Natural nails with bubble bath and fluffy bunny OPI

I've been trying to find a nail salon in Tampa since I moved here 3 years ago and finally did! They are always so consistent and do a great job for a reasonable price. The salon is always clean which is a must! I typically go to John for my nails but they're all pretty great. I've been going there for about 6 months now. I love getting dip because it's strong and durable. Make sure you tell them you want it to be thin and close to the cuticle to make sure it lasts as long as possible.

Cuticles are horrible, dry hands, cuts on the edges of my nails, also not the length I asked for.

Very pricey for what I got, which was a full set. Also made me BLEED and rough with my hands and was rushed. Left my hand dry and cuticles. The person that did my nails also cut my nails to short. Other wise it was a clean environment and nice furniture

A great place to pamper yourself…read more My sister was in town so we decided to get pedicures. Definitely call ahead, because there have been times I've called and couldn't get appointments when I wanted them. I think if you're a week out it's pretty safe, but since we were a couple days out we couldn't get appointments at 1 p.m. and had to go with 11 a.m. instead. Since we were 11 a.m. I had a busy morning and rushed out without coffee. I asked if they had coffee and they do, but it's powder from a package. Therefore, it is already sweetened with creamer and sugar. It was a little too sweet for me, so next time I know I need to bring my coffee. I really enjoy the decor of the place, it has a lot of glitter (which I love) and tons of greys and blue. They really like this dog training show and play it on the TV. It's a random thing to notice, but I miss when they played the home improvement shows. However, since I was there with my sister we were busy chatting instead. Their no frills pedicure (which is still great) is $33, which I think is a great deal. I feel like my feet were pampered and I have a new color that stays on pretty long. Overall I really like this place and I'll keep coming back for pedicures. If you have an appointment they are pretty on the ball about making sure they see you on time.

My new go-to spot to get my nails done…read more I'm pretty sporadic with getting my nails done. I would get a pedicure every so often at Tre nail salon with friends, but I wasn't an every month type of person. I would always get a deluxe pedicure that was $70, so I was very surprised (and delighted) when I walked out of here with a gel mani and pedi for only $55 (before tip). To be honest, the reason I chose this place was because it was the only salon that was open past 5 p.m. on a Sunday (they close at 6 p.m.) It was a last minute decision so I called at 4:30 p.m. to see if they could take me. They said they could fit me in at 5 p.m. On the phone Charlie, the owner, asked me if I wanted regular, gel or dip. Being that I don't get a manicure that often I said which would last the longest. He suggested dip and I agreed. When I came in and he looked at my nails, he said they were pretty strong and that I would prefer gel so I wouldn't have a thick nail look. I really appreciate that he took the time to correct his original assessment over the phone. This is a no frills place. They don't offer you water or wine and it was on the warm side when I first walked in, but that's probably why it's so cheap. I really appreciated that they had a sign that said to wear a mask. All the employees were wearing one and they have built clear walls between the manicurist and the patron for extra protection. Charlie is a really nice person. I got lucky and had my nails done by him. We chatted while he did my manicure. I think he did a fantastic job. I read a review by someone who felt rushed, but my manicure and pedicure took around an hour and fifteen minutes (which meant I was there after closing). I didn't feel rushed at all and I wouldn't have minded if they did rush since I knew I was cutting it close to their closing time. I get why people get their nails done every month. I think $55 is a fantastic price and my nails look great. I might have to start making this a part of my beauty routine.

When I first started coming here, everything was fantastic--great service and excellent product quality. Unfortunately, things have steadily declined over the past two years. The salon manager often seems rushed when handling phone bookings, which leads to frequent errors. Instead of addressing these mistakes, clients are blamed. On one occasion, I noticed errors in the bookings for five out of six clients within just 30 minutes. Additionally, the quality of the procedures has deteriorated. Appointments feel rushed, and the results reflect this. My gel polish is either applied so thickly that it becomes lumpy or so thinly that it peels off within days. Given that I have a desk job with no physical labor, there's no reason my gel polish should be peeling so quickly. This isn't an isolated issue--it has been a consistent problem for the past year. I kept hoping things would improve, but sadly, they have not.

Located close to my office, I decided to give this place a try. I love the idea of an organic nail…read morebar, but I have to say that I didn't see that this place was any more "organic" than the other salons I frequent. They appeared to use the same nail polish brands that other salons use. They did make a point to let you know that they change the plastic lining, and the drain cover, when you have a pedicure, but no special measures were taken for my manicure. I showed up without an appointment, but fortunately Tammy was able to take me right away. I showed her the design I wanted to do, and she said it was no problem, and picked the closest colors they had to what I wanted. Definitely not a perfect color match, but still okay. I think Tammy did a great job and I would definitely go see her again. I did find it kind of odd that the woman I assumed to be the Owner had to re-do the toe nail polish of one client in the salon AND actually do the toe nail polish on the toes of another client that another worker had prepped. The cost was reasonable - $40 for basic dip, although charging an extra $5 for polish removal, when only three fingers still had polish on them was a bit of a rip-off. Still, the place was pretty inside, with a comfortable relaxing feel to it, and I would definitely use them again.
