for a gel powder manicure ($45). It came out great! They had many nice colors to choose from. My nail tech was so thorough with each step. She did 3 coats of the gel powder, shaped them up nicely to perfection a few times and went over it with top coat 3 times. Love the color and shine! She also washed her hands and gave me a brief back massage (something we've all been missing). As for COVID precautions- best experience I've had at a nail salon within the past few months. They check your temperature and give you sanitizer upon entering. The nail techs and staff are all wear masks, customers are required to wear them as well. There are shields between you and the techs in both the mani and pedi sections. My tech washed her hands before starting my nails and again before the massage. So I had to buy the same color polish and "fix" it somehow myself. And they charged me more cause it wasn't powder gel. So meaning, I had to pay more for the old gel or the bad job. I got a spa pedicure and full extensions with dip powder. I have to say I have never spent that much money before but they did a lovely job, they were all very very nice, and the spa pedicure was relaxing and soothing to my aching feet. The pedicure chairs are all updated, their sanitizing procedures are on point, and it's not noisy like some places so you really can relax. I recently moved to Long Beach and have tried salons in the area but nothing compares, so I drive a half-hour to I Memory to get my nails done once a month. So happy iMemory is back open. I tried no less than 5 other local nail salons while they were remodeling and none of them could even compare to the service, quality and attention to detail that you receive at iMemory. The new salon is gorgeous. Very light, bright and modern. They have made nice investments into the design and products. They bought 12 brand new pedicure chairs and each manicure station has a plexiglass partition between you and your nail tech PLUS they have little cubby holes for the UV lights underneath each manicure station. So no more having to swap hands around or find space to put the UV light on the table. They really do make you feel like family here and definitely give you extra special treatment and care and want to make sure you are 100% satisfied. Yuki and her sister celine are so sweet as are the staff. Jason is my go-to for my nails. He always asks how I'm doing and how my kids are. Amazing massage and attention to detail and nail shape. They are also running a special now on the spa pedicures where if you also get a gel mani you receive either a free 10 or 15 min back massage. Found this spot in yelp and decided to check it out because of the reviews. I'm really glad that I did. I went and while it was busy, I was seated within 5minutes or less. I was treated like a queen by Leo. I seriously had the best damn pedicure I've ever had. I opted for the Dead Sea salt one. There were a lot of options. I could have knocked out Asleep with how great the massage was. I also got a regular manicure. While all of this was amazing, the absolute best part of this and the real reason this place is getting 5 stars is because the lady who did was eyebrows did them flawlessly! It's hard to find someone who knows what they're doing. I love it! The location was very clean, neat and there were so many options for nails color and such. I can't say it enough, of all the nail salons on Long Island, this is the cleanest & most creative one I've ever been too. I've never gotten so many compliments on my nails before. I did the powder gel as a base and color gel for the designs. The first time I went my nails lasted a full 3 weeks. I've exclusively been seeing Vivi for my nails. Vivi is very thorough and makes sure everything from the shape to the design & even the cuticles are completely symmetrical. The amount of work Vivi puts in both times I've seen her is sooooo appreciated. The services do not feel rushed and you can tell she loves what she does. Very expensive!!!!!! Which is why I gave them 3 stars. To get a callus remover included in a pedicure it's $58. The pedicure was absolutely nothing special. Otherwise, it's $10 added for callus remover. They charge you $1 if you include tip on a credit card (I never carry cash), & I've never had that extra fee at any other nail salon. their powder gel is $45. The picture included is an ombré, so it was a little more. I will no longer get a pedicure there if I go for my nails.. which is the only reason why I will go back. My nails come out the most beautiful here! I guess I will just bring a book and talk with my friend while we soak our nails instead of getting the pedicure before a new powder gel fill in. They say they increased prices because their product prices have gone up, but no other nail salon charges this much.... their saving grace is they really do beautiful nails. I've also had better covid precautions at other salons. There's no dividers when your getting a manicure or pedicure. Just a flimsy (now bottoms are rolling up from being old I assume) plastic covering infront of you when you're getting a pedicure. Nothing between you and other customers. I Memory was easily the top nail spa in Massapequa. Over the course of