I toured Stella at San Tan Valley this afternoon with the manager, Nicki after receiving a…read morethoughtful gift on my car yesterday labeled from "Team Stella." It had information about the apartments, chapstick, pens and a variety of sweets, which made the gesture feel less commercial and more personal. When I arrived today, the office was closed, but there was a sign to call, and they would come over. They even had snacks and a cooler packed with drinks - I've lived in apartments for a decade and have never seen such a warm welcome from a leasing office. Nicki was excited to come over, and she didn't disappoint. She spoke highly of the apartments, the company, and the positive impact they aim to make. The apartment itself was luxurious, and Nicki even helped me brainstorm extra pantry solutions and furniture placement with advice I would expect from an interior decorator. During the tour, we ran into another staff member, Marysa, who was showing another couple around. They introduced everyone, shared a laugh, and truly made it feel like a family environment. While the apartments and the staff were impressive, I did have some concerns about the costs. The rent listed online doesn't include the non negotiable additional monthly fees. Nicki explained the benefits these fees provide, but the total monthly cost added up. Also, the advertised 6 weeks free move-in special doesn't apply to the move in cost; instead, from what I understand, it's credited at the second month. I would also note- via their website although I was able to locate the "tech package" I was unable to confirm where it stated the bundle was required and not optional, I was also unable to find where it stated that covered/awning parking required a fee which felt to be misleading as the advertised price is significantly greater once fees are added. In the end, I decided to rent near by for a lower monthly rate, similar luxury apartment, same amenities and without standard parking fees. My move-in cost is less than $500 (mostly due to pets), and I won't have to make another payment until after Christmas which I chose out of the multiple choice "Special Options." For those who can afford the additional monthly fees and don't mind the parking fee, I highly recommend Stella at San Tan Valley, not only for the luxury living; the ladies there actually invests in making you feel at home while taking pride in the community and company they represent.

Upon arriving here, the drive in is beautiful, the leasing office is Gorgeous. But the people made it worth it. Walking into the office I was greeted by Lucinda And Luis. My partner and I were so nervous to come and tour since it's a little farther than we are used to. But they made us feel so much better, I love that they weren't acting like robots, still professional but they really cared about how we felt about the community. Lucinda took her time answering every little question we had and didn't hover over us during the tour (my absolute fave) She really felt like a friend we hadn't seen in a while. Now I was sold on the community right when I toured the home but was still skeptical but Lucinda and Luis really sold us on the community. They weren't pushy, and just amazing, it's hard to find a leasing company that has actual good leasing reps who care about your well being and thought process. Thank you guys. Can't wait to move in!

When you ask them to remove the valet fee, they say they cannot remove it because it is required in the rent. They have gotten too many complaints for the valet trash ($35). If valet doesn't take trash, they should really take it off people's rent, not keep over charging people for stupid things. They also charge you $3k almost $4k to move out before your lease not matter what you are going through (life change, job change, financial change, etc). Staff is really nice and so is maintenance. I just do not recommend Mark-Taylor. Too expensive. They charge too many fees.

I've been a resident at Olive Queen Creek for multiple lease terms, and while I want to acknowledge…read morethat the maintenance team has always been wonderful, my recent overall experience has been very frustrating. My renewal information was incorrect, and I was told it could take approximately two more weeks before the corrected renewal and lease documents would be available. This puts me very close to my 60-day notice deadline and gives me very little time to review the actual lease terms and make an informed decision about whether renewing is right for my family. I also raised concerns about how I was treated by a leasing staff member, and because of the timing of everything, I have been concerned about whether I am being treated fairly compared with other residents who receive correct renewal information with adequate time to review it. Management did eventually confirm that my concerns were addressed and provided an estimated timeframe, but I still do not believe residents should be put in a position where they may have to make an important housing decision without having the correct documents in a reasonable amount of time. There is also an ongoing rat problem that has been very upsetting. I have had dead baby rats inside my home, and I have been told that the issue is community-wide. The resolution I was given was that rat traps would be moved closer to my unit. For something this serious, that response has not made me feel confident that the underlying issue is being adequately addressed. As a long-term resident who has consistently paid rent and had no complaints against us, I expected to feel more valued and supported. Again, the maintenance team deserves recognition because they have been wonderful, but the leasing experience, renewal issues, and ongoing rat problem have left me very disappointed.

So they are well aware of the issue yet can't seem to adjust the billing statement in advance of posting the total due, they seem to feel that letting the $60+ bill go into the monthly amount due is fine. This is the complex's problem not mine. Which means I have to take my personal time to tell them of the mess yet again. When the unit was occupied the average billing was between 30-40 dollars a month. They are well aware that the unit is sitting empty and has been for over 3 months, yet they seem to think that all of sudden a $68.00 water bill for August is fine the issue is reported not fixed due to the battery issue and the next months bill comes in at $53.+ Vicki the property manager is a bit uptight, she does not return a phone call to the correct person. Also for some unknown reason she feels she is entitled to speak down to other people.... The only things she needed to say to us was SORRY ABOUT THIS I'VE CORRECTED THE BILL. That was all she had to say or do. She is rude, she is short tempered, and refusing to speak to the person who pays the bill is never a good move. My daughter lived here for 10 months on a 15 month lease, My husband Cosigned for her, husband gave the office permission to speak with me directly as I pay all the bills. Not returning phone calls, acting like your better than us, trying to talk down to us by saying there is water running in the back ground....really it's rude to speak to people like this. Excuses don't work, do your job or find a new one.

I've sent multiple emails, made several phone calls, and left voicemails explaining my situation in detail, but no one ever follows up. What's even more disappointing is the complete lack of professionalism from the management team. This ongoing pattern of silence and avoidance reflects very poorly on how this complex treats its residents and potential tenants. Communication should be the most basic part of property management, and they are failing at it entirely. At this point, I'm beyond frustrated and would strongly caution others to think twice before moving here. The property itself might look nice on the outside, but if you ever need help or have an issue that requires attention, expect to be ignored for weeks.

They "lost" my 17 month lease I signed April of 2025 and charged me an extra $600 at a month-to-month for one month without any type of notice and after going to talk to them three times in person, it was still never resolved. I received several emails that I had been "moved out" during my lease and I was not able to access the resident portal to pay rent. Again, multiple trips to the leasing office thinking the problem had been resolved only to get the same email that I had been moved out a week later. The front desk always goes to check with the assistant manager who has zero clue as to what is going on. And the latest issue... after breaking my lease early (because this place sucks) I was told by maintenance, a front desk assistant, and the assistant manager to leave my Cox WiFi Router in the apartment unit after moving out. Today, I received an email from Cox saying that I'm being charged $240 for not returning the router. So, do yourself a favor, rent quite literally anywhere else.
