DO NOT GO HERE. My experience with this place was around a year ago, but I was reminded of the place today when I saw a tiktok of a girl showing her experience here and how bad it was. I just want to caution others to do your research before coming here. My boyfriend came in to see if he could get a replacement ball for his anti-eyebrow piercing because he was missing one. They did not have it but offered to change out the piercing bar instead. He ended up agreeing because he didn't have enough time to go anywhere else and figured it wouldn't be a big deal. The lady (i don't remember her name but she looked like a white girl with black hair and she also had an apprentice with her) said she was could do it and made it seem like she knew what she was doing. SHE DID NOT. For those who don't know, the bar is like a staple shape and this piercing can easily reject. he has had this piercing for YEARS and never had any issues- it was perfect till she touched it. It took her about 20 minutes and she was just tugging and pulling and digging around in the hole of his piercing trying to get the other jewelry in. I could tell she was getting frustrated and she basically ended up re-piercing the hole he had but not good at all- much closer to the surface, and tried to play it off like it was switched when she really just re-pierced it. He still has the piercing but it's not the same at all. The edges come out more and the middle between the balls always looks swollen because the bar is too close to the surface and the built up scar tissue. It's okay if someone is still learning piercings, but you have to be honest about your experience when it comes to easily rejected piercings like this. At the end of the day what's done is done, but they need to do better and I would not recommend this place to anyone (especially after seeing the recent tiktok that blew up) which is a shame because it seemed like it was a women owned shop which we wanted to support. read more

My son wanted his ears pierced, and I didn't want a mall teenager with a nail gun shooting metal into my sons ear, so I did some research and found this place. I called and was told I could drop in, and was informed of the documents I needed. Then the plan was set. My son bugged me every ten minutes over the weekend, so by 6PM or so, away we went to get the job done. This place located in the middle of Plano in a strip mall location. Once you walk in the door, you immediately get a great vibe. The place is clean, there's music playing, but not too loud and the music was great. The employees are all AWESOME and look of the rooms was really cool. Theres lots of cool art on the walls, they even have a throne on one side of the room. After we get through the logistics, my piercer speaks to us. Her name is Tex. Here's what I love. Tex knows her trade. When she speaks on piercing, she knows everything about it, and exudes confidence. As a Dad, it's a relief to experience someone so knowledgeable. On to the counter we go. We picked out the earrings and I cracked few jokes to calm my sons nerves. Pretty soon we were on the path to getting his piercing. Tex worked with my son and I explaining which earrings he was allowed to wear and why. Then we had to wait around 15 minutes for the sterilization process, but it was an easy 15 minutes since they have snacks, water and great music to keep you busy. I'll also add that I felt very comfortable waiting and watching the people interact, you can tell they're like family running a business. Before you know it, its time. Tex comes and gets us, and takes us to the front room. The process is pretty quick yet delicate, and Tex talked my son through it. Tex made sure we liked where the earrings would go. Minutes later, my sons ears are pierced and we're good to go. We then moved to the main counter where Tex explained the cleaning, the options and the process for the the next month or two. I gotta say, this was a great experience, and Tex made it even greater being so knowledgeable and explaining everything to my son and I. They once forgot to have my younger brother fill out a consent form and failed to mention the $80 charge for changing his earrings. They realized their mistake, immediately deflected ("I don't know what happened"), and the owner threatened to ban me--for their mistake. That did not end up happening because my mom happened to be available at the time. They also tried to charge me $30 just to size up a bar even though I vaguely remember being told that resizing services were discounted if done at their store. If you go, ask about pricing at the register beforehand to avoid unexpected charges. Be concise. read more

I have been here many times. I've recommended this place to friends and family, but after my first visit, the customer service was horrible and I will never be back. I had my Medusa piercing done here. With that, you are able to come back and get your jewelry shortened for $10. If you didn't get it pierced there, jewelry is $20. I messaged the piercer one day, asking to come in and reminded her who I was. I came in, told the receptionist who I was, to which she TOLD me I didn't get it pierced there. Then, the piercer I messaged on Instagram came out, and she also told me I didn't get my piercing there. They ganged up on me in the lobby, as they shuffled through paperwork, finally finding mine from the day I indeed got it done there. I was humiliated, over a $10 difference.... The way that was handled was not okay and extremely embarrassing. They told me they "thought I was the owners friend." ?????? I came back in an emergency, only because it was close and my lip was beginning to swell over my jewelry. My lip had swollen pretty bad, I was crying and having an anxiety attack. The piercer literally LAUGHED IN MY FACE, and had to say, "I'm not laughing at you" as if anyone else were around in the tiny piercing room we were in. No one else was in the lobby either... horrible experiences both times, which really sucks because I wanted to support an all women owned shop near me. read more

These ladies did an incredible making something beautiful from something so tragic in my past. I walked in sharing a very dark piece of my history with a need to write truth on my forearm. Highly recommend Nathena, she took time to match my previous tattoos so all the script seemed to flow together. She also took time to ensure her design was exactly what I needed. Not only did she take extremely good care of me but even the owner stopped by to check in on me. I would 10/10 recommend the experience. I had called several shops asking for assistance with changing out my nose ring. This shop actually took the time to explain the gauge and mm size, no other shop did that. I then decided this was my place and hurried there. The place is decorated so nicely, smelled and looked immaculate. Everyone I came in contact with was so nice and personable. They had a great selection of body jewelry and other items for sale. They removed my previous nose ring, saline and prepped my nose for the new jewelry. The process was easy and painless. I love this shop! It's all female run and it's super duper welcoming. Everyone here is so friendly, The studio is very nice and VERY clean. There's lots of jewelry up front and the back is spacious and cutely decorated. I'm so incredibly happy with my tattoo! I was tatted by Stephanie, she was so friendly and made me feel way less nervous than I was at first. I'm not a talkative person but it was extremely comfortable being tattooed in silence. This tattoo shop and boutique opened up behind our house about a year ago. My wife and I drove by and noticed it. I love American traditional tattoos, and my wife loves fine line work. She wanted to check it out after we looked it up...an all female shop specializing in fine line and piercings. My wife had several piercings as well and wanted to look at hardware and jewelry they had. When we went in, I honestly felt a bit out of place. Lots of pink and I here I am, a man, in an all female shop. Part of me didn't feel comfortable being in their safe space. The old school tattoo world can be very cold towards women artist. But, I tell you, I have never felt anything but welcome at this place. I first went only to support my wife and her interest in the shop. I now look forward to going and saying "hello" to Stephanie and her crew of talented ladies. Addie is amazing with her line work. And guess what I found? A woman named Nathena, who loves American traditional! She has done four pieces on me. Mostly Sailor Jerry style flash. She loves to teach the other artists there about traditional rules (rule of three, number of pedals on a rose, etc.) Yoyo is new, and she loves traditional as well. Her flash is dang good, and I have a couple of hers. The place is bright and clean. They have a great atmosphere, and all I see are smiling faces from all of the guest and patrons as they leave, and the genuine hospitality and great artistry from the artists. I went to Vixen Body Art on Saturday 2/25/23. Kaia was my tattoo artist. they are very overpriced for a small simple tattoo was $200. Now almost a week later almost all the ink has pulled out of the tattoo. I have multiple tattoos and I've never had an issue. This is the worst tattoo I have ever received. It looks like a prison tattoo. I have called multiple times to the shop left a voice messages. No one returned my phone call, this is very poor business. Now I'm stuck with this nightmare of a tattoo that looks like garbage. I was told that I'm only allowed one touch up. Ummmmmm I literally need this whole tattoo redone by someone else.
