She didn't want her time wasted and didn't want to wait - despite others already having appointments prior to hers (which she arrived 30 mins early for). Hi, please be advised that although Sonia has had several years of experience doing eyebrow microblading, she does not have a high-level of detail artistic skill. I took a picture to her of my penciled in eyebrows so she can see how I wanted them to look. I have a wide forehead so I didn't want the tail end of my eyebrows to come too close to my eyes. She said she could do it. After the work was done, the tail end of the eyebrows came close to my eyes. I was disappointed, but they didn't look ugly, so I didn't have a fit. I just had to accept it - it's permanent ink. One eyebrow was noticeably lower than the other side, so I have to use a lot of eyebrow pencil every day to make them look better. The worse thing she did was use a tattoo machine to lengthen one of my eyebrows that was shorter than the other side during a touchup. She recommended the tattoo machine over microblading, since it was just a small area. I agreed to let her do it because I had seen tattoos that look like hair strings on people, so I figured she would lightly fill in the area the same way. Instead she put a heavy blob of ink on the area and made it crooked (see picture attached). I was afraid to go to someone else who may make the work look even worse, so I reluctantly went to her to try and make it look better. Other tattoo artist do not like to work on botched up microblading by other artist. As you can see on the photo attached, my eyebrows do not have the level of detail and niceness that's marketed on their website. I had an expert look at it and they strongly criticized her work. Hopefully, I'll find someone who will be willing to fix it, but it will be hard with that blob of ink at the end of the brow area. My advice to you is to go to an expert who does microblading and shading and can show you several pictures of the work they have done. I've seen two people on my job whose eyebrows came out perfect the first time and they don't have to fill-in their eyebrows with pencil every day like I have to do. I hope this information helps you to make a wiser choice than I did. P.S. - Attached is a picture of how my eyebrows looked after the microblading she did. I decided to try the brown lamination and eyelash Lift was in and out in 30 minute. I really don't wear makeup but my brow look so good brushed and shaped so well. I got my eyebrows microneedled/ microbladed (people call it different things) by Sonia the owner and I'm absolutely in LOVE with my results. I've been going to Vogue for eyebrow threading (shoutout to Hannah) for almost 2 years so they definitely know what they're doing here. Sonia is a perfectionist so we spent time with the shape and color of the ink. The technique is not like your typical eyebrow tattoo. Instead its stroke by stroke to mimic the look of actual hair. She provided a topical numbing cream and we went upstairs to a clean and well lit room. The pain on a scale of 1-10 was about a 4, more discomfort than anything else (it feels like your skin is being scraped) But the results are awesome. We went a few days before to see if we needed to make an appointment for our henna tattoos and they said no and that we can walk in whenever. Two days later we walk in and no one that was working could do a henna so they sent us to their other location which is all the way across the mall. Aka this location. We walk in and showed the lady a picture of what we wanted, she didn't say anything & just stared at us & began working on our hands. The entire time she kept smearing & fucking it up. My review for Vogue is for the eyelash extension service I received. I shopped around for places to get eyelash extensions since prices vary greatly from place to place. This was middle of the road in terms of price, $80. I looked around on Yelp and found this place but I only saw reviews for their eyebrow threading service, but decided to just go for it. It is indian owned and they also do 'mendhi' body designs, permanent makeup and such, but I guess they're mostly known for their eyebrow threading service. I decide to make an appt. and try this place out for 3pm. I waited almost 30 min. after my appt. to be called in, knock off one star. The 'eyelash tech' is a middle aged asian woman has a gentle, soft hand. The small back room is clean and tidy and the table to lie down on has a fresh white sheet and is soft and supportive. Nice relaxing music plays in the background. The whole procedure takes almost an hour. No burning sensation from the glue, which it can sometimes tend to do. When she's done, I sit up and she hands me a mirror. My lashes look great! Not too full, but voluminous and not fake looking. She tells me to avoid saunas and steam rooms and to not shower for 24 hours so that the glue properly cures. No problem. I was pleased with the outcome of my lashes, but getting rung up was a whole different story. There was another girl working the register and she literally did not know what she was doing. She had to call up two other girls help her out, after 15 minutes the three of them couldn't get it right.... in the end it was my asian eyelash lady who finished checking me out, knock off another star. If you're an owner, and don't know how to use your own register, that shows poorly on your business. Service=good.....wait and checkout experience=bad. read more

I have tried a few ladies at Vogue, but was not that satisfied until I met Anju. She is the only one whom I will trust with my eyebrows since she does a great job, and she's fast. There were times when she wasn't there, and I had to try someone else. She knows when someone else did my eyebrows and always tries to "fix" it for me.
