I have been coming here for years and I won't ever change unless Michelle stops working here. I love how easy it is to schedule appointments on the app and choose your favorite esthetician. There are more than enough seats to accommodate a lot of people and great options on whatever you choose. I have been using Michelle for a long time and I don't like it when I have to use anyone else. She gives the best foot/calf massages and always is a great help when I'm indecisive about what color I want to use. The prices are reasonable and I will continue to encourage all my friends to come. read more

My girlfriends recommended this place, as a lot of them have been going here for years. Walked in for a pedicure and was seated within 5 mins. Yay! Very relaxing experience. I got the deluxe pedicure which was $45. What a great price! She did a deep clean and a scrub that my feet and legs were begging for! She did another massage with the lotion and I am nice and relaxed now. Very personable nail tech and happy with my results. Will be back soon. read more

A friend recommended and showed me her nails so I had to try. The location is easy to find, the salon is large, nicely decorated, clean, organized, and comfortable. I moved to Orlando 5 years ago and to this day I drive to Tampa to have my nails and eyebrows done at Vo Nails & Spa. Of course, after trying a few places here in Orlando. Vo Nails has many great things to offer to their customers. 99% of the time they are on time. If you have an appointment, they see you at the time of it. I came here to get my nails done because I had a gift card. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The pedicure and manicure were good, I've had better. I was so excited to hear how inexpensive their gel manicure and pedicure were, but not even 5 hours later my gel manicure started to chip. It's now been 2 days and it's chipping even more! I've never had a gel manicure chip! I'm really disappointed. I won't be back. Update: 3 days later, I have 4 nails cracking and one peeling. I've NEVER had this happen with a gel manicure. read more

I'm always greeted by a staff member and seen within a few minutes, even for a walk-in. One time, I showed an inspo pic from Pinterest, and they tested multiple colors out on their own hand to make sure it would exactly match what I wanted. Been here twice the first time they overcharged me $40 and thought I wouldn't notice then the second time they got angry that I didn't like the color one coat in and laughed and talked bad about me in front of me and rushed the rest of my pedicure. Never coming again read more

I will preface this review with the fact that I don't trust many shops with my eyebrows. And this is one of the few nail shops that I'll let wax my eyebrows. They come out perfect every time! Best nail salon I've ever been to! Just recently moved to Charlotte and I've been having such trouble finding one that compares. It's become a 2-3 star joint of late. The service is too inconsistent. You roll the dice every time you come here. One day you get a good pedi, another day you get a crappy one, along with a half ass foot massage. I get the feeling that they care less when you decline the alternate deluxe pedicure that they offer at the start of your session. I've given Vo Nails more than a fair shot. Time to find a new nail salon. read more

When Vo Nails first opened, I loved this place. Now, as the years have gone by, and they have gotten bigger, and more popular, the past few times I have been it has just been okay. FYI - although you can pay with credit card, they prefer you tip in cash. Your experience obviously depends on who does your pedicure, and this last time my technician was not very good. She did not cut one of my nails correctly, even though I told her I could feel it was done wrong. But, even worse, right before she applied polish, she nipped one of my toes with her clippers, and it proceeded to bleed for the next hour or so. I understand accidents happen, and I still tipped her 20%, but I was not pleased. And then she couldn't even be bothered to get up to put the final nail spray on before I left. Will I be back? Probably, because they are convenient, clean, and have a lot of people working so you can usually get in quickly. Is it my first choice? Not anymore. read more

I just moved here from CT and have been to vo nails twice already...and I plan to return every 2weeks!!!!!...they are clean professional and diligent in what they do. I always get the gel manicure with a pedicure and today I even got my eyebrows waxed (and I am very sensitive about my brows) ie they need to be fabulous...and right away she knew and did exactly what I had asked. I will say that I have not gone enough to yet feel comfortable to get nail art but at this rate I will soon be showing them pictures!!!! read more

Went in on a Sunday morning at opening time for a walk in pedicure. Nail tech wasn't very friendly. Space is decent, but definitely outdated with light blue pedicure chairs. Pedicure was mediocre. They don't exfoliate and the massage with lotion is pathetic. No squeezing, just a light rub which didn't do anything. The nail tech could of cared less. I felt like I was just on a conveyor belt, while the tech went through the motions of just getting the pedi done. I got the regular pedicure which was $25. My nails look fine- and will last me until my next pedicure elsewhere. Immediately after the pedicure was done the tech told me to get up to let them dry- I wasn't even able to sit in the chair while my toes dried. I stood there waiting to be directed to the drying area and she just ignored me. Another tech led me to the drying area. I would only come back if I was in a major pinch and needed a last minute pedi. read more

I have to say I'm real disappointed in this place, I've been coming to this salon for years and I've always had great service my nails would always come out amazing. I used to be impressed with the time they would take on their customers, However as the years have passed the Quality of customer service and results have gone down hill. The last three times I've been there have been enough for me to start looking for another salons. The tech never smiled and seemed more bothered that she had to do my nails, this annoyed me because I've been a good customer. When i was done with my full set they moved me over to the other side to get my pedicure. Once you let them know you want the regular they rush through the whole thing. When I got home I notice my nails have dumps and not cut even. I probably won't return they've lost the customer service I remember. read more

