This was our first visit to a Korean BBQ & hot pot restaurant, and we had fun! The concept is interesting with both cooking at the table options - a grill in the center for the raw meats and vegetable menu options that are available, and hot pot heaters on each side of the table if you choose that option instead. Unlike a Japanese hibachi grill, there is no expert to cook provided for your table - YOU are your own cook here! My "date" chose the hot spot, I chose the grill. Both were all-you-can-eat servings which allow you to choose two meats (12-15 total options) and several veggies or sides from their long list (30+) of selections in each round (to limit waste, which makes sense). My favorite was the volcano steak, which included great seasoning and super tender meat. It's not the highest quality meat you'll find, but that's too be expected in an all-you-can-eat concept. The environment was fun except for the unbelievable large video screen on the back wall that is too bright and obnoxious like some digital billboards! The delivery robot that delivered certain items to tables was an interesting curiosity especially for the kids at the tables around us. The best part of our experience was the service, which was very attentive and responsive and included lots of instructions and patience to coach rookie like us to the this cooking concept. She also gave very helpful suggestions that helped us pick from the long left of menu selections. Fun experience although not cheap! We would do it again just because it's truly unique. read more

We were visiting Chattanooga for the week. Korean BBQ is our absolute favorite food and we don't have Korean BBQ anywhere near where we live, so whenever we travel, we are always on the lookout for Korean BBQ. This place was so good - we ate there Tuesday, then, again Thursday. We're heading out tomorrow - but seriously considered staying one more day, to eat there again! We've had a lot of good Korean, all you can eat BBQ over the years, but this one ranked near the top. The best quality meats we have had anywhere. Service was excellent. The grills are the best and fastest cooking we have seen. They also have hot pot for $5 extra - but we didn't want ANYTHING else - the Beef Bulgogi was SO GOOD. If you've never had Korean. So I was really hoping that this place would be good because then I wouldn't have to drive to ATL for kbbq. They didn't have as many sides and options. Not bad overall but this wouldn't be my first choice for kbbq. Our waitress was super nice and attentive though. So the service was great. My main reason for two stars is because of how dirty our booth was including the floor. It was hard to enjoy the meal because of how icky everything felt. I have to say, they seemed pretty short staff so I understand that they're not going to be on top of everything but at least wipe down the booth properly before seating ( there were pieces of food on the seats and table). read more

