The nail tech did a great job and it was only $30 for the classic pedicure plus tips. This statement is based entirely on documented medical evidence, the timeline of events, and our firsthand experience. On October 28th, my wife received a manicure and pedicure at this establishment. Within days, she began suffering from severe peeling and skin breakdown on her feet. On November 4th, the symptoms worsened to the point where she needed medical care. A board-certified dermatologist diagnosed her with a fungal infection consistent with exposure during a pedicure service. The medical documentation explicitly links the infection to the service she received here. This situation alone is deeply troubling -- but it was not the worst part. When we returned to the salon seeking a simple, respectful conversation, we were confronted by JOJO, who is apparently the person in charge of handling customer concerns. Her behavior was shocking, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Instead of listening, showing concern, apologizing, or demonstrating even basic human decency toward a client harmed in her business, JOJO immediately: * Jumped straight to talking about "lawsuits" * Claimed she had "won lawsuits before" * Tried to intimidate us * Attempted to deflect responsibility onto a contractor * Showed zero empathy for the medical harm my wife is dealing with * Spoke to us in a dismissive, defensive, and confrontational tone * Made us feel like we were the problem for asking about a health and safety issue Her behavior made it clear that protecting herself mattered more than protecting customers' health. We did NOT go in there looking for a fight. We went in with evidence, with medical paperwork, and with respect. But the way JOJO handled this was deeply disturbing. She refunded the service -- which, ironically, acknowledges that something was wrong -- but refused a small, reasonable goodwill amount to help offset medical costs. Her reasoning? Because giving $200 would "make her look guilty." That statement alone shows where her priorities truly lie. Let it be known: A refund does not erase a fungal infection. A refund does not erase pain. A refund does not erase disrespect. We are posting this review to ensure that the public is fully informed. Customers deserve to know how health issues are handled here -- or, more accurately, how they are not handled. We are keeping every medical document, every receipt, every timeline, and every detail of our encounter with JOJO. I had scheduled an appointment for a mani/pedi with Cindy and because of family emergency, she was unable to perform the service. I made my appointment the day before, and even though the person I wanted to see was booked, Jason had been recommended so I went and saw him. There was plenty of parking available out front. Inside, it was clean and bright, with an excellent selection of name brand polishes available. Jason was very nice and efficient, although he didn't talk much. I showed him a picture of what I wanted for my St. Patrick Day nails, and he got right to work picking colors to create my vision. :-) My nails came out great, and I received many compliments on the design. While I did enjoy my gel manicure and thought he did a great job, the downside was that he did NOT use sterilized equipment, and when he was done cutting my cuticles he just put the tool back in his drawer, without even spraying it down. That is clearly very unsanitary and kind of grossed me out. Plus it surprised me, since even while I sitting there, the other technicians were cleaning every pedicure station. I would have thought that using sterilized equipment for each customer was standard procedure these days, and it was disappointing that this salon I liked so much did not. read more

She buffed my nails down made them feel fresh and so beautiful! I ended up getting a full set acrylic done with hombre and a pretty holly design for the holidays. Did I mention they have wine, soda, water and MIMOSAS !!! Yay for mimosas ! I was excited ! While I was getting my service done Jojo and I had a great conversation. There was not one moment of silence - it was great. I hate when it's the awkward silence and your mail tech never speaks. She made my service very enjoyable! For my pedicure I had Holly, she was the sweetest. I just got the basic pedicure since I was running low on time. But I still got all the goodies :) the massage and callus remover. This is probably the best salon I've ever been in my life! Everyone is kind, nice, helpful and most importantly they do an AMAZING JOB. One of my neighbors recommended this place and 4 of us went there to get pedis, was one of the most fun experiences ever. They gave us mimosas and champagne, they treated us super nicely and all of us left absolutely loving our pedis!! 2 weeks go by and I had a friend visiting from out of state, she wanted to to get a pedi.... I knew a place! Upon arrival they offered us a drink (have the moscato is so delicious) and they were helpful and once again... did an amazing job! I was helped by Jason, he is nothing but the best, love love love my gel manicure, love my pedi and throughout the whole thing he was funny, nice and listened to what I wanted it. I went in with a picture of something I wanted done on my nails. I wasn't sure if they could do it or not but Hai did a great job! He was also very friendly and noticed that I was sweating ( I'm very pregnant right now) so I'm always hot. he asked me how they could make me more comfortable and pointed two little fans at me. This place started to discriminate towards me because I mentioned a couple times if the person doing my pedicure can scrub my foot a little longer. I brought it up to the owner/manager and was told that it's a basic pedicure and I would need to book a different pedicure which was fine with me. But why not just tell me that while I'm getting the pedicure and I can get a deluxe or longer pedicure. That was never an issue. Every since then I've tried to book with them twice and both times they said they were available when I called and when I gave my number they said they're all booked up?? TWICE they've done this.
