We are at Sophia's which is located at the Conrad Hilton Hotel at evermore in Orlando for the weekend. We enjoyed breakfast here at Sophia's out on the patio for the last two days. Service and food is exquisite. You can have a buffet, which includes everything and everything for $50 a person or you can have à la carte and get served. I chose the à la carte option because I do not want to be influenced by all the sweets and heavy duty food options. The patio seating overlooks the lagoon on the property. Our server Vito was absolutely amazing! It felt very special when he approached us using our name. He had a very uplifting spirit and connected with us instantly. He gave us recommendations for our drinks and definitely didn't steer us wrong. I do wish they had more options with meat as I do have an allergy to fish. My pasta was originally a shrimp fra diavolo, but I wanted to have chicken instead. He said it's not something that's done with it, but he'll bring it out on the side. Which worked out great! My pasta was very tasty. Ohhh and I don't know how I forgot the bread, it was so good we got seconds! The bread is dipped in oil and seasoning. Some great food at a relatively new resort! Dining some family who were up to visit, I would consider this a hidden gem in Orlando! Out if all the dishes (I tried a little of everyone's) I think the Maiale was the tastiest. The Baked Fontina was popping with flavor for an appetizer, but if you don't want to spend money on the apps, they still provide some bread for the table. Came here for dinner on my first visit to the Conrad! There's gorgeous indoor and outdoor seating; outdoors gave us a nice view of the huge lagoon pool. The complimentary focaccia was delightful - it had awesome flavor and really impressed me! I shared the guanciale pizza, and it was also very tasty - the combo of meat with the peppers was a nice flavor, and the crust was very soft. The pizzas are perfect to split! Pastas were a bit hit or miss for the group - the bolognese was really loved, but the more mild gambretti left a little to be desired. This place is definitely on the pricier side as well, but that's to be expected at this type of resort. Either way, I think I'd come again for the pizza and bread! read more

We had a wonderful experience at Sophia's Trattoria. This is where we had brunch during the days we stayed at the Conrad Orlando at Evermore. It was inclusive with our stay and conveniently located on the level below the main lobby entrance. We had wonderful service from start to finish. Mackenzie was the lovely hostess that greets you with a smile from the moment you walk into Sophia's. John was our server on day one and he was very accommodating and attentive. He didn't miss a beat. I think Mackenzie worked on our 2nd visit too with Fonzie seating us to our table. Fonzie was full of personality and very upbeat. Paulina was our server on day two and she was wonderful as well, very polite and friendly and always good at checking back on us. DAY #1: * Keto Bowl $23 * Avocado Toast $21 * Steak & Eggs $28 * Overnight Oats $15 * Smoked Salmon Lox Bagel $24 I had Keto Bowl and it was healthy and delicious. I really don't know where to begin so I'll just mention my top 5 favorite dishes. For Staters - the Cauliflower Salad was amazingly fresh and full of flavor. The Lamb Ribs were tender and perfectly seasoned and the Burrata was excellent. I also can't say enough about my 2 favorite entrees. This location is a little deceptive. It's part of the Conrad Hilton hotel. Well that sounds impressive, but I think more importantly on the "Evermore Resort". We actually stayed on the resort, but this restaurant is available to everyone. As I said we stayed at the Evermore Resort and one of our children and their children, our grandchildren were with us. So last day we opted to eat here. We didn't have a reservation but we did eat seated. Option to sit outside or inside. We chose outside. It was the breakfast buffet but you also have the option for ala carte. Now I've had breakfast buffets before but this is a breakfast buffet on steroids. You just think of it and it's there. All kinds of breakfast foods, fruit, cereals, and omelettes made to order, or any style eggs to order. You might think since you're having the buffet the wait staff would not be attentive. Here, don't worry about that. The entire staff is at your beck and call. Oh here's the best part. My daughter and her husband picked up the bill. And let just say this, my daughter knows how to work the buffet and staff. I have to take credit for that, she has watched me do years. So, if you're vacationing in Central Florida you should consider eating here. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. read more

