Victoria's work is AMAZING. I will never go anywhere else. Really. I have always had short, thin nails. I like the gel nail polish because it always gave my nails a bit more strength. I also liked that the gel did not chip quickly, as regular nail polish does. Nevertheless, it does end up peeling, and that always annoyed me. I did not want acrylics because I don't like the way they feel on my fingers. Never have I found a manicurist that could apply the gel polish in such a way that I could go a full two weeks (or longer) without an issue. Until now! This is because Victoria's technique is top-notch AND because not all gel polishes are the same. (I did not know this!) So now I know, and the quality cannot be compared -- it is just so much better. Victoria took her time with me, and she decorated my nails with a Snoopy and Woodstock (in addition to a natural color, some glitter, a black, and some white detailing). Everything was hand-painted. I was in awe! I made a fellow Snoopy-lover jealous with how WAY COOL my nails look. I am going to start my third week with them on and there has been no chipping, no breaking, no peeling. They still look perfect. I am plotting my next design for the next time I go in. (She had Netflix on, too, so I was introduced to a new show to binge.) I am so glad I took and chance to reach out and make an appointment!

I went to other nail shops but was never satisfied with my nails that they have done. But this place always makes me happy and want to go back. She has very unique style and designs of nails which you can pick as well!! Also the gel nails can last up to three months which was very surprise for me!!! I recommend this place to you all!!!

Vicky is the nail artist that I always recommend to my friends when they want a really special experience - her artistry is truly amazing. She's super friendly and accommodating, and is very thorough with her work. She's also game to try any design that I bring her, which I really appreciate. Her studio is small, but very intimate and comfortable. I think her prices are very reasonable for the quality of work that she puts out, plus I really appreciate the gel that she uses for her nails. I'm always happy after my appointments with her, and will always recommend her for anyone that wants beautifully hand-painted nail art!
This not your $25 gel that you get at your normal strip mall nail shop. Vicki is really an artist and not just a nail tech when it comes to nails. Sure, it is a bit more to get my nails done by Vicki, but I travel 30 minutes to her shop to willingly spend my $$ and time. How many of us girls have walked out of a nail or hair shop feeling unsatisfied? Well, since coming here, I don't ever feel like I overpaid as I'm walking out the door because my nails look great!!! She really spends every bit of that 2 or 3 hours solely working on MY nails. It is such a great feeling. So this is an appt only shop for a reason. Also paying a bit more makes sense because she uses Japanese gel which is much more lasting. The gel will not start lifting at the edges for weeks and weeks. I would say at least 5 weeks for me. My longest one was about 9 weeks and I had to go back finally after breaking a nail. So this pkace is really worth your bucks. Can't say enough good things. Will see you in few weeks~~~
I've been looking for a place that does nail art that is reasonably priced and I'm so glad I found Vicki on yelp. I showed her a picture of the design and she was able to help me replicate it and change the colors slightly to match my Hawaii outfits :) super cute salon in Phoenix salon suites. Easy to text to make the appointment with her. She gets booked few weeks out so make sure to book in advance. There's coffee and snacks and netflix in the background so you can be entertained while getting your beauty treatment! My set took about 1.5 hour and was 65.00 but for first time clients you get 10 off! So such a steal. Thanks so much for your service Vicki will be back :)
I finally stopped looking for the perfect nail shop. Since I have a very busy full-time job, it is really hard to get the maintenance on time. I try to go to her at least every 3 weeks but I often go there once a month. My nails still look perfect and I really like her design. I personally don't like stones but just a design. VICKY IS MY GIRL!!! First of all, I want to emphasize that Vicky is not your regular nail technician- she is an artist. Her attention to detail and creativity really sets her apart from any nail salon. When you first walk into the salon, you'll notice it's warm and cozy. It is small, but filled with all the right things. She has boxes and boxes of little jewels and stones; everything imaginable to decorate your nails with. She also uses premium Japanese nail polish that you will rarely find in any other salon. Many times, I have walked in with some design I found on Pinterest and she has always been able to create the same design, if not better! I am the most indecisive person ever so I love that she will put her own spin on the designs and give you her personal opinion on what better suits you. Not only is she passionate to her work and dedicated to her clients, she is also a very reasonable and kind-hearted person. I love visiting her because it feels like I'm just hanging out with a friend while getting the awesome bonus of walking out with gorgeous nails. She really understands each of her client's style so you will never walk out disappointed. I train both boxing + kickboxing but let me tell you--her nails are LONG-LASTING (believe me, I am that gross client who will come in with 10 weeks old nails but they are still intact!). She is very flexible and accommodating to everyone's schedule- I had her come in at 8am once for a last-minute occasion and she was so, so sweet to do that for me! I have so much love and respect for her as she is so dedicated to her work. Vicky is always keeping on top of the nail trends and she even attends workshops and classes to better her craft. I fly between DC and soCal but I refuse to let anyone else other than Vicky touching my nails (hence the 10 weeks nails, oops!). No one else is better, sorry, not sorry! I'm a little sad to write a review because that means she'll only get way busier, but she deserves every bit the success! Vicky, you're the best! If my review didn't speak for itself, look at all her other reviews! Her clients are loyal and have nothing but amazing things to say :)
Omg Vicky is amazing!! I came to get my nails done for my wedding. She exceeded my expectations! I am in love with my nails. She carefully does your nails and really cares. I showed her a picture of my wedding dress and she did my nail design On my index finger to match it. I appreciate her so much!