So my niece was in town and loves Korean food and convinced me to come here for dinner. I've seen the signs around town and knew she'd love it. This was my first time having Korean BBQ and I guess I get the hype and this place is All You Can Eat (AYCE). They sat us at table for six which was strange since they had a number of opened tables for two. No problem except the floor around the table and benches were dirty and needed to be cleaned! Our waiter GiGi was friendly and explained the options. They have a small hot/cold bar with a few options and sauces. Many missing labels and staff struggled to know the different sauces. But there was one with oranges that I really enjoyed. I will say the bar had very small amounts of food. I guess to discourage waste but it didn't seem to help make sure items were fresh. I guess most people skip the food bar and focus solely on the meat. So the meat... we were able to select one meat and two sides per person at a time and potion sizes weren't bad. Overall the meat was good but not the sides. I had ramen noodles what were overcooked and flavorless. I also had veggies and requested no peppers but received mostly peppers. My niece commented her normal place in Clarksville is much better - taste-wise but did enjoy the option to try different meats. Throughout our meal we noticed the workers used a robot to deliver drinks from the bar or ice cream cups at the end or the meal. Seems fun if you're into that but since we skipped ice cream he never came to our table. So why 3 stars ... cuz it's just an ok place. She made sure everything was good for us and even interacted in a fun way with our 2 year old! 4 Stars: The food here was good, Not as many included options for meats as some places, I don't like that you have to pay extra for short ribs.... They give a 5% military discount to only that person, not the family so $2 off your $111.00 bill You get a cup of ice cream to top off your meal. My son likes the robot cat server that brings your drinks to you. The ambiance is sort of Korean music videos with digital waves in the beach along the floor (which my son really liked) and an industrial styling. 4 Stars all in all it was a good spot but at $111 for 2 adults and a free 2 year old after tax and tip make it not regular spot for visiting often. We came here as we were passing through Chattanooga. It was my first time at Hot Pot. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! The food was tender and tasty and they offer a wide variety of selection for meats, sides, and sauces. I highly recommend the Beef Bulgogi. They also have some truly spicy options (the ramen and the spicy pork bulgogi) for anyone who has a knack for fiery tastes. The robot that dispenses boba is a very cool addition to the modern vibes of the restaurant. Also, shoutout to our server, Harley. I visited this restaurant and ate at about 9pm by 3:30 am I woke up nauseated and spent half an hour with diarrhea after eating here and I never post bad reviews but this is concerning. While in Chattanooga today I passed this Korean Not Pot place, which appears similar to one I visited in Orlando where you order meats and cook them yourself at the table. I know, it sounds like the customer is the cook, and you are, but it's fun. I was traveling for work alone which means it wasn't as fun as experiencing this with someone else, but I still enjoyed it. They have lunch and dinner options, but unfortunately all the good meats I wanted are only available for dinner. You can pay the dinner price to get access to the broader menu at lunchtime, but my travel and expense policy wouldn't cover the increased amount at lunchtime so I was stuck with the standard menu. It was still pretty good, and all you can eat (although I didn't eat much). My waitress Harley was lovely (Ask for her if you come in!)) and very attentive. At lunch time they have a small buffet of things included (like sesame chicken, chicken nuggets, etc) but the selection is very small, the items sparse and not very warm. Big spacious clean restaurant. Our server, Brianna, was excellent. Too bad the food wasn't. Could be a new, fun experience but the best of everything we tried were the spring rolls. This is an "all you can eat" with several choices. Our server was great at " teaching us the ropes" but the meat ( you cook on the grill at your table) was tasteless at best. Maybe we needed more sauces, which were plentiful. We ordered lettuce as a side to make our own lettuce wraps but instead of iceberg, they use small pieces of romaine. and the volcano salad was so-so. I give this place a 3.5, if you can't eat a lot in one sitting then I don't recommend coming here lol. But there's so much food they offer that you can enjoy in 2 hours. They have a buffet of sides that is easily accessible and so many dipping sauces to choose from. There were a couple downsides to this place. Such as if you wanted to do the soup/ hot pot, EVERYONE at the table ALSO had to order the hot pot instead of both. Another downside was that the service my family and I received was horrible. The waiter just didn't do a good job but I'm sure the other waiters in the restaurant were much better. It was very loud inside as they were blasting Korean music. Overall I recommend this place if you like an all you can eat Korean BBQ and can ask the staff to turn the music down. This place is under new ownership since June 2025 and is now known as "Stone Age Korean BBQ and Hotpot." 5 stars! Went for lunch (until 3PM). Excellent food and great service. For the BBQ, you order 2 meats (chicken, beef, brisket, pork, bibimbap, etc.) and 3 side items (salad, mixed vegetables, etc.). The server brings your order to your table for you to cook on the round grill in the middle of the table. It was fun. They also have sushi, crab rangoon, pot stickers and other items at separate buffet tables. read more

I pass by this huge billboard on Shallowford/Gunbarrel and basically it got me excited cuz I love AYCE KBBQ. There's not really much choices of AYCE KBBQ in Nashville so when I'm in Chattanooga it's peaked my interest. I looked online at the menu and decided that I'd try the lunch AYCE first cuz I didn't want to commit to full price without trying it. KBBQ can get expensive quick so the only way I can reason it out is by going when prices are cheaper Love the variety for lunch and would definitely go again. I got the Hawaiian bulgogi and that was pretty good. The pork belly actually wasn't cut the way I thought it would be. Not like other KBBQ places so that was a miss for me. I made the mistake of ordering the brisket last and had no room for it so that's a mistake I won't repeat. For the banchan, I loved the salad and the sweet radish. When you eat KBBQ it's very easy to feel... what we Filipinos describe as "umay" (Ooo-Mai) basically it's like you don't want to eat it anymore because you've had too much of it due to flavor or too much fat/oil or just overall too much of one thing. Too much meat and then if you eat just rice you just kind of feel heavy so the salad and the radish is a great way to eat more of the meat and not tap out and get too full. read more

Great place for reasonably authentic KBBQ. Fantastic addition to Chattanooga's rather sad Asian food scene. The only all you can eat option which is the best way to go. Ignore the negative reviews, obviously posted by people who had no idea what they're doing ("the meat was bland", yeah, that's what the sauce, salt, and ban chan are for). Would go with someone who knows what they're doing, or just ask the staff to show you! Meat quality is decent, great value for the price actually. One area for them to improve is the ban chan, which are not as flavorful as other places I've been. Side dishes are fantastic, especially the beef soup. read more

