Best experience I've had with an auto shop. These guys were super kind and all around awesome. They installed a custom steering wheel along with underglow on my mustang. Although there were some initial wiring issues, they were determined to finish the job. I had the fortunate opportunity to come into contact with Norwin, Larry, and Quang. I worked with Norwin, and found him to be extremely honest and up front. He didn't try to up sell me and treated me with respect. He kept me up to date with his progress, and by the time I picked up my vehicle, I felt like family. I have a 2010 FJ Cruiser that I purchased in 2016. I have done my fair share of taking her through the wringer with multiple Tahoe snow trips and once a year car washes. Needless to say, the paint needed some work, and I was looking for some long term low maintenance. Norwin worked his magic and brought life back into the paint and two layers of ceramic coating. I don't think she looked this good rolling off the line back in 2010. The paint is smooth and slick. I've been reluctant to take her out with all of the rain, but even after all the rain we've received and all the driving in it, she looks amazing! The rain and dirt just slide right off the paint. This is my first experience with ceramic coating. So far, I'm liking it. Yes, a bit more than a wax job that usually lasts about three to six months. Norwin tells me that I shouldn't have to repeat the ceramic process for two years. read more

I wanted to put something on my new car to protect the paint from the elements given I park outside. Paul and Norwin took the time to explain my options to me and walked me through the process so I could understand how everything worked. After that, they offered up really competitive prices for these services. Then of course, the work itself was top notch. I went with a ceramic coating. Norwin sent photos along the way, did all the requisite prep work (wash, clay bar, alcohol wipe down, two coatings, topper). I've had the car done like this for about a week now and the difference is huge. Easy to clean, generally less dirt / residue on the car to begin with. I was looking for a shop to do my air suspension on my car with a custom setup . Yelp recommended a couple of shops around the Bay Area but decided to go with VK Garage. The techs here at VK Garage aren't just techs they're also car enthusiasts which made me more comfortable to bring my car here and leave it for a week. Paul, Larry and Norwin worked on my car. Norwin gave me a call later in the day after i dropped it off and told me some options or ideas to run my switch panel for my air ride in my glove box which was cool because i had no idea what i wanted lmao. The way they did my trunk setup was more than what i imagined (in a good way). I was messaging Paul during the install, he sent me progress pics of my car and made sure everything was all good. It took about a week for install but it was well WORTH IT! i would definitely bring my other car here to get bagged next. VK Garage is an awesome new shop. I was looking for a shop to install my air suspension and they were able to set me up with appointments quickly to check out my set up and game plan the installation. Q kept me updated on the install and communicated with me during the whole process. I wanted to have a different trunk set up than most people running air and they were able to make it happen. Q and Paul walked me through it all after completing the install and answered all questions. Had a small issue the first day getting it back but Q said to come bring it by and were able to squeeze me in to take a look at it the next day. Q and the guys at VK will take care of you and treat you like a valued customer. I appreciate everyone at VK Garage and I will definitely be back for future projects.