I got my nails done with Vicky a few times. The first time I came with her I explained how I wanted to grow out my natural nails so I can just do a hard gel top and not use gel-x. When I grew out my nails while using gel-x I asked for the forming gel so I it could give my nails a more curved shape so they wouldn't be so flat and she mentioned she didn't have the proper gel type for it. However, I later found out that it was doable with the gel she had and I felt like she just didn't want to put in the effort or material she had towards giving me what I wanted. She seemed frustrated and annoyed because she noticed I saw her work was very uneven and sloppy and when she gave me the filler to fix it myself, I filled a top portion that had a huge bump. She thought I was gonna file the side and she got upset I I filled off the top portion. I went to her one last time and stopped going since I wasn't getting the results I was looking for. She does great work if your specifically looking for her style of nails, as seen in her pics. What's upsetting is that when I asked and showed her what I was looking for from when I first booked, she confirmed it was something she would be able to do. I was extremely overcharged for the work she did and I would have preferred if she just told me she wasn't able to do the work I was requesting. This was my personal experience with Vicky. read more

I was finally able to snag an appointment!!! And now I can write a review based on her work. I can see why she's completely booked all the time. I've had the pleasure of being able to consistently go to Vicky for the past few months now I like simple and classy which she's been able to accomplish each and every time since I pretty much leave the color and design up to her now that she knows what I like. Another major plus for me is that I'm very rough with my hands but the way she puts gel on stays on with no chips or breaks. She was definitely worth the wait! I just periodically hit her up to see if she had any openings or cancellations and when she did I rushed over and got to see what she was all about! And boy!!!! Was I impressed! PROS -SANITARY!!! (sooooo sanitary and clean) -listens to what you want and like -her work is perfection -so many colors and options to choose from -place is intimate and nicely kept -customer service is impeccable CONS -not really a con, it's because she's that much in demand but you need to book way ahead to make sure you claim your spot read more

I have been a client of Vixkiss for the past 3 years. My nails are always complimented and on point thanks to Vicky. I love how gentle she is with my hands and how much of a perfectionist she is with her work. There's a TV for you to watch if you prefer to just be silent, and the fact that it is a one-on-one facility and you don't need to hear other people talking makes it more intimate and personal. I love coming here, and I can say with confidence that my nails have been a staple in my life since I started to come here. Also, whatever design you bring, she gets it done. Victoria is super amazing. I always have some crazy nail designs that I request and Victoria does it exactly like the picture I show her. Usually other nail places say they cant put big crystals on real nails and only acrylic nails can hold them for a long time. Welp, that was a lie! When Victoria does my nails, it lasts a month with all my crystals intact. She is really amazing. No wonder I drive all the way from San Diego to get my nails done! Highly recommended. read more

Victoria is amazing!! First of all she's very talented, she's very creative and super friendly. She has a variety of colors and designs for you to choose from and you can definitely come in with your own ideas and she will try her best to make them happen, she always does for me. Let me tell you... once you get your nails done from Vicky you will never ever go back to another nail tech. I used to have weak short brittle nails, but I am able to grow them out beautifully after Vicky has worked her magic on my nails. I used to have to get my nails done every 2 weeks because they start chipping and peeling after a week or so, but Vicky's work lasts me way over a month. I usually end up having to go see her because my nails are too long, but her gel work is still amazingly perfect. It could probably last two months to be honest but nobody wants to see over grown finger nails!!!!! Anyways, Vicky can do any design from simple, to elegant, to blinging up your phalanges so they shine from millions of miles away. She's stocked up on so much bling you'll be blinded from her stash. Oh!! And her color choices..... soooooo epic! You'll never ever get bored. She also hand draws characters, flowers, dogs, food, whatever! Super talented lady right here. Her shop is super cute too. She has tv so you don't get bored and awkward sitting there and she has bunch of delicious snacks in a basket right next to you which I love love love. Thank you Vicky!!!!! read more
