It's been 3 months and what an amazing journey it has been. Very intimate, personal, with a touch of fun & laughter. The teachings are very Biblically sound yet made relatable to our daily needs. Amazing place to visit myself and just welcomed even to help yourself to water. Easy to understand key points in the service. People from staff and the head pastor to ushers are nice. Accessible place for the disabled. Restrooms are clean coming in to use. Just able to enjoy smoothly and even got a family room nor lounge seperately in case of distraction. Love love love this church!!!! We love how friendly and welcoming and warm this church is! It is diverse in age groups, life stages, and people so you are bound to get connected with people who are like you and different than you (how a church should be)! The lead pastors are super friendly and warm and took my husband and me in immediately with open arms! We really appreciate that the head pastors keep it real and don't have a standoffish vibe and "I'm better than you because I'm a pastor" vibe. They are so down-to-earth and so open and chill. We are so glad to call this our home church now and plan on growing old with the church! We also love that the church is not too big and not too small- it's just right! We moved up here from San Diego a few years back, and we never really felt like Orange County felt like home until we started attending Voice and meeting people and going to small group! Stop by and say hi, we are here most Sundays! Also, COVID friendly- right now, services are outdoors, people wear masks, and everyone social distances. I am NEW around here, approx 2 months in, and it already feels like home. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed with friendly faces, warm coffee, and let's not forget the D.O.N.U.T.S. !!!! Yes, I luv donuts and this is the perfect combination of nutrition before church service, I'm just sayin... This church may be small but it's on the move, and the heart for people is big around here. I love the authenticity that Taka and Natalie serve the congregation with, and I have been a recipient of what godly community can offer, voice church is right up there in doing all that they can to serve you right where your at. Here at voice you will also be challenged in your faith to look deep within yourself and take your identity in Christ to a higher level. Are you really living for God or yourself? We had just moved into the OC and were looking for a place to call home and a church family. After visiting a few places, nothing really stood out. I found Voice after seeing their trailer in a shopping area and decided to go check it out. After the first service, it was hands down the church for our family. The generosity and love of the people is infectious, the worship/service is simple and thoughtful, yet so impactful, the sermons drive deep into the heart and are just real, and this church really does feel like the answer to what Jesus would've done in modern times (diverse and reflective of the local community, outreach driven, yet purposefully built to meet the needs of its people). My wife and I have been attending Voice for several months, and now call it home. We enjoy the diversity, the location, the small community feel, and the leadership. The pastor and his wife are super refreshing, have a big heart, and very relateable. Messages are not boring, and laced with funny references and quick wit. Amazing church and welcoming community!! Voice Church is unlike any church I have ever attended. I came from a past of bad experience with the church and was terrified to try yet another church where I could potentially get hurt again. However, God truly lead me to a place with people who love Him so much and have a heart for Jesus and those around them that is so evident. From the first day my boyfriend (now husband) and I walked in we were met with welcoming smiles and people who genuinely cared to know us! My wife, two kids, and I recently moved from IL to Irvine CA, but not for the reasons most people would. We didn't move here for the weather (although.. come on), we didn't move here for the beaches (see side comment above), but we moved here because we have believed for so long that church can and should look a certain way... authentic, real, raw, passionate, glorifying to God, and legitimately something that will change your life, and not due to behavior modification.... but because of a realization that people are created and loved by a very real and interactive God. For us being a part of voice church is far from a rediculous gamble,even though it seems we gave a lot up to be here.. but it's a calculated risk. And the equation was actually pretty simple.... The church grounds their beliefs on being a voice of God in the community and focuses on spreading God's love. They do not judge based on background or beliefs. They welcome all and show nothing short of love. Voice has helped my family and I through some of the darkest times of our lives, including fights with cancer and addiction. Being new to Orange County, my family was looking for a Christian community that was all about community. Not a big church where people come and go and never get connected. We prayed for a church that allowed for us to grow in our faith and get to know other diverse believers. This was of course a struggle with Covid going on and online church services being the norm.