We tried a variety of dishes including the bolognese, shrimp appetizer, bread service, pizza, and a kids rigatoni with butter and cheese, and every item was excellent. The bolognese was especially memorable. Instead of being overly thick, acidic, or heavy, it was light, balanced, and incredibly flavorful. It had a refined, well layered taste that felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. The shrimp appetizer was perfectly cooked and seasoned, making a great start to the meal. The bread was fresh and delicious, exactly what you want with Italian food. The pizza had a great crust with well balanced toppings, and even the kids rigatoni with butter and cheese was done perfectly. It may be a simple dish, but it was executed well and clearly made with care. Service was attentive and professional, and the atmosphere made the experience even better. We did not know what to expect since it's a newer place but the vibe was super cute over looking the sunset on the lake. Our sever was VERY attentive, kind and knowledgeable about the food/wine industry. We were very impressed with the service. There was a mix up on our order but the staff MORE than took care of us to make up for their mistake and we are very understanding as sometimes things happen. The service truly was next level. Service was slow, but we were okay with it. It's summer and nice not to feel rushed. Food was good! We split a salad and bolognese, our kids spilt a pizza and fries. I will say the prices are reasonable except when it comes to dessert. A kids ice cream sundae should not be $16 and the dessert donuts should not be $16 either. We sat at an outdoor round table for 7 and enjoyed overlooking the sandcastle / lagoon view with a nice shaded breeze. Our server was attentive and funny which made for a great experience. He went out of his way to craft specialty coffee drinks for us. As some people had special requests, he was happy to accommodate. I enjoyed a mocha latte and the Benedict. This was an ok experience. And I'm being generous with 3 stars. We ordered the tuna to start and that was good. We were given complimentary bread and that was stale and hard. As someone who makes their own bread, that was awful. The sauce had potential. We also got a side of the mushroom risotto. This was extra salty. All I tasted was salt and the risotto was a little hard. I took a bite and had to leave the rest. Finally my lasagna tasted good but I took most of it to go since the service was so slow and I had to leave. It wasn't until the next day at my house that I noticed my lasagna leftovers were all burnt. Finally the ambience was weird. There was no music or nothing and for only there being three other tables, there were lots of servers running around looking busy but yet our service was so slow and the manager was flirting with a group of women dining. Finally the tiramisu was so sad, it was mostly just crème. No restaurant has made me want to jump into the kitchen and teach them how to cook more than this. read more

Great waiter, Tim, who was so kind and on his game. Loved sitting next to the open kitchen and watching the food preparation(a favorite thing of mine). Recently stayed at the Conrad Orlando and decided to try out Sophia's on our last night. We were very happy that we did. I had the Pork Ragu, my wife had the Braised Octopus, and my daughter had the kids Bolognese. All three pastas were amazing, and the portions were huge. I wish the hotel had a mini-fridge in the room so I could have saved the leftovers. Started with a spritzy cocktail and a Negroni. On the magical dining menu, we ordered one of each since there were four of us. Top picks: octopus pasta (the most tender octopus I've ever had and I loved it, portions were huge), beef carpaccio (def getting this again, the tender meat and sharp cheese is chefs kiss), pistachio cheesecake (MUST GET, I'm still thinking about it) Breakfast - I think their dinner is more impressive. So Sophia's is mixed for me, it has amazing customer service, but just okay food. The beef carpaccio was very good, the beef short rib was tender but sightly dry but still decent. The rack of lamb was eh... I've had better lamb from the Australia booth at Epcots Food and Wine. It was cooked well just lacked any flavor. The dessert was good also, and my kids enjoyed their meals. I would probably give it 4 stars but what brings it down for me is probably the price, it's kind of pricey for just okay food. Staying at the Conrad Orlando for the first time and decided to try the price fixe Magical Dining menu here for dinner. The sophisticated yet warm decor matched the Maldives-esque water front view and the open kitchen did not cause a hectic atmosphere as they can sometimes do. The waiter, Devone, was extremely attentive and personable. He made sure to address my allergy concerns upfront and took extra care to speak with the chef regarding needed dietary accommodations. From the drinks to the dessert and everything in between, no bite was left uneaten as the flavors and textures perfectly