Where do I begin? This was their opening night and I am glad I was there to kick it off!... Apparently so did about 100 other people LOL First let me begin by saying the service was absolutely wonderful. Our server for obvious reasons was still learning as they just opened so I shared with her some of the Korean names of dishes in case she's ever asked so she can point to what that is for future customers. Will she remember that??? Probably not but it was a fun conversation nevertheless LOL! Great staff over all at all stations. OK now on to the food because that's what really everybody wants to know right? LOL I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of meat being offered and had a business partner with me that happen to enjoy Korean food as well and we went through 4 rib eye steaks and 1 order of the brisket. We started to develop "meat sweats" which the gauge telling you to STOP! LOL. The side dishes were also very flavorful and delicious and I highly recommend that when you're nearby or in town to stop in and give them a try I know I'll be back in future travels. We had an awesome dinner experience! When we walked in, we were seated quickly. Our waitress was so kind, funny and attentive the entire time. You can choose to do hotpot, bbq or both and we decided to do just bbq! Our waitress was patient and took the time to explain to us how their process works because we have realized every where is different. It is all you can eat and you are allowed to choose two meats which consists of so much like chicken, beef bulgogi, seafood and steak. You can choose vegetables and side dishes. There is also a buffet bar that consists with all the sauces, other side dishes like seaweed salad and kimchi, spring rolls, dumplings, crab ragoons, chicken wings and donuts and a lot of fruit! We decided to order filet mignon Hawaiian beef bulgogi, spicy squid, and spicy shrimp. Everything tasted delicious! We were also given ice cream to take home because we were so full to finish it but a robot brought it to us! I also ordered the Taro bubble tea and it was delicious as well! Somehow we got food before our grill plate was set up, so it felt like there was a lot of unnecessary waiting with that & the repeatedly forgotten items. Mise en plas non existent. Half of the restaurant seats were closed off and there was still plenty of open seating so it wasn't due to high volume or dinner rush by any means. Just bad time management with our server. Make sure you ask for Alex or Garret! Both are excellent servers! The brisket and beef bulgogi are my favorites here! With each order the food came out fairly quick. The portions in which they bring as well are a decent size. Love the kimchi just make sure you ask for the juicy kimchi( otherwise your missing out). The Korean potato salad is great as well. The lettuce wraps are perfect if your not into salads, it helps break up all the meat your consuming. The new food bar which seems to vary by day includes chicken wings, fries, sliced fruit, dumplings, pastry dessert along with dipping sauces. This place is decently clean. This place does tend to get busy so having and hour wait seems to be the norm now. They do offer different promotions throughout the week, so make sure you call or ask. Look forward to another visit! Based on prior reviews, other people seem to think this place is just ok, mediocre quality compared to similar restaurants. But I'm not from around here and this is the first time I've ever been to a Korean BBQ and for me, it was a fantastic experience. The only time I've done something similar was at The Melting Pot, and that is obviously not strictly Korean, although they do have various Asian-inspired flavors. While similar in principle, this was a completely different experience; I think I like Korean BBQ more than The Melting Pot, to be honest. The only somewhat negative thing I have to say is that being we've never done Korean BBQ before, we didn't really know what we were doing so I don't think we did it "right" so to say, we weren't sure what things to mix together or what sauces to get, but we still really enjoyed everything. We have our best attempt to try a little bit of everything. Also, I only realized afterwards that the scissors they give you are for cutting up the meat into smaller pieces as it's cooking. We only did the BBQ, not the hotpot. We got a few different types of beef and pork, the servings are pretty large, I would have preferred smaller servings, so that we could try a larger variety of proteins, but what we got was all very good. It was very nicely marinated and very tender once cooked. We also got mixed veggies for the BBQ as well, those were very good. The Bipimbap was my favorite side dish by far, I'm not sure how it compares to other restaurants, but I thought it was really good. The deep-fried side dishes are on a buffet, the spring rolls and fried dumplings were both good. Also on the buffet is fruit, a few different types of noodles, a huge selection of sauces, and a few dessert options. Our server was very attentive. The food from the kitchen came out very quickly after ordering. You are allowed to order one meat and one side per person at a time, and I think one bowl of veggies for grilling for the whole table. This would be really fun to do with maybe 4 people, so you could all order something different and pass it around and try different things. More than that might get a little chaotic to be passing stuff around, but that's just my opinion. I would definitely do this again, both at this location and Korean BBQ in general; if I was in a different city with a Korean BBQ restaurant. It felt very different and special. I was excited to hear of a Korean BBQ restaurant that allows customers to cook -- as I had lived in China for five years and regularly enjoyed this. Upon entering, it's clear that this restaurant is not similar to the working-class Korean BBQ restaurants found in Asia: this is a large, buffet-style eating hall with large screens playing K-Pop music videos. It's an interesting aesthetic, equal parts modern dining, night club, and Buffet-Americana. The service was great: our server was very, very "chill," and everything came as ordered. The price was terrible: fifty dollars is too much -- unless you're willing to transform yourself into a true American Glutton, which, looking around the restaurant, many seemed to embrace. The meats were awesome: every meat we tried was fresh, well-marinated, and delicious. We ate ours in lettuce wraps that were not as fresh. The sides were awful: a bowl of rice with sliced radishes is not bibimbap. The buffet was a mix: it was really nice to have access to unlimited sauces and fried dumplings. The fried dumplings were good. We ate too many. You will too. Conclusion: I won't be back. It's frankly too expensive, unless you're willing to eat far more than you should. I hope a Korean restaurant opens in Chattanooga that offers personal grills and reasonable, non-gluttonous portions. read more

