I recently purchased a sliding glass door and the whole job cost me about $4500. Upon installing the door from day one when it was opened, the screen door would fall out onto the floor. They called them several times they told me make adjustments to the wheels and I did. Despite the adjustments, the door continues to fall out whenever opened. I emailed and called additional times and received no response. I'm very upset and disappointed with this product. About 18 months ago we replaced our sliding glass door. We immediately noticed the difference between the old and the new one. The new one, although quite thick, slid open and closed effortlessly. It also created an airtight seal. After six months of use, the seal on the non-moving side began to drag. We contacted the installer who was unable to repair it. He arranged for a Viminco technician to make the repair. The technichian came to the house, replaced the seal, and readjusted the door for smooth operation. Last week, the lock broke. I contacted Sarah at Viwinco and sent pictures. The problem was analyzed and replacement parts were arranged. None of this cost us anything as the door has a lifetime warranty. I requested service from Viwinco to repair the door latch on my sliding door. The door latch was stuck in the locked position. The repairman, Henry, arrived on time. He was very polite and professional. He assessed the problem with the door latch quickly and made adjustments to the position of the door, because the screws to the handle were too close to the frame to be reachable with the screw driver. He replaced the door handle and made small adjustments so that it worked properly. Henry made sure I was able to lock and unlock the door easily. He also adjusted the screen door, so that it glided properly. I am very happy with his work and professionalism. Vinwinco has wonderful products and are worth the cost. I would just like to say that this company is terrible and good luck to you if you have any issues with one of their products! You will be ignored, lied to, and get no response. If you deal with Dalton Leedy, you should trust absolutely nothing that he tells you, as he will lie directly to your face and make false claims on written documentation. Their sliding glass doors or patio doors are terrible and let water directly in, and then don't drain the water to the outside. So when you purchase one of these doors you can enjoy always having water inside of the track and good luck when it gets cold, because the water will freeze and prevent the door from opening! I would look elsewhere for a different company to purchase a sliding glass door from because Viwinco will not stand behind their products and will just tell you that it is normal. read more

We have had these windows installed for 7 years. They were recommended to me by the contractor we had used for siding and doors. He had them in his own house and said he felt they were good. So I went with these. We have 14 of these windows in our house. They do what they are supposed to do. We have no leaks. We didn't go with anything crazy, just standard double hung windows. They tilt in for easy cleaning. They tilt in easily. We had one window, the lower portion of the window that got a haze inside between the panes. The haze kept spreading. I called the home supply store the windows were purchased through. She asked me to email her a picture of the sticker on the side of the pane and the haze in the glass. I did and she then contacted ViWinco. The company immediately sent me a replacement pane to put in. i now have a window free of defects. In other reviews I saw issues with customer service, I had no problems but my issue was handled through the home supply store who ordered them in for me. We have no sharp edges or weird problems. The windows lock well. Are they the best of the best, no. Do they let in a cold draft when the wind blows, No they do not. The last place we rented that did happen. These don't do that. If I touch the window when it's 20 outside, is the glass cold, yes. But they aren't drafty. They come with double locks on the larger windows and single locks on my two smaller windows. The screens are nice but I wish the holes were smaller and tighter. It can let very small bugs in at night. But for the average home owner these are nice functional windows. read more

I am writing this review 2/16/22. I'm a home owner who lives in eastern Pennsylvania and needed 14 new vinyl replacement windows installed. There were to be 13 double hung and 1 picture window. I had several quotes from contractors and almost fell over of sticker shock. Having 15 years of woodworking experience and knowing my way around a tape measure I decided to start researching the project myself. Having no real knowledge of who was going to sell to me or what name brand I was going to purchase I invested my time and energy. I was not going to purchase Anderson because like I mentioned I had already experienced sticker shock. I wanted something above average with good reviews and a company that was willing to stand behind its product. After many hours of research online and visiting actual displays at three building supply companies in my area I decided on the ViWinco brand Cambridge line of windows. (ViWinco stands for Vinyl Window Company) They are in business 35 years. The company that I purchased them from was "Valley Aluminum Products Company now located in Emmaus, Pa. (Formally of Allentown, Pa.) A particular salesman there, "ED" who has many years experience and knowledge showed me the windows in their showroom and explained the glass packages available. All my windows have "Energy Star" ratings. There was one other factor that impressed me,...the company website. Their website leaves no stone unturned. Every possible bit of information about their windows is there for you to exam including warranty information. Literally you could spend a few hours reading all the information. They even have several videos on the website and on You Tube showing you everything about their windows,...even a factory tour. That kind of impressed me that the company is so transparent about their product. The windows also are manufactured here in Morgantown, Pennsylvania about 60 miles from my home. Anyway the windows I had delivered to my home by the building supply company without incident. Windows were all protected and wrapped and had no damage of any sort. I did removals and installs one at a time over a few month period in early Spring of 2021. Installs went flawlessly without incident. Every window when I removed the wrapping was clean with no marks or scratches. I am writing this review 2/16/22 so I have experienced the performance of the windows now for several cold months. I think they perform quite well. They travel up and down nicely as well as tilt in effortlessly. In my opinion, for a moderately priced window they perform well. After all the saying holds true,.. you can have the best quality window in the world but do a lousy job installing it and now all you have is a drafty quality window. If you do a proper install of a moderately priced window now you have a quality window with good insulating values, no drafts, and a nice appearance inside and out. It all comes down to proper installation and insulating around the window with proper caulking to not have drafts. They have the single locking lever which works real nice which controls the locking mechanism into the window jamb. The glass is nice and clear without any issues and my upper sashes have cross grids that are all in good order and make for a nice added appearance. Overall I am pleased with these ViWinco Cambridge vinyl replacement windows. These windows were installed into a single two story brick Cape Code style home. I would highly recommend to anyone searching for a above average quality windows with a company that stands behind its product to highly consider ViWinco brand. Thank you for reading my review. I had 11 replacement windows installed ( Cambridge ) supposed top of the line. They are a mess . Lines and marks all over them ( not finger marks ) Came from factory like that not from contractor installing them. Just very poor sloppy workmanship. Someone came out from company after many attempts to get them to come. They had hard time removing some of the crap and again another sloppy job. Told me that is all they would do. Bought 8 Casement windows from Viwinco for a new addition I was building. I lost 3 lost seals in the first 18 months. Its been 6 months now trying to get them replaced. The windows are in but they don't have anyone who will put them in. If I do it the warranty is void. I also have 7 window cranks where the pins are falling out. Not the product they claimed them to be. I will not purchase their windows again. read more

We replaced our windows with what was called top of the line Viwinco Replacement Windows. They leak whenever the wind blows at a gentle breeze and whistle during harder winds. We have had to put plastic over these windows to keep the air out. The service and sales dept tried to fix the windows but at the end of the day stated this was the best they could do and were sorry. These windows are dangerous. There are sharp edges on the ends of the lift bars and even sharper points on other parts of the windows. I have to be careful every time I open or close a window that I don't get cut. The corner seams are sloppy too. This is an inferior product. read more

We built our house last year and installed all Viwnco S-Series casement windows. We have had nothing but problems. In the winter we have so much condensation that we have to wipe down the windows and sills in the mornings to prevent water from running down and ruining the walls. When it is foggy outside we cannot see out because of the condensation on the outside of the windows. We were told by representative that this normal and caused by high humidity in out house. Our inside humidity is constant 35-40% winter and summer and our inside temperature remains 75 degrees. Worst windows ever. read more