the last 6 months, it has completely went downhill. They overbook, make you wait, cut corners, have gotten extremely cheap, and the overall manicure does not come out well. I got a pedicure last week and the woman doing them didn't exfoliate my legs or use the callus remover scrubber. I asked her why she didn't do those steps and she stated "we are busy, I don't have time" I was in shocked when she stated that. But since I loved the place so much, I came back the following week. I got Uv builder gel on my nails. They came out absolutely horrible and she did them so fast. She did not put enough of the builder on my nails so the whole perimeter of my nails was not filled in. See the photo below. It looks like I had a few days pass and the nail started to grow, but in reality she didn't put enough builder near the cuticle. Lastly, she put TWO TINY drops of cuticle gel on TWO nails and used that for the whole hand. They use to pour the cuticle gel on it, making sure every nail got covered. So sad and so disappointed. I didn't have an appointment, so I was expecting to have to wait a while, but they were extremely friendly and professional and were able to take me very soon. The nail tech was very gentle with my nails and paid very close attention to detail for a perfect dip powder manicure. My favorite part about this salon was that I was looking for a specific color and I didn't see it, so she actually mixed two colors together for me to create it! I signed up for Yelp just to write this review. I've been getting fill-ins with gel polish for about 2 years now at different places. My regular salon didn't have an appointment so I tried I Memory because of the positive reviews. I went on a Saturday and had to go back twice within a week because the OPI gel polish (which I've used at other places with no problems) was bubbling off the nails. It bubbled so bad it came off all in one piece. This all happened within a week. I've never had this issue before, was blamed for it happening, and was never offered a refund. Not to mention they charge more then other salons. Please don't go there... and if you do I wish you better luck. -In response: My original appointment was on Saturday 5/12 at 10am and I saw John, when bubbling occurred I came back to have it fixed on Wednesday at 10am and saw John again. Bubbling happened again Thursday night, I called Friday morning and stated I could be there by after work by 530pm. When I arrived at 530pm I had to wait approximately 20mins and a women fixed my nails (no name tag). By Sunday they were bubbling again. I don't feel this is a dry time issue and I will not be returning. If you'd like to rectify the situation you can send me a check for the $50 I paid (I can provide credit statement if needed) or you can pay $50 gift card at my home salon in Babylon where I have an appointment on Saturday morning 5/26. read more

Nail tech Lia who did my nails was not professional. She seemed rushing to finish my nails. I got French manicure done with diagonal lines. Lia did a poor job. When I showed her that one of the lines weren't straight she started complaining about my nails. I wanted additional flower design but due to her attitude I ended up canceling it. They are definitely more on the expensive side but my nails look amazing. typically my gel powder will start to chip or break/crack or peel off after 2 weeks. Most recently a manicure lasted 4 weeks before the polish started lifting (they were really grown out by then). They did my nails for our wedding along with a manicure for my now husband (!) , my mom and my little sister (bridesmaid). I got a lot of compliments and still continue to do so. The nails came out very nice. I got the iridescent powder on OPIs "bubble bath" which is a sheer pink colour; but I do have some complaints. When I called I had asked for the price for an acrylic full set. They said $50. I usually pay $36 for a set at my regular nail salon so I didn't mind a few extra bucks. The nail tech wasn't interested in talking to me directly and every thing I asked for she called the lady at the reception desk over. The lady was crass and first said that I had to pay an extra $5 for longer nails, and they negotiated with me back and forth for 10 minutes about cutting the tips down to 1/2 the size because it was "more convenient for the nail tech". but it baffled me because I thought the point of doing tips and acrylic sets was to have length in the nails (???) then she seemed to tell me that the colour I chose was going to cost an extra $15. At that point I had been there for 20 minutes and just wanted my nails done so I could go. The tech did the set and it took 45 minutes to get the set down and sand it down. Then she complained to me that she had another client and that she had to finish me quickly. I knew she then was going to rush to do the polish. She did. I even had 3 nails bleed because she sanded my nail bed instead of the nail with the dremel. When I went to pay apparently the cost went from $65 to $89 which I do not understand. They have a 10% off deal Mon-Wed which brought it to $73 but for a simple set of acrylics I can find better deals.. the quality was just not as I expected for the price I paid. read more
