I moved out of this apartment…read moreearly because the conditions were simply unbearable -- yet I continued paying rent through the lease term. Despite leaving the unit spotless and being told everything looked great besides carpet, I was still overcharged with unjustified fees with no documentation to support it. Throughout my stay, I raised multiple complaints about trash piling up in common areas and balconies -- including tires and other debris. Nothing changed. Security was nonexistent when needed, and management consistently showed a lack of concern or accountability. Most of the EV chargers were broken. The property looks great from the leasing office to the pool, but beyond that, you start to see the evidence that it's all for show -- poor maintenance, ignored complaints, and a lack of real care for residents. This place markets itself as "luxury," but it's far from it. If you're considering renting here, I strongly recommend looking into nearby home rental communities. You'll get better management, cleaner facilities, and the same rent -- without the frustration. Save your time, money, and peace of mind.

They charged me $200 for "standard cleaning" and sent me an estimate instead of a proper invoice. On top of that, the washer in my unit broke six times during my 17-month lease. Each time, maintenance "repaired" it by drilling holes into the machine -- which voided the warranty. Rather than replacing it or fixing it properly, they kept patching it up, leaving me with an unreliable appliance the entire time I lived there. To make matters worse, they first sent me a statement claiming everything was finalized, then later said the unit was still being worked on. How can it be final if the story keeps changing? I turned in my keys on August 11th, and they were already past the legal timeframe to return or account for my deposit. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and fairness is unacceptable. If you value your deposit and want honest communication, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Since I moved to Acero apartment, I always tell people that I move to a resort. That's what it feels to me living in Acero Apartments. there's also a dog park with a station to bathe dogs. He didn't hit anyone, steal, or even approach the apartment manager, yet she told us no matter what she was calling the police. everything she told the police was a complete lie. She still lying today and it's Monday. I do not feel safe here. if something so small can trigger management to call the police can you imagine what they will do to me and my family going forward... When you ask them to remove the valet fee, they say they cannot remove it because it is required in the rent. They have gotten too many complaints for the valet trash ($35). If valet doesn't take trash, they should really take it off people's rent, not keep over charging people for stupid things. They also charge you $3k almost $4k to move out before your lease not matter what you are going through (life change, job change, financial change, etc). Staff is really nice and so is maintenance. I just do not recommend Mark-Taylor. Too expensive. They charge too many fees.

We also feel that the office staff is very easy to talk to with questions, concerns, or just personal relationships. The maintenance staff has also been very helpful when requests have been made through the Community App. They go above and beyond to keep the place looking good and are very proud to do it. All staff here work extremely hard to make this a great place and we try hard to also do our part to keep the place better than how we find it! This is a great community to live and we love meeting our neighbors to support one another. This place is highly recommended by my husband and I.

We watch sports events together in the clubhouse on the huge tv screen ( Lot of resident-led classes, so we get to do & learn what we want at no cost--walking, writing, book club, art, music, Bunco, bingo, poker, dominoes, pickleball, & volleyball are some of the great offerings. British tea every other Wednesday is a fun & friendly activity for mostly women, but men are invited too. No raised pinkies there! Weekly "happy hour"potlucks are where neighbors catch up & share what we've done that week & in our travels & lives. Saturday AM coffee is a low-key gathering where newcomers can come & learn about our community and neighbors can catch up. Our maintenance guys Buddy & Marek deserve gold medals--they are quick to help & highly knowledgeable. All the staff here is helpful too (big shout-out to Alyse our activities director who brings us topnotch creative ideas, classes, and activities and dear smart Kate who answers every question --and if she doesn't know the answer immediately, she'll find out!) We've been here six months and are loving it, particularly our wonderful neighbors & friends we've made. We're enjoying everyone! Bless you all!!
