My spiritual exploration brought me to Unity of Tustin today for Sunday service. I found the space to be warm, grounded, welcoming and full of peaceful energy. I came for the service not knowing what to expect, it's an inclusive and welcoming service. Today the service was full of God talk but the loving, kind, and wisdom sharing god. I felt renewed, peaceful and glad I came after service. The service included a guided meditation, welcome to visitors and affirmations. There was a bookstore, beautiful gardens, and hosted potluck lunch afterwards. It was a beautiful introduction to the church and space. Everyone we met was kind and welcoming, definitely coming back. Their bookstore had Brene Brown, Ken Wilber, Joseph Villolodo, Sonia Choquette and several other interesting options. I was sold because it reflects my own library. read more

The church has great leaders and teachings, however its extremely small and lacks a wide scope family congregation and focus (congregation is 75+). The grounds were once spectacular, but now abandoned. I pray the church will be restored to its original glory and receive a long overdue redesign and refresh of the entire property and the church itself which is very dark. read more

Unity of Tustin is my home for spiritual nurturing. The mediation gardens bring me peace. It is a wonderful community of loving people. There is an active youth group, a wide variety of small group classes, and opportunities for service. Being a member has helped me to see more of the beauty in the world and to be less judgmental of myself and others. read more

This is a great place for energy building exercises and blissful empowering meditations. The garden is extremely nice and very quiet with many areas to stop and meditate. There's a labyrinth you can walk in the garden as well. The sanctuary is very well-kept and the diversity of the community here is amazing! We are all connected in our interrelated web of existence, and if you're interested in a continuous, dynamic, and cooperative exchange with other people, this is the place! Unity of Tustin has been our sanctuary of spiritual learning. The staff are highly qualified and exceptionally professional. Reverend Carolyne delivers an amazing sermon that is relevant to many things going on in our lives. Many guest speakers have traveled to Unity of Tustin to pass on their wisdom including; Eckhart Tolle, Bryon Katie, and David Hawkins to name just a few. The tranquil meditation grounds help to ground us in living with the living of our beautiful earth! The children's program is a safe and relaxed atmosphere for the children to learn more about themselves and how they benefit the world. Unity of Tustin is a hidden gem! At first it appears to be just a simple driveway off of Prospect Ave, but as you enter you immediately find a series of surprises. A waterfall, lovely Meditation Gardens and a labyrinth ease you into this unique peaceful place. On Sundays while the pandemic persists there is a lovely, socially distanced service in the Meditation Garden in keeping with CDC Guidelines. Post-pandemic we will return to our beloved sanctuary which is marked by a blue awning. I was first attracted by Unity's positive, down-to-earth message that is so supportive in living a spiritual life. I like the gentle style of prayer, the practices of meditation and Reiki, the teachings and classes offered by our Spiritual Ministry Team and the amazing people who are attracted here and who have so enriched my life. I searched for about a year for a non-dogmatic, non-dual (heaven/hell) for my children and I. Once I tried Unity of Tustin, I knew I found my spiritual home. "One God, many paths" is the real deal with everyone welcome and all religions celebrated. Be sure to check out the many class offerings. I have learned so much from them and they have grown my community connection. The Youth and Family Ministry welcomed my children as their own. The program provides my children with a weekly forum to talk to their peers about whatever is going on and grow their own spiritual path. My children have learned to be still, listen to their inner voice, appreciate that God is in all things and understand that they create their experiences but what they think and believe. This has helped them in all parts of their lives. Unity of Tustin's vision just keeps expanding and it fills my spiritual cup every week. Since Covid, services have been online and in-person in the garden. The weekly children's classes have been on Zoom and such a blessing for my kids. Can't wait to get back in person. read more

I am a member at Unity of Tustin and I arrived in 2010, not knowing what to expect, accept that I knew Unity of Tustin was a non-denominational Church and welcomed people of different faiths, even though they followed the teachings of Jesus Christ. What attracted me and kept me coming back, was their refreshing approach on how they addressed the Bible teachings, more metaphorically, rather the dogmatic way I was familiar with, sticking closely to the text. Unity spoke more in terms of using universal principals in their teachings, to apply to our daily lives and making the power of love central, to any service provided or that extended to others. Simply, as I have now come to learn, living from a Christ Consciousness that is present within me and recognizing that same is present within my neighbor. With this knowing, the congregants are of a high level of consciousness and hold everyone with the highest integrity, that is quite unique and heart warming. You can feel the warm welcome, even if you are a visitor. There are Prayer Chaplains that are available to anyone that requires to have someone to pray with. The prayers held in strict confidence. The Gardens are outstanding to walk through and has eight meditative sites, where each site was created, around the Genesis story. A quaint peaceful St. Francis of Assisi garden, with a bird feeder and bath, makes a quiet place to relax and watch the birds. It also has a unique labyrinth, which is a replication of the labyrinth of the Chartres Cathedral, in France. Many have commented about the quality and variety found in our "Timeless Wisdom Bookstore". I love browsing in there, immersed, reading the forward of different spiritual authors. Unity has hosted many well known Speakers like Eckhart Tolle, David Hawkins, Ram Dass, Adyashanti and many others. I have been present when many of these inspired Speakers have commented that our grounds were sacred and they felt the Presence of Divine very strong and unmistakable. Currently we have three diverse Ministers that have different strengths. One that is a Senior Unity Minister, one that is from the school of Richard Rohr and one that is a Tao teacher and a meditation guide. The Sunday service is held in an open space in the garden and broadcasted for streaming. We observe and meet all the requirements to comply with Covid regulations. I have been attending Unity of Tustin since 2009. I think it's the best New Age Church in Orange County with Metaphysical, Mystical and Practical Christian teachings. Unity of Tustin is the perfect place to assist you on your Spiritual journey, and all are welcome. On Sundays there is an 11:00AM service with 3 rotating ministers giving you a range and variety of services and teachings. The teachings are practical so that you can use them in your everyday life. Other activities offered include meditations, various classes, a thriving Youth and Family Ministry, outreach opportunities in the community, selfless service, plus a chance to connect with other people and make new friends. My midlife quest led me to Unity of Tustin, where I have stayed for over 20 years. This church has brought me not only the wisdom of the Bible, but also of other great spiritual traditions of the world as well as of today's master teachers. In addition, Unity teaches practices that have helped me to deepen a direct connection with God. When I ask what it is about this community, I often hear, "It's the people". So, here is my attempt to describe what I discovered: Unity of Tustin radiates a non-dual, mystical, spiritual outlook that creates a field of beauty, peace, and caring,--a loving field that is clearly felt in its people, teachings, and gardens.