Food- The bad: I've never had less kimchi-like kimchi in my life. And my Korean husband and I eat plenty. Did they try to Americanize it? I've never had kimchi with no flavor before. The cucumber kimchi tasted like fresh cucumber with no heat. Japjae was awful. The bibimbap was also awful. Basically all the banchan was disappointing. Especially at these prices. I also left so thirsty I couldn't get enough water to drink the rest of the day and next morning. (Spiked with MSG to make you drink more? Who knows) Good: the meat marinades were ok. They tasted good. Our opinions are tarnished because of how unhappy we were with the quality-vs-price. We don't mind paying these prices for a 5 star meal. But we won't be back. Somewhere between Ryan's Steakhouse and the living room! The atmosphere is kinda illusional and maybe that's why they get a 3 star. At first you're welcomed with the wow factor of moving water on the floor. Everything is wide open w/ the bar as the center point. However, once you get to your booth the feeling becomes more non-cozy and more buffet style but with big TVs to watch a rerun of Big Bang Theory. I can definitely say it takes about 1.5-2 hours to get your fill. Small batches of meat comes out preseasoned and ready for you to cook. (The spicy squid is pre-cooked so it's a reheat and serve) The service started out slow but ended with a bang! (No pun intended-she just picked up her mojo and did great) I definitely would give a 4+5 for service. I even saw one server pretty much walking an older couple through their entire meal-explaining the how to's and almost cooking for them. That says a lot! The meats were flavorful, but not too spicy. The spicy shrimp had to have been the most heat flavored dish. Volcano beef was pretty tasty. I enjoyed the spicy pork belly as well. I'd recommend the lemon pepper chicken. Not fatty and good flavor. They have a hot/cold food bar but don't get your hopes up. Chicken nuggets, spring rolls and, what every Asian restaurant has on their bar!!!! If you guessed hot wings you win! The cold bar had 3-4 fruits/melons of some sort. Didn't appeal for the price point. Overall, the food and service experience was a 4+ stars. Maybe I just can't get past seeing Leonard in his boxers while I'm eating! For $40 per person you'd expect more variety on the bar and better portions. I'd do it again. read more

My husband and I loved this place!!! Our favorite meats were : Ribeye Seasoned Steak, Spicy Pork Belly, filet mignon & the brisket. The sides were really good too and the sauces were great! Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable, we asked a lot of questions and they were very good at explaining everything. They changed our grill a few times since we wanted to try most of the meats to get a feel of what we like. The ambiance is relaxing and very clean. The robots were so cool! Although the quality is decent, the price is not where it should be. AYCE Korean BBQ are usually in the price range of $22 to $30 for adults. This is true in multiple cities in different states, such as Seattle, LA, San Diego, Houston, and Las Vegas. As someone who eats KBBQ often either at home or outside when I used to live in the West Coast, I wanted to try the place out since I wanted to see why it was so expensive. The meat cost is cheaper in the East Coast so there shouldn't be any reason why it is $40/person; I guess the only reason is that there are no other KBBQ restaurants so people here might believe this is a good deal. This AYCE place feels like a $25/person place you can get pretty much anywhere else. People might think that it is expensive because they have a lot of options, but it is like that everywhere... and it is actually better for AYCE to have more options because that means people are less likely to order to more expensive meats & can save money that way. read more

It is pricy at $40 so by the time you add drink, tips and tax your looking $55-60 range per person I felt like I got my $ worth however be sure to bring a Empty stomach and don't bring someone with you that is a light eater It's a unique experience as you cook the meat yourself. The best thing I had was probably the two spicy pork options and the worst the brisket it was to thin an crunchy. The shrimp were big we got 10 for 2 people. They had the shell and leg stuff on them so some don't like that The servers help you out and she did a good job of quickly brining you meat out. They of course Reid to push the side items like rice to fill you Up. The manager "ling ling" was incredibly nice and went above and beyond.