complemented one another. My only food critique would be that the portions were too large. If you are eating with others, I would recommend sharing an appetizer or two and entree as all alone were a meal in themselves. For starters, our server had recommended the potato puffs so we decided to give it a try and it surely did not disappoint! For entree, my boyfriend had ordered the pork ragu while I ordered the braised short rib and both entrees were amazing! For desserts we had ordered a chocolate mouse cake to share which were also good! I think adding a vanilla ice cream to this dessert would make it perfect! Overall, we enjoyed our food at Sophia! What a great place!! I can say that I really enjoy every aspect of this place. We are staying in the hotel and wanted to nice birthday dinner for a family member I am so so glad we chose this place. The server which her name happens to be Sophia was great she helped us translate the menus and was very knowledgeable of every single thing on there. We got what was recommended and I am glad we did. To start we got the Straciatella the figs were so fresh and the cheese paired perfect. For the children we ordered the fish and ship. The fish was fried perfectly and the chips (fries) did kinda look and taste like McDonald's fries but I am not complaining. For main dish we got Casarecce this pasta was great the sauce was smooth and we got the gluten free. Strozzapreti Al Bianco this was my order it was smooth and the octopus was cooked to perfection melted properly in my mouth. I will love to get this again. We also got 2 pizzas Puglia and Campagna. The dough was so good and every topping was fresh and paired perfect. The food combinations were great this menu took time and passion. Huge congrats to who made it. There was no bland plate and no plate that I can say this was a bad idea. Service at Sophia's was excellent and you could tell the staff was excited and proud of the new restaurant and the lovely Conrad Hotel. The Hugo Allo Zafferano is a must try - a unique take on saffron gin. The flavors were very memorable! The Arancini was some of the best I've ever had. Smoky flavor from the prosciutto combined with the unique bite of saffron in a perfectly cooked fried risotto ball. The Puglia pizza was also one of the best pizzas I've tried. Perfectly cooked, delicious flavor, and impeccable balance. The pastas were very well done. I'd lean more towards a meat dish next time I dine, but you can't beat a good pasta. Sophia's has a lot of potential and although it is a new location, I suspect it'll grow very popular. The staff were very friendly and the menu had lots of variety. I was with a group of 8 so we tried a lot of items. Some of my favorites were the baked fontina, endive salad, potato puffs, and the margarita pizza. I didn't love the octopus or tuna crudo - I eat a lot of seafood and neither of them excited my taste buds. We celebrated our five year anniversary at the Conrad this year and chose to eat here with a party of 14. We were able to make a reservation and had a small section to ourselves which was nice since we had small children with us. Alfredo was our service and he was the absolute best !! I was able to visit the new Conrad Hilton Resort and Evermore and I was blown away. A must visit for those in the Orlando area. Food: Very delicious. We ordered the duck and the bolognese. The duck was cooked perfectly, very tender, and the accompanying sauce and brussel sprout puff was very good. A little pricey for the amount of food that was given, I wish there were more accompaniments. The bolognese had a wonderful flavor, some more meat in the sauce would have made it even better. The drinks, dessert, and bread service were also very good. Service: The service was 5 star. Our waitress was so kind and very attentive. She provided us with great recommendations and checked on us frequently but not excessively. We were celebrating a birthday and she gave us a free dessert which was a very nice touch. So my boyfriend and I went to Sophia's two nights in a row on our Conrad staycation and both were the best meals ever. First night we got the potato puffs for an app and the bolognese and pork ragu for our entrees (ragu was great but we liked the bolognese better). For dessert we got the apple rhubarb pound cake- I can't appropriately describe how much we loved it, it would be a rated R description. Second night we shared the octopus app, spring harvest pasta (my favorite out of the three pastas we tried), fingerling potatoes, and margarita pizza. That was my favorite meal since we tried a bit of everything. Both nights we had Iris as our waitress and she was so attentive and kind. I guess someone noticed that I had a stain on my blouse and she came with an extra napkin and carbonated water to help me blot the stain out easily she was the best waitress we had and all the other workers were amazing too.
