The Lululemon stores in big cities seem to understand customer service, and always are so friendly and helpful. I'm not sure what it is about the air in the San Antonio store, or if there is major lack in training, but the selection at this location isn't even worth shopping at. Then two knee surgerys and sciatica sidelined me.... I've decided to get back in the saddle. If you run, you know getting fitted for shoes is important. I know from experience that New Balance is the shoe for me but, styles have changed in the last 15-20 years since I was serious about running shoes. The staff at New Balance was friendly and very knowledgeable. Matthew took a digital, 3D image of my feet. Based on the feedback from both the image and me, he brought out a variety of shoes and a carbon fiber orthotic insert. Love these shoes! I ran 3 miles this morning and love the shoes even more. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that it would have been nice to have a space in the store to jog a few steps to get a good feel before buying the shoe. Many running stores have that type of space.