Vo is the best nail spot in Tampa. Im not sure what they do differently here but my pedicures last at least 4 weeks without chipping, and im rough on my polish! At other places I would be lucky if I got 2 weeks out of my polish. Tan is the best for pink and white, he is fast and always does a great job. I highly recommend! read more

I came to vo nails initially because I had gotten a pink and white full set at another salon and within 2 days, I had nails lifting. A friend recommended this salon last year, and since then I have not been to another! I do not have any issues with nails lifting and they have a wonderful selection of colors to choose from. I used to go to Nail Trap on Dale Mabry & Bearss but have now switched to Vo Nails on Sheldon. I like that the spa is big and they are able to accommodate their clients pretty much any time of the day. I've been here twice now and have not left with any complaints or concerns. I can't remember their names, but the male and female who sit at the first two tables right when you walk in have done my acrylic fill. I prefer the male, but if he isn't available I will see the female. I paid $45 for a pedi, fill and tip. :-) read more

Daisy the owner and her husband are great! Very engaging and sweet! B is my favorite pedicure girl, but everyone there is good! I recommend the deluxe pedi any day! First time here and I thought they did a good job. My favorite color this far is Glints of Glinda - a perfect nude for my skintone. Clean and the staff is friendly. The reason why I couldn't give it a 5 star is because I was a bit shocked by the price. Came here with coworkers to get mani and pedi. It was a lot of fun. And even though they were pretty busy at the time, the four of us were able to sit together. The first thing I noticed is how clean and professional this place looked. Overall, great customer service. I took a long time deciding what color I wanted, and nail technician was extremely patient with me. Also, she was very careful when painting my nail. My toe nails has lasted 3 weeks! I stopped getting nails done here because they are overpriced and terrible and the nails do not last. No matter which nail tech I tried they would always cut my cuticles and skin cut my nails too short and file them too thick also the glue burned here. They are very limited on what designs they can do and generally unhelpful. I have had make full sets and when I got them done here they would pop off after a week read more

Since we were 11 a.m. I had a busy morning and rushed out without coffee. I asked if they had coffee and they do, but it's powder from a package. Therefore, it is already sweetened with creamer and sugar. It was a little too sweet for me, so next time I know I need to bring my coffee. I really enjoy the decor of the place, it has a lot of glitter (which I love) and tons of greys and blue. They really like this dog training show and play it on the TV. It's a random thing to notice, but I miss when they played the home improvement shows. However, since I was there with my sister we were busy chatting instead. Their no frills pedicure (which is still great) is $33, which I think is a great deal. I feel like my feet were pampered and I have a new color that stays on pretty long. Overall I really like this place and I'll keep coming back for pedicures. If you have an appointment they are pretty on the ball about making sure they see you on time.

I would get a pedicure every so often at Tre nail salon with friends, but I wasn't an every month type of person. I would always get a deluxe pedicure that was $70, so I was very surprised (and delighted) when I walked out of here with a gel mani and pedi for only $55 (before tip). To be honest, the reason I chose this place was because it was the only salon that was open past 5 p.m. on a Sunday (they close at 6 p.m.) It was a last minute decision so I called at 4:30 p.m. to see if they could take me. They said they could fit me in at 5 p.m. On the phone Charlie, the owner, asked me if I wanted regular, gel or dip. Being that I don't get a manicure that often I said which would last the longest. He suggested dip and I agreed. When I came in and he looked at my nails, he said they were pretty strong and that I would prefer gel so I wouldn't have a thick nail look. I really appreciate that he took the time to correct his original assessment over the phone. This is a no frills place. They don't offer you water or wine and it was on the warm side when I first walked in, but that's probably why it's so cheap. I really appreciated that they had a sign that said to wear a mask. All the employees were wearing one and they have built clear walls between the manicurist and the patron for extra protection. Charlie is a really nice person. I got lucky and had my nails done by him. We chatted while he did my manicure. I think he did a fantastic job. I read a review by someone who felt rushed, but my manicure and pedicure took around an hour and fifteen minutes (which meant I was there after closing). I didn't feel rushed at all and I wouldn't have minded if they did rush since I knew I was cutting it close to their closing time. I get why people get their nails done every month. I think $55 is a fantastic price and my nails look great. I might have to start making this a part of my beauty routine.

Appointments feel rushed, and the results reflect this. My gel polish is either applied so thickly that it becomes lumpy or so thinly that it peels off within days. Given that I have a desk job with no physical labor, there's no reason my gel polish should be peeling so quickly. This isn't an isolated issue--it has been a consistent problem for the past year. I have been coming here for over a year, and I have never had a bad experience. Everyone is always friendly and they listen to what you want and accomplish just that - even going above and beyond! My favorite part about Vo'd is the cleanliness. All tools are sterilized before use - which is something I super appreciate. I had Van today for a pedicure, acrylic removal and a regular gel manicure. She is my new favorite! She was super awesome, very friendly, and our conversation was sensational! New to Tampa and I went to 5+ nail places searching for a great pedicure. The staff here is professional and very thorough in their work. I have visited 4x's already and none of the pedicures were rushed...and four different people have waited on me. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the services are limited. I would like the option of paraffin wax for the feet and or a hot rock leg massage. I am used to spending about $50 on a pedicure every two weeks. Highly recommend. read more
